  • After awhile more of waiting she went to go take a shower, stepping into the hot water and slowly relaxing as she sighed softly, letting her hair get soaked and press against her skin as she closed her eyes, trying to to imagine how this would all play out.

  • Meeko glanced at the bike near the mailbox. His eyes narrowed and he went over. He sighed, getting on and practicing. He got it pretty quick for a 'used-to-be dog'.

  • Eventually getting out, Evalynn climbed out, wrapping a towel around herself as she exited the bathroom, going to her room and starting to get dressed. What she didn't realize was that someone was watching her, standing in the corner behind her, silent, waiting. She was still humming softly, seeming oblivious to the person behind her.

  • Meeko finished his last lap around the block before pulling in. He sighed and came inside, not seeing anyone. But he did hear faint humming, so he followed it.

  • Just before she dropped her towel to get dressed, the man suddenly lunged forward, wrapping his arms around her as she squealed, suddenly lashing out and struggling, screaming as the two fought. He groaned when she began to struggle, the man only held tighter while fumbling for a cloth out of his pocket.

  • Hearing the screams, Meeko bolted for Evalynn's room. His eyes widened at the sight. He glared, he threw a brutal punch the middle of the mans, back, hoping to tackle him and pin him down. To choke him.

  • The man let out a pained howl like yell as his grip dropped Evalynn. She dropped and scrambled away, pulling her towel closer as she watched the man turn to fight off the newcomer.

  • Once Meeko had gotten him on his back, he took the chance to tackle and choke. "Why are you here?!" He barked, squeezing violently around the mans throat. "You have no right to lay hands on her!"

  • The man struggled a bit, all but smacking his hands against Meeko's arms in attempt to breathe, unable to say anything. Evalynn however, was unsure of what to do, sitting there in the middle of the room staring at them. She was scared out of her mind, her heart racing in her chest. This man, defending her, there was no longer any doubt in her mind. This was Meeko, the dog she rescued as a pup and raised herself. The animal she had called best friend through everything. And here he was, like a fantasy Prince Charming in his shining armor, coming to her rescue once more. She had all but forgotten that the man he was chocking had tried to drug and kidnap her, all she could think, was that she couldn't of been happier to of seen a strange, yet familiar face in all her life as she suddenly snapped back to reality, going over and trying to pull Meeko back so as to not kill the man. "Meeko, stop!" She said, her tone torn between gentle and scared.

  • Meeko gave a cold glare and eased his hands away. He couldn't disobey her orders, he never did. He was afraid of what would happen if he ever did. But he didn't move from his spot on the mans chest. This man needed to be dealt with. Meeko was doing only what he ever knew, protecting.

  • With one hand still clutching her towel to her chest, her other hand resting against Meeko's bicep as she glanced down to the man. She hesitated before reaching down with the hand from Meeko's arm, pulling off the mask, but she didn't recognize the man under it. She furrowed her brows, gently resting that hand to Meeko's hands, signaling him to let yo a bit more so the man can breathe again enough to talk. Soon as he was done gasping, he managed to bark out. "Get off me dude!! Can't I just prank her!?!" He asked, he obviously was around their age, yet he was unfamiliar to Evalynn. She glanced to Meeko, her eyes begging him to keep quiet and to not move from him, afraid he would lunge her again if Meeko did. She turned back to this stranger, speaking up this time. "Prank is a childish word for attempted kidnapping... I don't know you, why are you in my house?" She asked, her tone stern and angry, a tone Meeko never would've heard from her from before yesterday.

  • Meeko didn't move, it was not a given order. He sat, mad gaze locked on the stranger. The tone of Evalynn's voice was new to him, making him take a quick glance over. But he agreed with her and thought nothing much of it. So then he turned back to the strange boy, not believing a word he had to say to save himself.

  • The boy just looked at them, a bit of fear in his eyes seeing he was caught. Finally he began to try and struggle a bit again, but this time it was Evalynn who used her free hand, and gripped his face firmly with a stern look. "Tell me why you're in my house!" she said loudly at him, clearly making him fearful as he wondered what she would do to him. He tried to stutter out an answer, muffled by her hand a moment till she released him and he repeated himself with a defeated tone. "For him... not you.."

  • Meeko wasn't expecting that all. If he wanted Meeko, why not go after first? That didn't matter to Meeko right now though. He wanted to know what this boy wanted. Why was he important to the stranger? Meeko had no idea who he was, but he had feeling the boy knew more of him. How? Meeko then finally spoke up. "I have no business with you. Nor do I even know you..." Meeko stated. He glared harder at the stranger. "What is it you want with me exactly?"

  • "The girl, was roger you to come willingly. They need you back... They didn't realize it at first, that it would be a perminent issue." He explained, but his words made no sense to Evalynn as she glanced over to Meeko. Perminently? Does that mean he'd be human.. For the rest of his life!?
