  • The man left just as the mother was about to give birth. He returned with towels as Meeko moved the first 2 pups near the mothers mouth so she could lick them clean. The man laid the towels out and Meeko helped. "My name is Jonathan by the way. Thanks for helping." Meeko nodded. "Meeko, and your welcome." He helped the last pup as they started to feed and the mother rested. "Meeko? That's....new." Meeko shrugged and finally looked to the man. They sat in silence for a bit, Meeko watching the pups as they finished, only three. One, the little runt, smelt Meeko and wandered over. Meeko gave a gentle smile and scooped him up, warming him by hugging him against his chest. "He seems to like you..." The man grinned, Meeko just nodded. The man cleared his throat, you know, I'm never home alot during the day, I'll pay you to watch them." He said. Meeko's head shot up. "What? Really?!" A smile grew, he could surprise Evalynn with the money he earned. "Ok," He took out his phone, still holding the pup. "Here's my number."

  • "What kind of job?" "Excuse me?" "I said, what kind of job? What are you good at?" He explained as he watched her. She thought a moment, slowly closing the door slightly before undoing the chain before opening the door a bit more. "Uh well... I'm a quick study... I can learn just about anything in a matter of days mostly.." She said softly and he seemed to smile big. He turned a little, digging into his pocket before pulling out his card, handing it to her as she gingerly took it and looked at it. "Give me a call.." He paused, realizing he never even did introductions. "Evalynn." She said softly as he nodded and smiled. "Charles Hughberg." He replied, giving a invisible tip of a hat before turning and leaving as she withdrew back inside and closed the door.

  • "Ok, bye." Meeko waved, honestly not wanting to leave the pup he had gotten attached to. But he pedaled off anyway, smiling. Evalynn would be so proud of him. Meeko was on full time, he would get a list and keys tomorrow.

  • She gazed down at the card again, confused. He dressed so nicely... Could that mean she might one day as well? She turned and went to find something to do while waiting for Meeko to come back from his ride.

  • Meeko rode home happily, not taking any time to gaze around at the sights like he normally did. He was to excited about his new job. Once he got home he threw his bike to the side and rushed in, getting ready for bed, it was almost time. He just wanted the night to fly like it was nothing.

  • Meeko sighed, hungry. He stepped into the kitchen only wearing shorts, he hoped Evalynn didn't mind. He was hot and didn't feel like putting a shirt on. He was a bit toned, like how he was back when he was a dog. Muscular and tall. Meeko slid into the kitchen, wondering what to eat. He wondered if they had anymore of that brown stuff. Chocolate.

  • She glanced up at the movement, blinking a bit that he wasn't wearing a shirt. She blushed faintly and looked away a bit. "How was your ride?" She asked softly, still looking at the card.

  • Meeko looked up at Evalynn's question. "It was nice, I guess." He came over and sat to Evalynn, eyes catching the card. "What's that?" He wondered if he should just surprise her with the money, or tell.

  • "Umm... A neighbor apparently. He came by looking like he wanted to kill someone but turns out he just isn't a fan of loud people. So try not to bounce around." She said, smiling softly as if joking.

  • "Noted." He looked back towards the kitchen. "Do we have anymore brown sticks?" He asked looking back towards Evalynn. Of course he meant chocolate. "I'm hungry."

  • Meeko gave a small smile and rushed over to the named location. "Thanks." He pulled it out and ripped it open, loving the smell. "What are you gonna have?"

  • "Umm, I'm, I'm not hungry. Thanks." She said, offering a small smile before getting up and heading to the bedroom. "I'm gonna take a shower don't eat all that you'll get a tummy ache." She said, not really thinking as she closed the door to the bathroom.

  • "Ok." Meeko said, filling himself up. Then he walked over to the sink and cleaned off, even wetting his hair a bit to cool off. He then flopped onto the couch, letting out a yawn. He sprawled out, not realizing he was this tired. Today had been a bit long for him. Meeko just wanted the best for Evalynn. The whole human thing was a bit stressful, but he hid his emotion well, the bad ones at least. He stayed strong for Evalynn, that's all that mattered. The walk of thought brought Meeko into a restful deep sleep.

  • After getting out of the shower, she went and pulled on a simple underwear and grabbed a large t-shirt she had gotten for Meeko before they moved. She sighed softly and went to the mattress in the corner, lowering herself basically to the floor before crawling in and curling up, pulling her hair into a bun atop her head before laying down. She sighed softly and stared at the wall before slowly falling asleep.

  • It seemed like only seconds ago Meeko had fallen asleep. He gave a tired groan as he heard his phone go off. Jonathan. Meeko silently got dressed and slid outside, riding his bike off to the large house.

  • Evalynn stirred slightly when he left, but she didn't wake up quite yet as she just curled up a bit in the bed. She sighed softly in her light sleep before starting to dream again.

  • After awhile there was a loud knock on the door, startling Evalynn. She blinked tiredly, looking towards her alarm clock, reading 2:53 AM. She groaned softly, slowly getting up and blindly grabbing a blanket as she went to the door. She made sure the chain was place but she didn't check the peephole to see who it was. What greeted her as the familiar face of the man from earlier in the afternoon. "Hi.. so sorry to bug you this late but... can you.. help me?" He managed, she glanced over more and saw he was holding some man who was slumped over. She was rather confused. "We went drinking and my buddy had a bit to much. Can you help me real fast and get him to my apartment, I got the key and I just need you to open it." He explained. Evalynn glanced behind her, looking for Meeko. When she couldn't see him she felt a bit uneasy before she turned back and nodded slightly. She closed the door and undid the chain, slowly moving out the door to help him out.
