• [fancypost borderwidth=0px]Egretstar hadn't been around as much as she had wanted to be. Particularly during the clan's current condition, though she'd been working on foreign affairs that would hopefully aid them. RadicalClan was still close, it seemed as though the Blackheart Rogues were going to be dropped as allies in the near future and there had been a pro-clan gathering. If ShadowClan were going to persist with the fighting, they'd have quite a few groups against them at this point. Still, HawkClan couldn't just count on allies alone. They'd have to strengthen themselves, which seemed more important than it had done in the past. Activity had slipped, particularly with the high positions. It also seemed as though the member count had decreased. Something that would have to be worked on as a top priority.

    "HawkClan!"

There was no point in adding anything else to her introduction to the meeting. A single word demanded just as much attention as a sentence. Throat still sore, it also made sense to make things as straight forward as possible for herself. "First of all, activity. I want you guys to try and pick up on things, all of you. Myself included." It wasn't that she hadn't had any reasoning behind her drop in activity, but it was still not enough of an excuse. Leaders had to be easily accessible, Egretstar was aware of this. "High positions, I definitely need you guys to pick it up. Talk to me if you have any questions as well, or jus' need somethin'."

"Twilighttown, yer demoted*. Quickfire, yer on probation. I'm sorry, but as a deputy I need ya around more." It felt bad to put such a long time member on probation, but there was no point in letting the deputy off lightly. HawkClan needed active high positions, as did any group. "I need someone ta hold a patrol for all of the high positions that have gone missing lately." (*in regards to this thread) Yes, Egretstar had said in the past that she would be holding these patrols. Now, it seemed like a bad idea to lead said patrols. Someone else would likely be much better at leading them whilst the avian was ill, though it wasn't as though Egretstar wouldn't be joining them.

Pausing to allow members to listen to what had been said, Egretstar would choose to separate the meeting into multiple sections. Needing a break to try and recollect her thoughts, whilst also attempting to make herself more comfortable. It seemed somewhat clear that the vulture didn't feel her best, though she was doing what she could to avoid thinking about the subject. Not that this was simple.

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width:500px;]Blackjack was the first to arrive. He carried himself over groggily. He'd been taking a nap when he heard the one-eyed vulture's call for a meeting. Almost immediately, the aviator had woken up and made his way over, catching the majority of what Egretstar said before sitting down.

"Sorry, Egretstar..." he said quietly, eyes becoming downcast. Blackjack knew he had been slacking lately, and he greatly wished to change that. He'd come back to HawkClan for a reason, after all: he wanted to help his birthplace out. "I'll try 'n bump up my game. Anyways, I can go help looking for Kururi and Twilighttown..." He was pretty sure those were the only two high positions missing anyways. He would then wait for the leader to continue speaking.

Paige gave a hum of understanding, her tail curling around her paws as she took a seat. She wasn't the best at combat and hunting, but she might help with finding the missing people anyway. They could use as many eyes as possible. [b][/fancypost]

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 400px; margin-top: -9px;]ALL THINGS CONSIDERED, Bitterblue was actually quite punctual. Just a few minutes prior to the HawkClan leader calling out for their weekly meeting, the wolf had been out in the forest tending to her garden. A few of the seeds had already managed to push through through the tough mountain soil, their delicate stems reaching for the sky. It had given her a sense of hope. However, her feelings of elation were short lived as she realized that she was going to be late to the meeting if she didn't sprint back to camp. Instantly taking off, Blue had hurtled herself haphazardly through the woods, her pelt catching on branches and collecting twigs as she went. Now, here she was, hardly concealed pants escaping her as she sat towards the back of the crowd. What had Egretstar just said? A patrol? "I can a-assist Blackjack," she chipped in, still breathless. Her eyes shifted to the aviator as she offered him a brief nod.

"I can also." Trav chimed with the growing search group. He had basically just showed up, but convientally here in time to here all the current announcements. He sat himself down with a yawn and awaited the other parts of the meeting.
He was sure this one was to be crazy.
    Especially considering the war.

Quickfire and Quantum nodded. His roleplayer had forgotten to mention that she'd be going away for a week and so that was why he hadn't been active, but she was back now so everything was good. "Sorry 'bout that!" he called.

"Got it," she mumbled her reply. She wasn't really a high position so it didn't affect her too much, but she decided she could try to be more active.

    [fancypost bgcolor=transparent; border: 0px solid black; width: 410px; margin-top: -10px; text-align: justify; font-family: verdana; font-size: 8.5pt]
Splitsecond settled in beside her clanmates, flicking an ear to signal that she was hear and ready to listen. She wasn't the first to arrive this time, something that settled uneasily in her gut. She needed to pick up the pace. If it was something immediately important, she needed to be there on time in order to respond the best she could. But it was a big territory; there was no chance that she would be in the right spot 100% of the time.

At Egretstar's mention of activity, Splitsecond ducked her head. She had volunteered to put up a few clan-wide events, and what had become of that? Not a one to be found. She needed to work on that; keeping up a secure tether between HawkClan and its allies was important. "Acknowledged," she called out among the others' words. She would get started on some of that as soon as possible, but the way the avian held herself showed that she wasn't quite finished speaking yet.[/fancypost]
