• [fancypost bgcolor=;border: 0px; overflow: auto; width: 400px;]The apprentice was laying in the middle of camp, sunning himself. He didn't really know what to do with himself, as he wasn't assigned any duties, and didn't have a mentor to train with. So for now he was just killing time until he could figure out something to do. Plus, the sun felt nice on his fur and it was nice to just relax for a little.[/fancypost]

"Hi Bearpaw!" an upbeat, airy voice sounded. Honeypaw trotted over to the brown and white apprentice, smiling at him. She didn't have anything to do, and all the warriors seemed too busy to give the apprentices orders. "It's a nice day today." she commented, sitting on her haunches.

  • [fancypost bgcolor=;border: 0px; overflow: auto; width: 400px;]He lifted his head to get a look at the speaker, who turned out to be Honeypaw. He grinned at her and got up, giving his coat a few licks at an attempt to calm his messy fur, but it was all for nothing. His fur just simply would not tame. "Hiya Honeypaw!" He greeted her, eyes bright. "It sure is, isn't it? I'm enjoying the weather."[/fancypost]

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 450px; text-align: justify; font-size: 11px; line-height: 11px; letter-spacing: -0.2px;]Honeypaw purred in reply, her own fur being ruffled by a slight breeze. "It has been a nice couple of days." she added. A bit odd that their weather was so nice. because Skyclan did have a pretty disastrous storm not too long ago. Perhaps it had moved the other way. "Maybe it's Starclan, giving us something nice after having to deal with so much."

  • [fancypost bgcolor=;border: 0px; overflow: auto; width: 400px;]"Yeah, probably!" He responded brightly. "Well, I definitely appreciate it, that's for sure." Days like this made Bearpaw glad to live in Windclan. It was like having a nice warm sun-blanket everywhere you go. "So, how have you been lately?" He asked her.[/fancypost]

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 450px; text-align: justify; font-size: 11px; line-height: 11px; letter-spacing: -0.2px;]Honeypaw stretched out her back legs, thinking it over for a moment. Despite all this craziness that was happening in the clan, she felt fairly well. "I'm actually doing pretty good." she meowed in response. Sure, the disappearance of half the clan was affecting her (especially since one of them was her father), but it could be worse. She always tried to look on the bright side. "What about you?"

  • [fancypost bgcolor=;border: 0px; overflow: auto; width: 400px;]He was glad to hear it, honestly. He wouldn't know how to handle it if she hadn't been, in fact, okay, so that was an additional good thing. "That's good to hear," He said, nodding, before answering her follow up question. "I'm doing good as well!" Bearpaw had been one who wasn't affected much by the huge disappearance, apart from being understandably sad because many of his clanmates were gone. He didn't have a family, seeing as his mother had been taken by sickness early on in his life, and he had no father or siblings.

/ this is so late oh my god im sorry[/fancypost]

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 450px; text-align: justify; font-size: 11px; line-height: 11px; letter-spacing: -0.2px;]// nooo it's okay

Honeypaw purred in contentment. Things were starting to really look up! Starclan had appointed a leader, and they now had a deputy and medicine cat–and she was the latter's apprentice. "Things are getting a lot better." she commented.

  • [fancypost bgcolor=;border: 0px; overflow: auto; width: 400px;]"They sure are," he said, nodding. The clan was thriving, and things were starting to return to normal. "Oh yeah! Congrats on being the new medicine cat apprentice!" Bearpaw had congratulated her at the ceremony, but he was among a crowd which was a lot less personal.[/fancypost]

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 450px; text-align: justify; font-size: 11px; line-height: 11px; letter-spacing: -0.2px;]"Oh! Thanks." Honeypaw mewed contentedly. "If I'm honest, I'm a little nervous about it." she admitted, glancing at her paws. She didn't normally mention her insecurities, probably because everyone knew her as such a positive person. But Bearpaw was a lot like her; optimistic. She felt more comfortable sharing this with him.

  • [fancypost bgcolor=;border: 0px; overflow: auto; width: 400px;]"You're welcome!" He said brightly. "Ah, don't worry about it! I'm sure you're going to be absolutely fantastic!" Bearpaw assured her. He could just tell that she was the sort of person who'd make a good medicine cat. She was kind, caring, and very smart too! He was sure that she would do great.[/fancypost]

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 450px; text-align: justify; font-size: 11px; line-height: 11px; letter-spacing: -0.2px;]Honeypaw smiled a bit. Even if Bearpaw's words weren't the most descriptive and longest comfort in the world, it still felt better than from just anyone. Bearpaw was genuine with his words and hats what mattered. "Thanks." she purred. "How's your training going?"

  • [fancypost bgcolor=;border: 0px; overflow: auto; width: 400px;]"You're welcome!" He responded brightly. At her question, the feline frowned a little. "I actually don't have mentor yet," he admitted, shrugging his shoulders. "So not so great!" His smile returned and he laughed a little bit at his words. Yeah, he really needed to get that figured out.[/fancypost]

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 450px; text-align: justify; font-size: 11px; line-height: 11px; letter-spacing: -0.2px;]Honeypaw's face creased into a frown. How did an apprentice not have a mentor? Well, it probably want that odd. Before becoming Otterbrook's apprentice, her old mentor never seemed to be around, and eventually just disappeared. "Oh, maybe you should talk to Stonestar about that?" she suggested.

  • [fancypost bgcolor=;border: 0px; overflow: auto; width: 400px;]"Yeah, I probably should," he agreed, nodding. There were so many apprentices in this clan, there really wasn't enough to mentor everyone. Warriors would have to start doubling up. Luckily he would figure out his mentor problem quite soon, since leopard was pretty sure one had been found for him.[/fancypost]

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 450px; text-align: justify; font-size: 11px; line-height: 11px; letter-spacing: -0.2px;]"What do you think about Stonestar?" Honeypaw questioned, her head tilting to the side a bit. She hadn't met anyone who didnt like the newly announced leader, but hey, different cats, different opinions. She didn't think anyone would have protested Otterbrook being the medicine cat, but it happened—with two cats, even.

  • [fancypost bgcolor=;border: 0px; overflow: auto; width: 400px;]"I think she's really cool, honestly! She's kinda intimidating at times, but she's a really good leader and she's also very nice," He said, smiling. "What about you?" Honestly, he expected a similar response to his. Bearpaw also hadn't met anyone who wasn't happy about the new leader. He'd only heard positives.[/fancypost]

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 450px; text-align: justify; font-size: 11px; line-height: 11px; letter-spacing: -0.2px;]"I like her a lot!" Honeypaw chirped, her fur fluffing a bit. "She's really nice, but yeah, she is kind of intimidating." It wasn't as if Stonestar was the physically biggest or strongest cat, but her overall personality was strong and slightly intimidating.

  • [fancypost bgcolor=;border: 0px; overflow: auto; width: 400px;]Bearpaw nodded, smiling. It was definitely clear that Stonestar wasn't one who could be pushed around. He stretched out a little and settled himself down again. "So. Tell me about you," he asked, not sure what else to talk about. He liked Honeypaw, and wanted to get to know her a little better. He wasn't sure what other way there was besides flat out asking questions.[/fancypost]

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 450px; text-align: justify; font-size: 11px; line-height: 11px; letter-spacing: -0.2px;]Honeypaw sat on her haunches, swaying back and forth subconsciously. About herself? "Well, my name's Honeypaw." she joked with a purr. "Uh, I started my apprenticeship late, so that's a fun fact about me I guess."
