    Introduction
    [size=9pt]As you walk through a forest, your thoughts wander. How'd I get here? Where am I? Palm trees and other trees are scattered around the sandy clearing, and you stop to stare in awe. Padding over to the beautiful blue and green water, you put a paw in. Moving it around as ripples appear, you smile to yourself. Taking the paw out, you shake it, unaware of the chuckling behind you.
    Jumping as you hear a branch crack, you whip around. Standing in front of you is a tom, who is laughing, yet smiling at you. "Don't you know you can drink salt water?" Shaking your head, you were about to reply when he cut you off. "Nevermind that. You are on IslandClan territory, and I will have to take you in." Frowning, you follow him into a camp, blinking as many cats turn their heads to stare at you. Blushing out of nervousness, the tom just chuckles again, and his tail swishes against the cool sand. "Welcome to IslandClan camp. I am one of the leaders, Sharkstar."    [/size]

    Beliefs
    [size=9pt]IslandClan believes in a good and a bad force, like all other Clans. The good force is called Sky Runners. They believe they run across the sky, making it move. The bad force is called Sand Runners. They believe they make the Earth move. There is one they don't mention much, but it is still worshipped. It is called the Ocean Runners. They believe that's what makes the tide go in and out, and the waves move in the ocean.[/size]

    Traditions
    [size=9pt]The IslandClanners have a holiday called "Vacation," where they get to take a break from all the stress and work for three days. This happens around Greenleaf, in the summer.
    On every Full Moon, they celebrate the Sky Runners and Ocean Runners, giving them offerings of food and singing or doing a play. The play is usually something that happened in the past, and the singing is usually something exciting.
    When a Clanmate dies, the Clan mourns for a night, not speaking the whole time. When dawn arrives, they carry the body out to the ocean, and let it float away. They believe the Ocean Runners will take the cat, and let it stay with them until the Sky Runners come to get them.[/size]

    A beautiful silver tom blinked open his eyes, a yawn escaping through his maw. Shaking his head slightly, he stood up, stretching his long legs. The bengal had slept with no dreams tonight, which was... Rare for him, to say the least. Looking at his Co-Leader, he smiled softly to himself, and nudged her awake. "Come on, Palestar. It's time for patrols." The tom, known as Sharkstar, padded out of the den, his gaze scanning the camp. Spotting the medicine cat den, he waited for a cat he had grown to fall in love with to wake up.

"morning, sharkstar. could i do a patrol?" she asked. it was a normal question from her, since she was helpful.
    she liked helping the clan, more then anything. it helped her calm down and relax. although patrols weren't her favorite chore, she did quite enjoy it. she more enjoyed helping the medics with herbs, but she was fine with patrols. she got to go around the territory, which was a beautiful sight.

She lifted her head with a yawn. Then a loud groan could be heard from the medicine cat's den. Another day full of Leopardsnout's incessant whining about how unfortunate he and Harewind were to have a kit that looked like her. Rolling her eyes, Eveningflash got up and padded out of the den. She arched her back in a satisfying stretch and glanced over to Sharkstar and Palmstone. Deciding not to interrupt, Eveningflash sat down and began to groom her odd pelt. Little did she know how much Sharkstar may have wanted her to interrupt.


    Shadowfoot slipped out of his den with a grunt. Glancing around, he breathed a sigh of relief when he realised Flowerpounce was not yet awake. Though she did try her best to avoid him, every now and then their old life would be brought up, and Shadowfoot would have to dismiss her with a hiss of 'I'm busy with my duties, now go away' or 'Leave me alone! I haven't got time for a history lesson'. Shadowfoot's eyes flashed with a longing for Rubblekit to be awake, but he banished that and padded past Eveningflash, over to Sharkstar and Palmstone. "I'll take Palmstone and another cat on a hunting patrol, if you want." he suggested. Shadowfoot had noticed Sharkstar had been watching and hanging around the medicine den a lot more recently, and the dark grey tabby had his suspicions.[/fancypost]

    Sharkstar's eyes sparkled as he saw Eveningflash. About to go over and talk to her, he was cut off by Palmstone. With a forced smile, he nodded. "Alright. You two may go on a hunting patrol, but take one more cat with you." Excusing himself, he padded over to Eveningflash, his smile more... Welcoming and soft. "Good morning, Eveningflash. Did you sleep well this morning?" He asked his crush, tilting his head.
    He knew he was probably bothering the she-cat, but he didn't want to be... Alone, he supposed.

    Leopardsnout blinked open his eyes. He was laying with his mate, Harewind. Thinking for a moment, his lip curled as he thought of his daughter. In his eyes, he thought Eveningflash wasn't the... Prettiest. He was ashamed, but he would never admit it. Getting up, he padded out, spotting his daughter with... Sharkstar? Narrowing his eyes, he padded over, pushing himself inbetween them.
    "What's going on here? You better not be flirting with Sharkstar." He snarled at Eveningflash, lashing his tail.

    Eveningflash smiled at their leader and dipped her head with respect. "I slept just fine, Shark-" She was cut off by the intrusion of her father. Spitting, Eveningflash glared up at him with irritation in her eyes. "Father! He was only talking to me. He's our leader, and I'm the medicine cat! Even if we were flirting, it would've been none of your business anyway." Huffing, Eveningflash knew she'd made the wrong move by talking back to her dad. She only ever called him 'father' because she might get scolded otherwise.

    Shadowfoot nodded then watched as Sharkstar hurried off to speak to Eveningflash. "Ahh, now I get it." he chuckled with a smile, then that smile vanished as he turned to Palmstone. "You go wake up a cat for us to take with us on a hunting patrol. I'll wait for you at the entrance. Don't take forever." the deputy growled, padding over to the entrance to wait for Palmstone.

    The pretty white fae opened her shallow-sea blue eyes to see Leopardsnout leave the den. She let out an annoyed sigh as she sat up in their nest, beginning to groom herself. Harewind could only guess where her mate was going. The moment Harewind stepped outside, she noticed Sharkstar, Leopardsnout and Eveningflash involved in a little 'tiff'. Harewind knew better than to get involved, so she merely padded over to the fresh-kill pile and scooped up a squirrel, padding over to a shaded spot and waiting for Leopardsnout to come join her for breakfast. She'd noticed Sharkstar and Eveningflash were talking a lot more recently, but Harewind felt only excitement and pride, not jealousy and disgust.

    Ivypaw emerged from her den. Yawning as she made her way towards the clearing she sighed. Picking up a piece of prey from the pile she was indeed starving. Carrying it to her favorite spot she sat down and started to eat it. After finishing she wondered if patrols would be made, curious as the she cat was she looked for commanders. Even though she didn't normally go on patrols she was quite interested.


    Brokensoul growled as he was woken up from the moving of the clan. "Can a cat ever get some sleep around here?" He grumbled lowly scampering to get up onto his fours. Even though he managed his icy glare fixed eyes upon the high-rock. "Patrols?" He asked himself before fully making his way out of the den. He searched cats until he found his brother. Stalking towards the older tom he looked at him. "What are you doing?" He asked a groggily tone to his voice.


    Creampaw was in the clearing. She waited as if she felt something was happen. "I'm going to die of boredom." She mumbled to herself. Laying down she studied her claws fencing them in the ground beneath where she laid. She looked up from time to time but soon shortly stopped after she discovered nothing was going to happen.

    Flowerpounce had just woken up, her fur in a mess. Quickly grooming it, she padded outside of the den, narrowing her eyes against the sun. Looking for her son, she spotted him with Shadowfoot. Of course, she had been avoiding the tom, but she still loved him. Padding over, she pretended to "accidentally" bump into him. "Oh, Sky Runners, my bad!"

    Walter opened his eyes, spotting his brother a little ways off. Smiling, he pushed himself to his paws, stretching out his legs.
