"It'll be fine. I've never dropped someone in my life!" Maleth assured her, snaking his head down so Luna could climb on. "Well, actually, that's not true. There was this one ogre that was giving me a rather hard time and though I tried to make sure he didn't fall off, he ended flinging himself into a river because he couldn't tolerate heights."

She bit her lip a little harder and climbed onto him carefully, making sure to hold onto him tight. "An ogre? Wow, i bet being a dragon you meet a lot of beasts and creatures."

"Eh, it's only on occasion," Maleth said modestly, lifting his head up gently and depositing her onto his back. "Once, some friends and I went to Eastern country to hook up with some Griffins. They had their nests taken over by a giant eagle, and it took us a few hours to get the thing out of there. We did get some cool feathers, though. Personally, I still think the Griffin's could have just talked to the damn thing. They're part eagle!" He flexed his wings, stretching them out to get them ready. "All set?"

She held onto him a bit tighter, hiding her face against his scales, "y-yes." She mumbled nervously, making sure she had a good grip on him so she wouldn't fall.
