    OKAY SO I NEED TO BRAINSTORM REACTIONS FROM B IN THE THREAD WITH FELIX
    because this is painful and i am bad with pain
    and there are just so many ways he could react to this. too many. this definitely isn't all of them.

    2. He hadn't heard that right. When you- when you said you cared for someone still, they weren't- they didn't tell you that you were wrong. That you were doing this out of some misguided sense of pity, and he might not have said that, but it was what Boy heard, what was ringing in his ears. He inhaled, except he couldn't exhale afterwards, the breath caught in the contraction of his lungs, forced into rigidity by the rapid throb in his ribcage. "Got what? That you don't believe someone can care about you? That's not how this works. Don't you dare tell me what I'm meant and not meant to do."


    3. "You're not meant to want me to be there forever." What? He didn't even know where to start with this, and he wasn't even sure he'd get the chance to because Felix kept going, kept telling him that he was supposed to throw him away, as though B would ever be able to do that. As though B caring for him had a damn timer on it and it'd already hit zero. "Well, too bad for you, I'm not one of those people. I care about my friends, and as much as you don't want to be counted in that, you are. Deal with it." It felt like an ultimatum, one he knew he couldn't actually make, because no matter what happened here B didn't think he could ever care about him any less.
