    Flashfire smiled. "Suit yourself." he purred. "Hey, let's go in that thing!" He flicked his tail towards this hollow spinney thing. "Tilt a whirl, I think it is."

    Tilly ran across the carnival, where had her two-legs gone now?

    Ugh. Toms were so ignorant, she thought irritably. Madama Butterfly stalked away, slipping into the crowd of the haunted carnival.

    (1)Rainshade was drawn to the carnival from a sweet and tangy smell. She padded cautiously, scenting the air.

    Geko, the tabby and white-patched tom, glanced around once more. Pumpkins, there were pumpkins... huh he hadn't seen those in a long time!

    Pmpkin saw a couple and didn't hesitate to pretend to limp, and purred at their awws as the two twolegs gave Pumpkin a candy spider and half their hot dog.
