Meeko nodded. "Yea." He huffed and stood. "Need help with anything? He asked, basically finished.

"Packing my stuff and everything else.." She muttered, sighing softly and looking around. She eventually got up and went to get some boxes and tape. She started working on her clothing.
-
Meeko sighed and helped her silently. He folded her clothes and let her back them.
-
She ended up saving a weeks worth of clothing outfits to get her through cause she could always wash and mix match the items to last till time that they move. She thanked him quietly before taping the box shut and labeling it before gettin more boxes and heading to the kitchen.
-
Meeko grabbed his box and placed it with hers. He sighed, remebering the first time they had moved. Back when Evalynn's parents were still around.
-
Evalynn moved around quietly, not really bothering to think about anything else besides moving on. She needed a fresh start, with Meeko and herself. Away from all this scientist nonesensense.
-
Meeko started to load the truck without being asked. He didn't let stress bother him.
-
(Wanna time skip to them having already moved?)
-
(sure)
-
Evalynn looked around the small apartment, the counter sugars in the kitchen looked like granite as she smiled faintly as she wandered around.
-
Meeko looked around, getting a feel for the place. This was all new to him, he hadn't moved in a long while, it seemed weird. But it was worth keeping them safe.
-
After awhile of looking around, she went to the bedroom and glanced to the single mattress on the floor in the corner. She sighed softly, frowning a bit with a shake of her head. She went and sat down on it, sighing softly, glancing around the room before slowly laying down. She hadn't told Meeko, but she hadn't been sleeping well recently. After everything that happened she had constant nightmares and would wake up in the middle of the night and stay awake for hours while he slept. She couldn't help the nightmares as they plagued her, but then again, could she really tell him? He would worry for her and there would be nothing he could do.
-
Meeko laid on the couch, legs crossed and hands behind his head in a relaxed position. He stared up at the ceiling, lost in a deep thought.
-
Slowly she began to fall asleep, exhaustion taking over from the constant stress in her life recently between fearing losing Meeko again and then moving and the money. She didn't tell him, but they had just barely covered the cost of the apartment. And she wasn't sure if she'd be able to get a job to cover it.
-
Meeko finally raised from the couch and went outside. He grabbed his bike, climbing on and pedaling off. Some of the new town was familiar, only by scent though. Other spots were a mystery. But he didn't worry for that, he just looked.
-
She woke slightly when she heard the door open then close again. She figured Meeko might've just gone off Riding again. It seemed he liked to do that now. Maybe she could try and get him something better than a bike.. But that would have to wait a long time till she had a steady income and saved up enough after bulls and such.
-
"Hey kid!" A man called, causing Meeko to stop, he was off in some snobby rich neighborhood. He realized that when he stopped to get a good look around. He looked over, seeing the stranger wave him over. "You mind helping me with something?" He asked as Meeko pedaled up to the man, getting off of his bike. Meeko was never good with other people, but he let his mind give this one a chance in trust. Something he never did. "No sir." He replied kindly. "Ok, come on back here with me." The man waved, over back into his large house.
-
After what felt like awhile, there was a loud banging at the door, making Evalynn jump from her nap as she sat up and looked around. She blinked, waiting a moment before the loud knocking went off again. She slowly got up, heading to the door and peeking through the peep hole. When she saw it was a man in a type of suite, making her curious on why someone would dress that way in this neighborhood. She silently slipped the chain lock into place before opening the door. "Hello?"
-
"I hate to ask a stranger this...it's kind of embarrassing..." The man led him through the house. Meeko was amazed at the looks of the house, but something sparked is alert on high. The scent of another animal. Meeko held it together and just followed the man. "I got a dog the other day...turns out she's pregnant...and I'm not sure how to help deliver." Meeko nodded, then he saw the whimpering German Shepherd. He didn't hesitate to kneel down next to her and pet her head. She oddly warmed up to him quickly, she shuffled closer and gave a pain filled huff. Yes, this dog was very pregnant. The man chuckled. "Yea, I think you can handle this." Meeko stroked her back and she started panting. "Need anything?" He asked. "Some towels." Meeko replied.
-
The man turned to look at her, his hair slicked back to a neat shine, his face square and near without a scruff to his jaw. His piercing dark brown eyes looked black as he stared at her, pausing a moment before clearing his throat quickly. "Sorry. I hate to interrupt your morning I just..." He trailed off, quickly clearing his throat before continuing. "I heard you were moving in. I was originally coming to... Well you see.. My last neighbor was a bit... Loud, you see.... I was just... Coming here to see if... You would be..."
"The same? No I-I'm not loud. I actually will most likely be gone for work once I get a new job or two..." She interrupted softly, watching him. He seemed to clearly relax at her explanation.
