Shadow & Summer: Summer's Having Kits!

    Shadow and Summer had always loved each other. It seemed to be written in the stars. Shadow had been a scary, mean ShadowClan warrior that nobody wanted to be with, except Summer. She mooned over him, even when her brother made stinging comments she didn't fail to love the vicious villain. Then he changed and they could be together as loners. The battle in WindClan had brought near death to Shadow, and so he changed so he and Summer could be together forever. Now, they lived in the forest, by a small stream, and Summer would bear his kits soon. Then they could start a family and live in the world, with just them, their kits, and the great life StarClan had given Shadow.

    Summer was laying on her side next to Shadow.
    Leaf-fall's air smelt crisp and clean, and the first snow would be around the corner...
    It frightend the she-cat, for food would be scarce.
    Shifting her paw's to curl around her swollen stomach she looked at her mate...
    "I wonder what they look like?" She said with a sigh.
    "Do they have your fur and my eyes? or my pattens and your personality?"
    The wind whispered through out the den in a most musical tone...
    It was just a matter of time.
    The two ex-clanners were going to have a family and everything would be as a perfect dream...
    The haunting of the past would be over.

    "Whatever they look like, they'll be perfect," Shadow said, smiling at his mate. He curled his tail around her belly, purring deeply. They were starting over and everything would be perfect.

    Summer purred.
    "Absoltly." She said licking the top of shadows head.
    "And what's the best thing of raising this family with out the aid of the clan's is that they will never know blood shed..."
    The she-cat sighed.
    "The curse will be over, Light'sout is probley dead from greed and that will end the tom blood in our family, Now it's up to me and you to keep our kit's from turning..."
    Summer didn't finish as she looked at a stay rock in there den...

    "Of couse i trust you,Shadow...I knew i could trust you from the day my brother set us up..."
    Summer accidently let the 'Set us up' Part slip...

    Shadow looked at her with his penetrating yellow/orange gaze. "Set you up?" he asked in shock, rising to a sitting position. "What do you mean?"

    Summer didn't want to tell him...
    She then sighed.
    "Lightsout knew i was sad...When you became a warrior Lightsout had a great feeling that you had power that could help Betrayal clan achieve greatness over the clans.."
    Summer looked off to the side...
    "But of cause if he would of asked you himself you might decline, so he had me talk you into it..."
    She also sat up and looked at her mate.
    "Lightsout didn't leave because he felt threatend by you...He left because i would never be happy with him around me..."
    She then smiled.
    "I never planned for us to fall in love, but i guess i was afraid of a new change, And i realized that the resin i was sad was that i never knew how to love."
    Summer purred and Curled her tail around her paws.
    "And all i need is someone who cares about how I am and not who i was."
    "I think Lightsout knew i would fall for you..."

    Shadow listened to her story intently, then he curled his tail protectively around her and purred. "Well, that's all in the past, so it doesn't matter. We have each other and the kits, soon, so everything will be fine," he said softly, licking the top of her head.

    Summer laughed.
    "Yes, of coarse." She purred happily.
    "The kits will be here soon."
    The she-cat sighed and looked out side of there den...
    Summer stud up.
    "Im getting hungry..." she said

    Summer was laying down in the back of the den...
    "I was thinking..." She said as she saw the rabbit and stud up.
    "When they get old enough, we could take them to big city..."

    Shadow looked puzzled. "Why?" he asked. "The only things there are annoying Twolegs, barking dogs, and lazy kittypets. What is there for us there?"


    OOC-Why did you take over your sister's account?

    OOC: i took over my brothers account...This is his sister, he spent and hour telling me about his posted topics...Do you mindif i take his place?


    "I thought it would be a change from all the forist cats..." She said. leaning down and taking a bite out of the rabbits shoulder.

    OOC-Right, I meant your brother. I don't mind :)


    Shadow nudged her. "But you and me....We've made our home here; why would we want to live there? The kits could get hurt! We're perfectly happy here, and we've got a home, territory, plenty of prey, and a den here, whereas when we go to the big city, there's nothing there for us, the kits could get hurt, there are dogs, Twolegs, monsters, and much more that could endanger ourselves. And we'd have to start all over," he stated, taking a tiny mouthful out of the rabbit and chewing it thoughtfully.

    Summer smiled...
    "Alright." She said.
    "It is beautiful here, we don't need to go anywere."
    Finishing her share of the rabbit she moved back to her nest...
    She yawned...
    "There's now danger here...The kits will be safe with me and you around...Right?"

    A sigh of relief whooshed out of Shadow's lungs. He padded toward Summer and nuzzled her, crawling into the nest with her and licked her muzzle. "I'll always be here," he whispered.

    Summer started to purr softly...
    "I know you will shadow, your the perfet father for these Kit's and they will be just as perfet as you are."
    She suddenly felt a little tired...
    "I just wish they didn't take all the enregy out of me." Summer pouted and looked at her bellie.
    "There gonna be a hand full, and I wonder how many there are."


    OOC: Sorry for not posting in a bit, i have a lot of work to do, me finaly getting out of high school is on the line...
    And...Im going to be Sixteen on the 8th!

    Shadow smiled at her. "Don't worry, I'll help you take care of them. No, they'll be as beautiful as you," he said, licking her cheek.

    Summer smiled.
    I know you will, Shadow."
    Still looking at her bellie she said-
    "Noble,strong,handsom,beautiful,kind,caring,faithful,brave,knowing..."
    Looking up to Shadow.
    "The perfect mix for our kit's! A little of you and me." She purred.
