  • (All good!)

The dog yelped as it's nose was clawed and retreated a ways, rubbing it's bleeding snoz. It glared at her and snarled, advancing once more until another small black cat crossed in front of it. It smelled the blood and noticed her limp. It decided to take off after her instead. Mossshadow moaned again as she slowly became semiconscious. Her head hurt so much it dulled all other pain. She could hear her heartbeat in her ears. All other sounds were muted so that she couldn't make out words. "Dog" was all she murmured as she lost consciousness once more.

  • Oh Star Clan, why couldn't she help everyone? Praying Littlewind would get away safely, she turned back to Mossshadow and got to work. Cobwebs and goldenrod were both easy to find, since goldenrod grew so well in the moors. Spiderfoot was fairly certain it helped. She'd rather have horsetail im case of infection, but begars can't be choosers. Chewing the goldenrod down into a moist poultice, she aimed to press it across the wound and wrap it with spider webs to stop the bleeding.

She couldn't panic now, with so much going on already. For all she knew, Swiftpaw's life was in a couple cats' paws, including her's. She gently pressed the cobwebs down on her wound, not wanting to hurt her but using enough pressure to help slow the bleeding. She glanced back and forth between Mudsplash, Briarpatch, and Swiftpaw anxiously.

"Starclan will help, won't they?" she asked in response to Briarpatch's worry about healing Swiftpaw. Honeypaw always had faith in her warrior ancestors—even more than ever in times like this.

  • [fancypost bgcolor=transparent; borderwidth=0px; width:500px;][justify][font=arial][size=9pt]Otterbrook blinked down at the injured cat, unusually business-like. "Okay, Swiftstorm... can you feel my claw poking you?" He prodded at her shoulder very gently. He had to be sure, though. He'd seen paralyzed cats before, and... it wasn't pretty. He gave a nod of thanks to Honeypaw.

"Y-yes." she held still like her mentor ordered her, didn't move only to breathe. The scent of dogs still lingered and she was frozen terrified.
"Im sorry, it's all my fault. I just went out to the border to see the river and the d-dogs where there."

Fur had been ripped away and left uncomfortable raw patches in its place, but adrenaline continued to will her to run forward. It wasn't long at all before the tiny black warrior's form could be seen darting across the moor and closer to the wounded. As she slowed to a shaky walk, she felt herself stumble and nearly fall over. She'd... probably messed up her claws more than she would have liked. The little feline took a seat near Mossshadow and sucked in a few breaths, her orange eye dull.

"W-w-w-will... Th-th-they b-b-be o-o-okay?" She breathed out, her chest heaving and her limbs shaking. "We... N-n-need to... B-b-br-bring M-M-Mossshadow t-to... Otterbrook."

  • "Mossshadow should be fine. She might have cracked something, it's hard to say, but other than that the bites aren't as bad as they could've been," Spiderfoot explained. "She needs rest. Do you think you could get her back to camp Littlewind? Swiftpaw-she's my apprentice, if there's anything I can do I want to help her."
