She was cold. Everything about her was cold. Once, a long, long time ago she was the sun, filled with warmth and joy, she had so much to give, so much to see and do. Oh, she was naive then, full of rose-tinted ideologies and a blind hope that everything in the future would work out, but it didn't. Nothing worked out for her. First, she heard the news in the RiverClan when she went to look for Spellbook. Her mother, Meenah, was gone, and that was only the first of the grief that would plague her. Her best friends, they could never be found and-and her father, her daddy, he was presumed dead.
Bitterness soon began to fill her heart and the jaguar threw herself into her work. She killed for a living, she killed for a warm place to sleep at night and guaranteed safety when she dropped a lifeless head in front of her client, but she killed for other reasons too. She murdered so others could be at peace, she slaughtered so that the world could be without criminals, but, but she lost herself as well. For all the good Temari did, she slowly lost her heart. And without a heart who was she? Just a weapon to be used? A tool to be thrown away when she did her job?
So that brought her back to HawkClan, back to home. Perhaps, perhaps she could find Freedomcub again, she could find Meenah and where she was if she was still... alive. It was a long shot, Temari was most likely far from saving but she would be damned if she didn't try to regain some balance in her life.
The dawn sky was clear, the first of the morning stars disappearing underneath the sun's golden rays. Birdsong was echoing throughout the emerald canopies. Everything was quiet, everything was so peaceful. The only disturbance came from an azure blue jaguar who made her way through tall, shifting grass. HawkClan, it felt so different, it stayed the same but things changed in it.
Nervousness chewed at her heart as she shakily put one paw over the border. She shouldn't be, Temari was never fearful, but yet, she was. So taking a deep breath, the jaguar gathered her wits and thoughts before pulling herself to full height. "I'm-I'm home, HawkClan, I've come back to re-join."[/justify]
