    All of a sudden, her right wing slipped through the air and the kitten fell a ways before catching herself. heart pounding, she tested her wings again and flew up again.

    Lua gulped, still beetroot red from Lynx keeping their tails entwined. Gently, she pried her tail away from his, but clearly it was in an act of reluctance. "O-okay..." Facing forwards, another flap, but this time from a different angle, sent her forwards. Lua continued to do this with a laugh, unaware of a tree nearby. A branch snagged on her wing and instantly blood spattered everywhere. Though she was already dead, there was nothing stopping her from getting injured and dying again, right? Lua yelped and went crashing to the ground. When she got there, she hid herself with her uninjured wing, sobbing.
