    i'm currently working on an outline for a character i've been wanting to do, so i'll most likely have a joining thread posted either today or tomorrow. I don't know how long i'll last, i'm simply looking to do some causal roleplay, but i want to help make this board work.


    for those who remember, i roleplayed a former leader here, but i left abruptly due to irl issues along with some other things. if i'm being honest, part of the reason why i left was because some members in the former rc community made it clear that they did not like me or my characters, and it just added to my already dying muse. still, i don't want to see this board die after working on getting it back to the front - especially when it also costed the KoE.


    anyways, i just wanted to see who is up for the task of making this board active again? i know this is super random of me, i just want to help out since this has been my home since 2012 i cant stay away rip.

I've been trying to help pick things up a bit around here, and I see some improvement, but very little of it. I think our biggest issues are currently somewhat inactive HPs, cliques, and lack of events. Based on how active you had this place going when you were leading it, I'm assuming that you know how to fix some of the issues.     As usual, i'm keeping my usual rp pace. Lack of activity hasn't bothered me a whole lot, but I do know it needs to be fixed. We have too many innactive hp's and that needs to be fixed. We also need dedicated, hardworking members who we KNOW will help! Frankly we don't have a whole lot of those here. However, I think with a bit of work...we can fix this place up.


    Anyways Muggy, i'm pretty sure people will be happy you're back. Athena was a leader the clan honestly needed. Regardless, I hOPE YOU DO BIG THINGS DUDE.

It's definitely a community project. um, for me, i'm already back at school and I'm taking several AP courses, so I might not be posting a million times a day, but I'm also not looking to be promoted or anything. i'm here to throw ideas out, and just be here in general for the board.


    okay okay, so from the problems you guys listed, I think there should be a mass demotion. I'm not sure if the leader is active or not, but that's up to them tbh. I can't really do anything about the HP problem, but speaking from personal experience, you don't need to be an HP to hold events, befriend allies, ectera. Being an HP is just a fancy title that gives some privileges to characters XD


    cliques are an impossible issue, and i think that's something to work on for the future. still, I think the second chat thread that's up should be either locked, or moved, since it's just another breeding ground for cliques. i'm not in any position of authority lmao, so this is all my opinion.


    as for events, i guess the summer tournament died oops. i really loved that idea. umm, events are kinda easy since you can just think of something fun and sticky it, idk.


    see, before the trad clans came, i was working on making this group more like the books. now there is another version dedicated to being traditional, so I think this RiverClan needs a new identity. any ideas on this, or is it too much??

    i'm always down for a territory change. maybe we can 'move the steamboat' to a new area. Like spend a few days 'on sea/river'? Idk, just figured it would be original since most territory moves involve everyone gathering everything and moving themselves. Thought it'd be cool to move their 'home' with them. but it's up to Jager.

As for events, I suggest that anyone who wants to hold one may do so, and if they're larger events sticky them!


    Yeah, I kind of wish the tournament didn't just... Die. I had a lot of fun with it while it lasts though cx


    The Skyclan leader and I are currently setting up a blind dating event for the two clans, so we can get some interactions going through that, if it helps!


    I like the idea of a move, and bringing the steamboat with them would be just plain awesome, especially since they know it actually works now! Maybe we can move them to an island again, but make the island much different and we can all work together to come up with cool parts of the new territory! I think that would be fun and could bring up some plots.


    I was also thinking that we could start a new Riverclan tradition. There was something that Sunclan used to do (I don't know if they still do or not) but they used to hold this "sunball" and it was a huge event and was so fun to plan! I think we should have something similar, like an annual River Festival or something?

    When you mentioned river festival some reason it made me think of like that festival (i forgot name of) w releasing light lanterns into the river or the sky (asian culture thingy) maybe it could be similar like that

    I think a River Festival would be a super cool idea. The lanterns could be like the highlight of the entire event c:

    On that note though, I sort of think Riverclans camp could be behind a waterfall or something. Like the boat is docked in a lush forest with a huge waterfall that cascades from against a giant cliff face. And like -- can the entire thing be strung with lanterns eventually? Behind the waterfall and in front of it? At night thE WATERFALL IS GLOWING BECAUSE OF THE LANTERNS BEHIND IT AND AHHHHH
    AESTHETIC?


    And inside the cave its big, but theres a hole in the roof of it that only reveals a huge amount of forestation, but it keeps inside full of natural daylight and deeps the place dry. There could also be smaller cave systems that led to dens and other things. Cave systems can just about go on forever, so that would be cool okAY. And like tHE FOREST NEEDS TO BE FILLED WITH FIREFLIES, EVERY NIGHT.

    dang inno i love the design. We could call it the glowing waterfall omg. Anyways, If others come up with territories and stuff we can do a vote possibly? Though I would love to have the shipwrecked plot used since it could do us a lot of good for the ic community.


    Im weak when it comes to spooky places/ghost towns/new orleans type of things and I thought it would be something that we could build stories from/something diffrent.

    A mass adoption might not be a bad idea. I know we had one recently but that kinda' flopped, so starting fresh may be better. I was also thinking Hp Tryouts for the Riverguard team. What do you guys think? I'm wary about Hp tryouts but having everything sorted it out may be better in the long run.


    We do need some traditions, I think the thread that I bought this up last time die, but it had some good ideas, so I'll try and dig it up. If we have some interesting quirks in Riverclan I think the more joiners will stay, because we don't have a problem with them joining, just staying around and keeping muse for the place.


    There will be a meeting Sunday, because some of the HPs elected in the meeting have became increasingly inactive, so it's like "Pphh, gotta sort that out."

    I'd prefer it if any larger events get run by me first, if you want them stickied, but feel free to pitch ideas. PM is the best way to reach me. Just so the board looks cleaner.


    There are loads of events currently under development, a territory change being one of them. So, keep suggesting ideas of where they could go, as long as there's a body of water nearby.


    Also, I recently got a Pm from Circusclown's rper, who's the new leader of the exiles, about whether or not I'd be okay with two Exiles poisoning the river. Since Riverclan is on an island, not everywhere will be infected, and some parts of the river will be more 'strongly' infected than others. Do you think it's a good idea? The side-effects of the poison are up to you, if you character goes in, what happens to them. Personally, I think it'd be great for character development.


    As for the tournament, I'm going to wrap that up quickly, as it was never really my thing, but you guys seemed to love it so it's not fair that you don't get your badges. c: There;s some time to edit forms if you need to add points on, but do so quickly. xD

    As for the poison in the river, I don't really mind the idea, but I think something like that did happen recently, right? With bloodclan? I could be mistaking this though, i believe it was in the territory before the move to the island / steamboat.
