She still couldn't believe it, the way Benedict had fallen like he did. It was all jumbled up in her mind, she didn't know whose fault it was. Accusions ran through her head so fast she could hardly think or take control of them. Epsilon started the storm in itself, while SpiderStar hesitated, and in result, fell within the hole to begin with. Benedict jumped in to help her (even though he fell, that was what she believed), and Auroradweller had only caught SpiderStar in the vines leaving Benedict to plummet past the ebony huntress. The person she blamed in the long run was, of course, herself. If she had been there with him when it happened, he wouldn't of jumped in to save SpiderStar. The ending result was the belief she failed her duty as a sister, and although not dead like she had originally assumed, her little brother was laying broken in her mother's den. A place she never wanted to see him in. Of course it seemed right to visit the boy in the medicine den, and from the entrance she would call out lightly, "B-Benedict?" around her shoulder was a small pouch that she was carrying a few items in for the Dogon.

He jumped in there to begin with, and even if Auroradweller hadn't been able to catch him Spiderstar was safe and that's what he had jumped in to achieve I the first place. Powers only went so far. Strangely, he felt at peace. Calm, except for all the energy that was being pent up in him from his inability to be able to go out and train or play. How he wanted to just be able to go more than two feet out of the den without having his mother fret, but that's what moms did, especially when your mom was the medicine cat. When his name was called by his sister, the dogo would look up and see her form in the entrance. "Yes?" he called back, wondering what his sibling would want. [/fancypost]

The den was crowded, that was for sure, and even with MoonPaw and MaplePaw's help BlazeHeart was still working her paws off with all the injuries and sickness from the storm. A small cough escaped the tortoiseshell's mouth, but blinking, she ignored it, focusing all her attention on Benedict... Her little brother. "D-do you... Do you t-think you c-can come out for a b-bit? Get some fresh air?" the stutter returned from her voice after moons of it leaving, pray to StarClan it would go away. "I mean, there's n-no need to stretch your limits.." she would muse, dragging a white paws across the dirt, dirtying it up a bit, looking up again towards the front of the den.

Bene had never known Lark to stutter, so stuttering now would be a clue something was off. But Benedict gave a nod I confirmation, he could. "I'm allowed to go just outside the den, but Blazeheart would flip out if I go much further." the dogon confirmed. Even if it did hurt, Benedict did it commonly enough so that he was used to it and it didn't really bother him. [/fancypost]

  • [align=center][fancypost borderwidth=0;font-size:8pt; text-align:justify; line-height:125%; width:350px; margin-top: -5px;]"O-of course." she would stutter, letting out another set of quieter coughs. Dreary red settled over her as she sat down, sliding the pouch off of her shoulder and setting it by her paws, and than locking her pale gaze on her feet. She was shaking slightly and every time the deputy blinked her eyes threatened to remain closed, just to catch up on a moment's rest.

Surely she wasn't coming down with a cold? "You should have mum check on that cough." the dogon advised. Even his own medical knowledge had grown some from being in the medicine den for so long, watching his mother treat patients with limited herbs. But something seemed off about Lark, and he didn't like it. The dogon lifted his front side up with his front legs, and would start the long process of weaving inbetween patients and not disturbing them. When they reached ther destination, Beneduct would attempt to extend a comforting wing over his sister, wordlessly waiting for what she had called him out for. [/fancypost]
