Nyx tenses up as Jay touches her head and resist the instinct to swipe at him

He hands her a royal blue note book. "You can use my notes... they are extremely simplified." He stands up. "If you'll excuse me I have to practice my magic in the dark arts room."

Nyx nods her head "Thanks Jay". She takes the notebook, stands up, and walks towards her dorm to study*

"No problem Nyx. Any time." He sighed softly and started practicing wand motions walking his way to the defense against the dark arts class room.

Nyx walks to her bed and starts to read the notes, trying to remember all of the notes

Jay begins to practice with cold intent. Blasting the target without mercy.

Nyxgets frustrated at not being able to remember the notes and sets out to find Jay again

"Ravenclaw," Lexa answered, "You're, uh, Hufflepuff, right?"

Flicking his wand the targets are eviscerate one by one a different spell used each time. Jay sighed as he sat down drinking some water.

Nyx knocks on the door of the room Jay is in. "Jay? Got any tips for remembering this stuff?"

Jay looks up from where he was sitting at to Nyx. "Yeah... I do. It is harder to remember if you force it. So instead don't think of it like studying just think of it as reading instead."

Nyx nods her head."thanks" she notices he's sitting down against the wall. "need help going back?"

Jay flips the pages and folds over the pages that are most important. "Nyx if you read these pages I've folded. You should at least get a B on your next test."

"Thanks Jay, that would be a great improvement from my last grade." She gives him a friendly pat on the shoulder before leaving him to keep practicing.
