    Bucky strode to Steve's house with a Bed Bath & Beyond bag held in his left hand and the house key in his right, ear buds blasting at full volume.


    What will we do when we get old?
    Will we walk down the same road?
    Will you be there by my side?
    Standing strong as the waves roll over...


    His dark brown hair was swept a messy bun against the nape of his neck, and the sleeves of the red Henley that was definitely Steve's at some point were rolled up and over his strong forearms, revealing the tattoo sleeve on his left side that made his arm look like a robot's that had nearly cost him his job at the studio. Unsurprisingly, Bucky was the only male dancer that had ever applied to the studio, and that paired with the fact that he was on-and-off dating Natasha were the only two reasons why they had looked passed the arm.


    However, the man's natural, raw skills had impressed them enough to hire him; he was fast and strong, with great balance and flexible joints and the ability to spot even the smallest error in footwork due to him inheriting his father's "sniper eyesight".


    Turning the key and forcing the door open, Bucky toed off his dirty black converse and paused his music, calling out for Steve as he walked up the stairs to the loft, joggers swishing softly as he went. "Hey Steve! I bought'cha something!" He pulled an unopened box from the BB&B bag, finally glancing up to look at his friend. "It's heater for the winter and a fan for the summer so that you don't get pneumonia or heat stroke while you're working up here."

    as he continued with his piece of art, Steve didn't know that his two animals; jéthro the dog and amethyst the cat were starting to get agitated and excited because they knew someone was going to be at the door; they were right. soon enough the front door opened and walked in Bucky, but Steve didn't know that as everything was zoned out to him. the thought of Bucky always put a smile on Steve's face, making his heart flutter. a quiet chuckle escaped past his lips as he began to think of Bucky, but his thoughts soon ended when actually started to hear his voice. a little started at first when he turned around to see him standing there, but nothing short of happy to see him.


    Bucky was rather attractive in Steve's eyes; very attractive. he loved it when he put his hair in a bun and that he wears some of his clothing, maybe not the current hoodie he was wearing cause that's his favorite one, but oh well. his appearance was beautifully sculptured as well as his personality, the full sleeve tattoo Bucky got was actually really nice and Steve loved the way it looked.


    [b]you startled me, I didn't hear you come in. he said with a soft chuckle, his electric blue eyes locked on the man in front of him. though he tilted his head to the side to look at what was in his hands whats that? he asked, very curious on to what was inside the box. maybe it would be a new towel cause he was currently needing one because his hands were covered in paint, his forearms had streaks of paint on them and he had some blue paint on his cheeks as well.

    Bucky grinned at Steve and walked to the wall, settling onto one knee near an outlet. "Tasha found an old Bed, Bath & Being gift card in her desk and it walls about to expire, soooo..." The man paused and opened the box, pulling out what looked like a little black fan, plugging it in and fumbling a little to figure out how to switch from fan to heater.


    His mother was from Russia and his father from Romania, but due to the fact that his father had died from brain cancer shortly after he was born, he had never learned his father's language. Thus, Russian was his native tongue, and he tended to regress if he was stressed or irritated or if he had a lapse in concentration.

    The brunet lifted his head and explained to Steve so he would know how to adjust the machine in the future. "There are two buttons on the back towards the left hand side. The right turns on the fan and the left turns on the heater." Bucky stood, angling the fan so that it would blow in an optimal direction to stir the air. He walked to his friend and barely managed to keep his face from flushing; god, why did Steve have to be so affordable? Seriously- baby blue eyes, blond hair, and that godforsaken smudge of paint on his cheek?


    Bucky recited a mental prayer and licked the pad of his 'metal' thumb, wiping the partially dried paint off of his cheek. "Jesus, Rogers! You paint like a 5-year-old," he teased, grabbing the other man's dirty cup of water as he ushered him to the bathroom. "Wash your hands, and then you're gonna do your finger exercises. ваши руки будут болеть , если вы злоупотребляют ими."**

Steve loved to hear Bucky speak in the foreign language as it was one of his favorites, besides German, Romanian and Japanese. in the past he's tried to learn Russian, but he's only learned a few things here and there at this point in time. he just sorta set it aside because he had already started a different language, Romanian. he knew more Romanian then Russian, but not at much as he knew German as his mother was fluent in German and his father was half German himself.


    as Bucky turned around and started to explain to him on how this new thing worked and it just made him smile, he was grateful that Bucky had gotten the new piece of technology and that he started to tell him how to use it. in all honesty Steve is [i]horrible with technology and he's always had people poke fun to him about it and honestly? that does kinda bother him, having people make fun of his flaw and weakness as if it's nothing. though he didn't show much care to it, the constant making fun bothers him. anyway, he just looked at Bucky and gave him a smile [b]Благодарю вас за это, любовь моя he said with a soft voice, his blue eyes locked on him. Steve might not be the best flirter, but he tried his best and he often called Bucky sweet names here and there. but really, Steve was thankful for this new piece of technology for his loft cause this place could get extremely cold or extremely hot. he's actually gotten the flu from being up here when it was cold, the really bad kind of flu.


    Steve was rather happy and he hadn't noticed what Bucky was doing, but when he came back to he looked at him and gave a grunt don't do that he said with a soft whine, wrinkling his nose up at the feeling of Bucky's wet thumb against his soft, warm cheek. the motherly exchange made his face become a slight pink, making him give off a little pout. though the pout didn't last very long as he soon had a smile back on his face, rolling his eyes and giving off a small chuckle at how Bucky was ushering him to wash his hands.


    alright, alright I'm going. he said with another chuckle, placing the paint brush down before he headed down the small flight of stairs to go into the bathroom. Steve would soon have to do his finger exercises as he constantly uses his hands, not wanting to loss any function in his dominate hand. he doesn't want that.

    Bucky rinsed out the cup and filled it with fresh water, exiting the bathroom to return it to the spot by Steve's canvas before walking back to the bathroom. The brunet used his left hand to knock the toilet lid so that he could sit, hiking his right leg up and having his left on the ground. "Ugh, Steven, you won't believe what Alexander did today. He's forcing me to choreograph and perform with that moron Zola. You remember him, right? Midget, fat, two left feet? The last time I had to do something with him he purposefully elbowed me in the face during a lift. Steve, I had a black eye for two weeks! Две недели!*


    Bucky pulled his hair out of the bun, running a hand through his messy locks before pulling it back and retying it. "Lifting him once is hard enough; he eats like the devil Steve, it's ridiculous- and now I'm gonna have to lift him half a dozen times! That's not even including the lifts I'm gonna have to do while we're choreographing and rehearsing!"


    He looked from the ground to Steve, thick lashes flicking up from the sharp arch of his cheeks to frame his steel blue eyes as he continued in a sarcastic tone, "I'd rather be partnered with Rumlow again."


    Brock Rumlow had gone to school with Bucky and Steve, and they had been good friends until Rumlow had started bullying Steve. Bucky had burned that bridge faster than Steve could say "I can handle myself, Buck!", and the relationship between the two brunets had worsened in junior year of high school. Rumlow was a senior at that point, and he had shoved his hand down Bucky's pants in the boy's locker room, several of his buddies taking pictures and posting them online.


    As adults, they had been partnered once before Rumlow's house caught on fire, burning him so badly that he could never dance again.


    And, after all of this, Bucky would rather be twirled around by Rumlow than pick Zola up a handful of times. The man had always had a good taste in character, and the fact that he despised Zola that much was almost... Concerning.
