    -- the commonwealth

Inkpaw was weak. Weaker than he'd admit to anyone; and it was at this point he had come to face the fact that trying to survive by himself in the wasteland was only going to get him killed. He'd been on his own for a couple months now, after his only remaining family member was killed. He could hardly find food and his only choice was to run from any danger, too exhausted to put up a fight.

He had been wandering for days before he scented some other cats, and was now dragged himself towards what seemed to be a vault. Inkpaw's usual optimistic personality was currently absent, but who could blame him? One look at the wasteland could make just about anyone depressed.

After a good 15 minute walk, the scent of other animals began to get stronger. He heard faint voices which seemed to be not far off, but when he opened his mouth to call out something, his dry, scratchy throat just produced a silent groan. [/fancypost]

The male would hear this groan and pad over, to see another apprentice aged animal, Feline however. Not that it mattered, he didn't care at least. He didn't feel that his word mattered anyway so, he may as well talk if no one else were to. He would carry a water bottle with him at all times, one of his personal pros on his pros and cons list for himself. He would place the bottle in front of the other and nod in a barely unoticeable way. "c-could I have your name and b-business p-please..?" he would ask quietly, looking at the other through his green tinted wielding goggles.

    -- the commonwealth

Inkpaw ignored his instinct to turn tail and start running as fast as he could from the approaching canine. Whenever he crossed paths with one, usually, they'd try to rip his fur off; however, this German shepherd seemed nice, and wasn't growling and barking like other dogs. "I'm Inkpaw, I come seeking shelter, and possibly home..." His voice rasped, and he trailed off, slightly embarassed. Inkpaw was not the one to admit defeat in any situation, but now, now was an exception. The tom looked longingly at the water bottle. "May I?"[b] he asked sheepishly, blinking at the refreshment.[/fancypost]

  • Jagger bounded over to finally check out what the commotion was about, he had heard the rasping and had got frightened, not that he would ever admit this of course. He only approached once Unleashed had arrived, he felt safe in the bright German Shepard's paws, the corgi had finally settled in.

"Want something to eat?" he politely offered the feline as he shrugged off his newest find, a blue backpack he had found next to some dead tiger in their previous territory, the pup had put it to good use and hoped the other didn't mind. His one ear flopped over and he couldn't see anymore, giving it a quick huff to blow it away and taking out some chicken kababs and tuna in a tuba ware.

If there was anything that the newcomer wanted food wise, he probably had it.

    completely forgets to reply

He would give a shakey nod to respond to both, before looking at Jagger as the younger pup ran over. He didn't know how the child could be so friendly, he guessed it must come natural to him or something.

    -- the commonwealth

Inkpaw gave a grateful look to both animals, and began to carefully lap the water up, making sure only to take as much as he needed and not a drop more. He then looked up at the corgi and shook his head, "I'm fine for now, I was just rather thirsty, but thank you" he dipped his head in respect. "I didn't catch your names"[/fancypost]

He would blink at the statement before answering quietly. "Unleashedpaw.." He would state quietly.

  • Jagger would pack the food items away, a little bit hurt, but he hid it excellently like always. The canine slung the backpack back where it was supposed to be and returned the respectful nod."Oh okay, it's no problem!" he smiled, wondering why Unleashedpaw had said so little, wasn't he the deputy? He needed to sort things out, not do as little as he could, but it was all right, Jag would speak for him.

"I heard something about joining, if you want to you definitely can, isn't that right Uleashed?" he made sure to ask a higher rank before making a fool of himself, and this way they could get stuff done, even with minimal talk on the German Shepard's side.

  • [fancypost bgcolor=; bordercolor=; borderwidth=0px; border-top: 0px transparent; border-left: 2px solid COLOR OR HEX CODE HERE; border-bottom: 0px transparent; border-right: 0px transparent; height: auto; width: 300px; overflow: auto; margin-top: 6px;][justify][size=9pt]

He would look at Jagger as the young pup packs the food away, and listen closely to the question. He would nod as he answers. "y-yes, there is n-nothing against you j-joining..." he would manage to get out, taking a large, quiet breath after finishing.

Inkpaw nodded, glancing at both the canines. "Nice to meet you both". Inkpaw was starting to feel like his self again, now replenished. "If i am to join, I should atleast catch something to bring back.." The young tom said, studying his surroundings. He had never really been near this area before, so he had no idea what the dangers and prey were like. [/fancypost]

  • "No need, there is plenty of food at home, its top dangerous to hunt outside now." he replied with a brief nod, there were monsters outside, and it was a miracle that the feline had survived this long. The pup quickly glanced at Unleashed, before inching a bit closer to him and looking up at the giant creature. "Our leader will be happy to see you, could you lead the way UnleashedPaw?" he prodded a response out of the German shepherd as he stood up, barely holding the weight of the backpack.

Wow, he was kind of freaked out at the idea of talking so much. He would nod in agreement. It was very dangerous outside, radiation and raiders and all that good, well in this case bad stuff. "y-yes..." he would say, starting to walk. He didn't know where they would be exactly, but may as well try to find them.
