    Eveningflash gasped in surprise. "Leopardsnout! This is...hardly fair! I'm your daughter - and I'm a medicine cat!" she yowled in her defense, pulling away from the tom. Eveningflash let out a sharp, shrill yowl in the hope that someone would hear her. She was close to the trees that surrounded camp - maybe someone in camp would hear her. The oddly-coloured medicine cat narrowed her eyes. "Would Harewind have wanted you to attack me?"


    Shadowfoot chuckled. "He'll be like me one day. Maybe even deputy." he purred, rasping a tongue affectionately over Greykit's ear. "It feels good to be a family again. Honestly, it does." he purred, tail lashing behind him.     the tom had been sitting alone, minding his own business. he smiled at a clan mate as they passed by, but his eyes were dull. the shine in his dandelion eyes was gone, and had been for the last few weeks after his mother's death. his personality seemed to be almost back to normal, as he was smiling again and the skip in his step had returned, but he was still not anywhere close to happy. acornfrost's eyes were evidence of this. they usually shone win a kind, soft glow, but today that expression was no where to be found. He wasn't sure if it would ever return.


    acornfrost twitched his ears, peering around camp for his sister. she was the only one who would really understand his feelings. it wasn't unusual not to find her in the camp, but a shiver ran through acornfrost's body at her absence. the tom stood, his head swiftly scanning the camp. he told himself everything was fine... But he decided to take a walk around the perimeter of camp anyway.

    oh okay haha I was just assuming that both of acorn and evening's parents wouldn't die on the same day... that was just sort of a filler post anyway. The important part is that he went for a walk out of camp. i'm gonna have him find evening flash and leap ordinate first if that's okay (after he's dead of course... or maybe in the moment of his death. which would you guys rather?)

    The femme rested her head on her paws, her spring eyes following the paws of other cats who walked by her. she wasn't really looking for anyone in particular... was she? though it did seem like she was waiting for something... or maybe someone. Subconsciously, her brain searched for fluffy paws, the color of snow after it had been on the ground for a considerable amount of time. or maybe the color of the paws was more like that of a storm cloud looming in the distance before a squall. the she cat sighed, licking a paw.

    Eveningflash's eyes grew wide. She tore away her jaws, only to tear open the already dead tom's neck. Eveningflash stared at him in horror, then she gingerly shook her head. Scarlet drops of Leopardsnout's blood shot from her mouth. Oh, Sky Runners. I'm the monster, not him. she thought. Would Sharkstar be angry at her? Maybe. Probably. Without even thinking to wash her mouth and paws, she took her father by the scruff and dragged him back to camp. Once she got there, his limp body was covered in blood,sand and slight mud.

    Eveningflash instantly felt bad. Though Leopardsnout attacked her, she should've just run away. But she chose the path that would get her exiled. The oddly-coloured she-cat tried to hold back a loud sob. She succeeded, but the sadness, pain and guilt in her bi-coloured eyes was visible. "I-I....I killed him." she croaked, keeping her eyes off every cat, especially Sharkstar. Instead, Eveningflash stared at her paws.

    Shadowfoot's lip curled. "Greykit! Get away from her." he snarled defensively, scooping up his kit and lightly throwing him back to Flowerpounce. No way was the dark grey deputy letting his kit near a cold-blooded killer. Shadowfoot spun around to Sharkstar. The brute was not yet aware that Eveningflash and Sharkstar were mates. A lot of cats didn't know yet - pretty much nobody knew. "Whether her reason is good or not, she deserves exiles. No cat should kill another within their own Clan - especially if it's a medicine cat!" he snarled. "Besides, she's puny anyway. We could do without her here."
