Well, they didn't fall. Just merged with another clan. But they had disappeared so easily. A whole tribe just gone like that. Only a few remembered the rich history it carried. Carrotcake was far too young to remember it. When he was born the clan had already fallen. He only had his parents to tell him stories of it. Subaru and Mikasa had both been leaders of the clan so they had many of them to tell. One of those were how it once flooded. They had to retreat to their old castle territory and Mikasa had almost died from drowning. That's how Carrotcake felt right now. He walked beside his brother and his father feeling like he was choking on his nerves. He imagined it was like how Mikasa felt suffocating in the water. But he couldn't let anyone know of his nervousness. They had wanted to join a clan for awhile now. They had been wandering for far too long and he knew his family wasn't comfortable with that. He could just feel it. Personally, Carrotcake loved it. He could wander anywhere. No rules and no punishment. Even if he did something bad he would always have his family to back him up. Even if Saltedcaramel was in one of those moods where he didn't want to spend any time with Carrot he knew his brother still liked him and would protect him. Sometimes Salted would even come by to cuff Carrotcake's ears with a paw. Some could see it as harsh but Carrot knew it was just how his brother showed he cared. They both had their quirks and Carrotcake's being he was too stubborn and emotional. So instead of doing something to calm his nerves he would suck it up. He wouldn't ruin this for his brother. For his father. He would just play it off. He did that pretty well. Just smile and wave. Maybe sprinkle in a few facts about yourself here and there. Yeah, that would work. So he would slow to a stop at the border, his muscles tense but his dark brown eyes soft. His coat was a light grey, similar to his father's. The dog's form complimented this color with slender features; sleek muscles adorning his bones, a fluffy tail, and a long face. He looked like a fox despite being a Kai Ken. But his handsome appearance also suited his troublemaker personality. Well, he wouldn't try to cause trouble just yet. He had a reputation to uphold. So she would raise his head once he slowed to a stop at the border. "Hi! I'm Carrotcake and this is the fam. We're here to join," he spoke with a smile on his muzzle, gesturing at his father and brother when he said 'the fam' so no one would be confused as to how they were related. [ i have a lot of muse oops. basically a pretty dude showed up to join with his fam from the tribe of ancient stones. please wait for the other two to post before responding :^D ] [/fancypost] |
