keira doesn't greatly differ from other ocelots, at first glance. she has a fluffy, kitten-like pelt that could only be described as out of control. her fur is soft and light, with the classic white undersides dusted with gold. one point that aids her in standing out is her vast variety of spots, blotches, bands and stripes, that appear as if they were painted on in dark chocolate paint as she sprinted past. she boasts notably more and darker patterns than her siblings, staying true to the meaning of her name - little dark-haired one. in addition to that comes her smaller height and shorter length, in limbs, body and tail. for a small kitten, she is broad-shouldered and slightly tubby, with a sturdy build that can't be knocked over easily, all of which helps mask her size.
keira has very rounded features; her head is virtually a sphere, in addition to her chubby belly and large paws. her nose is large and pink, while her ears appear too big for her head. she has circular, river blue eyes, and curved whiskers. her hair around her face is feathery and ends in tufts at her ears and cheeks. she has black markings even around her face, in contrast to the white outlining her eyes and muzzle.
as keira grows, her markings will darken to a posh ebony, and stand out more upon her honey-topped body. the white of her undersides will blend into the gold, and she will lose her childish tubbiness in exchange for a slender and lean figure. she will grow up and out through various growth spurts, topping even average size. her head will catch up to her ears, though she will keep on her rudolph-like nose. her pelt will thicken out, losing its silkiness for a tough, protective coat. her legs will become spottier, while her tail bears thick stripes, and her torso shows off long rosettes. her sturdy figure will stay with her as well, though her shoulders will narrow slightly. her eyes, once a deep blue, will gradually fade to a golden not unlike her mother's.

keira, at first glance, can come across as shy, or awkward. she's no social butterfly, and keeps to herself. she's quiet and rarely the first to strike up a conversation, and only occasionally takes part. she isn't eager to be part of a team, and is difficult to cooperate with. a leader rather than follower, she makes a plan and prefers everyone stick to it. in simpler words, it's her way or the highway; she works best on her own in the end. she has an independent, free spirit, and hates nothing more than to be bossed around by her peers; though when it comes to laws and rules, she's no trouble maker.
keira has always been carried away by her own fantasies and ideals. she lives in her own world, and would rather not share it. she is a lover of books and stories, even aspiring to write her own tales. she gets carried away amongst the fictional characters and good plots, and doesn't put the book down until it's finished. call her a nerd, but she takes the title on with pride.

Plots
heart in the ice box; 6-10 months old
young, adventurous keira is desperate for love as strong as her parents. she meets another child and takes an immediate liking to him, and eventually asks him out. he agrees, and the child is overjoyed - though soon finds out that he has no feelings for her at all. at first, she is heartbroken, but then realizes that it was a ridiculous childish crush. she feels stupid for falling head over heels for some boy, and swears to herself that she'll never fall in love again.
following in her footsteps; 10-15 months old
keira is a lonely soul at this stage, who has trouble making friends and fitting in. she views her mother as the respected and well-liked leader of bloodclan, always surrounded by loyal followers. she decides that she would like to be such a figure when she is older, and strives to be just like her mother, even acting out her personality. after a while, she realizes she's doing even worse than she was in the first place, and returns to her usual self, deciding that if she ever is to be leader, she'll do it her own way.
home is where the heart is; 15-20 months old
with her ever-growing thirst for knowledge, keira suddenly takes off, her own curiosity overwhelming her about foreign clans. she travels around for a few months, gradually growing more and more homesick as she realizes that she misses her family and friends. she returns swiftly, having discovered a few things throughout her travels and eager to spread word around any who will listen.
the lady warrior; 15-20 months old
following a particular incident involving sexism towards females, keira is enraged and becomes a strong feminist. she founds a group inside of bloodclan promoting feminism and encourages many of her clanmates, of either gender, to join it. she hosts regular meetings and the group offers support to anyone who's been put down, especially by sexism. the group's aim is to achieve and keep up equality between all genders. though originally aimed to thwart sexism, they grow to support all and any and aim to put a stop to all discrimination. they host fun games and mini events for all of bloodclan.
