    She wanted this to be a dream, to be able to feel his soft, thick fur against her cheek. She wanted to cry out for him, but he was already here, she didn't have to use her eyes anymore, she could feel it was him by the way he hugged her.

    After what felt like eternity, she could hear a car starting up and drive off, probably the policemen. She curled up a bit more against Meeko. She had eventually stopped crying, having already cried out most of her tears earlier when she first found him missing.

    Meekos grip on her never seemed to loosen. Keeping her safe in his arms. He wondered, how would it be now that he was like this? Would he be a human forever?

    After awhile, it was like old habits die hard as she fell asleep in his arms, comforted by the familiar embrace he had despite being a human now. She would most likely freak out all over again when she woke up, but in that moment, she looked, relaxed and happy even.

    Meeko yawned. He lifted his head only to see Evalynn sleeping R peacefully in his arms. He gave a tiny smile and looked over at her bed. He snatched her blanket and eased her down next to him. He covered her up and hugged her gently, falling asleep next to her, like always.

    She blinked a bit, looking up at this stranger beside her, holding her. She was about to scream and scramble back, away from him and to safety. But she paused, recollecting what happened earlier as she slowly gazed around. Her heart thumped in her chest as she blinked, trying to think about what to do.

    Looking back over at him, she noticed he was awake. A little confused by the glare, she hesitated before speaking up quietly. "What happened to you?" She asked quietly, seemingly out of nowhere as she stared at him.

    Meeko looked over, seeing Evalynn made him relax. "I don't know..." He said slowly. He stared at her, seeing it replay in his head. He blinked. "I was taken, put in a lab. On one of those tables. The man, he came up and poked my leg with a needle." He paused. "Now I'm here..."

    She frowned a little at the information. This made no sense...
    Why would they kidnap a small horse sized wolf just to gove him... What if it wasn't defuse or medicine... That's it! That had to of been it! "Tell
    Me I'm dreaming right now..." She said softly, ever slowly trying to sit up.

    "What? Oh uh n-no no.... I-I was being sarcastic you didn't..." She paused, glancing outside and realizing it was nearly night time. She sighed, glancing briefly to him again before moving to get up.

    She went and grabbed clothes, seemingly self conscious today as she went to the bathroom, closing the door and changing. She needed new clothes, most of hers were well passed worn out, she never wore them, or she simply had outgrown. But she came out in a tank top and shorts, heading to the kitchen to get food. She was so used to Meeko as a dog she didn't even tell him to follow or if he was hungry as she just went to get food.

    She went and grabbed something small to eat, not even really paying attention as she went around in a bit of a haze.
