Right now he was just wandering the halls, trying to find something to occupy his attention. He missed Starjelly a lot. He wanted to get married son, but he wasn't sure quite how to get it done, especially with them living in different Clans and all. It was hard, but they were figuring it out.

The tiger strode down the hallways, his large feet making a loud 'thudding' sound whenever he took a step.

[justify]As the tiger stomped past her room, Shutterbug thought an earthquake was here; the ground shook beneath her paws, making her jump, and before she knew it vases were crashing against the ground, curtains were falling, and she was caught in it all, screaming for help--

--in her own head. It was all in her imagination. There was no reason to be afraid. Everything was okay. There was no earthquake, no broken vases, no falling curtains. Her room was fine; she was fine. The half-blind vixen's heart jumped in her chest as the sudden vibrations faded, and she opened the door to her room to see Damon, a new face to the Clan, simply walking through the hall. Of course she had dramatized the situation; she always had; and expecting pups in a few months wasn't making her less prone to jumping at every sound.

"Damon, right?" The trainee's words were shaky, but kind enough in tone. "I'm Shutterbug...if you don't remember, that is." She managed a smile as she tried to compose herself.

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 400px][justify][size=8]His ears picked up the unfamiliar sound of dainty paws scuttling across the floor. It was hard to get used to always knowing when someone was coming. Part of him liked not knowing lay around every corner. It was more of a surprise then. More fun.

His broad head swung around to see a familiar face. Hey, that was the little girl that had greeted him when he joined. And hadn't she just recently been promoted? That was pretty cool, he had to admit.

Damon smirked at her shaky nature. Why was she so jumpy? He recalled her being unnecessarily nervous when he had joined as well. "Yes. I remember you. You seem a little shaken up - you alright?" His voice was mostly monotonous but there was a playful glint in his olive gaze.

She never liked talking about herself--she always liked to focus conversations on the others in it--but she had been asked a direct question. And anyway, she didn't want the tiger to be worried about her.

"Oh, I'm fine," Shutter said, waving a paw in a "don't-worry-about-me" manner. "I'm just...jumpy--that's all. Paranoia, I guess, or... Yeah. Y'know what I mean?" As usual, she had succeeded in making the conversation more awkward on her end.
