FIVE YEARS AGO
Will Shane. The protector and most famous slug-slinger of all SlugTerra. No criminal, renegade, thief, or outright villain stood a chance against him and his exceptional arsenal of Slugs, the key to all of the happenings that occurred in the hidden underground world. But then he disappeared, sucked into a dark vortex created by a corrupted Slug wield by Dr. Blakk. Since then, SlugTerra has grown rough around the edges, but this may only be the beginning of something even more terrible.
Who can pick up where Will Shane left off?

SlugTerra
SlugTerra is an interwoven network of tunnels and caverns 100 miles beneath the surface of the Earth in the core, and is just as diverse in biospheres, cultures, and life as the world above. Only a handful of people have ever been to the subterranean land--and only one person has made it back aboveground so far. Getting to SlugTerra is the easy part, but it's a one-way trip unless you know the secret way back to the Surface. The two worlds, however, are blissfully unaware of each other's existence, and for good reason, as both worlds are dangerous, and could be endangered if someone from either world were to discover it's counterpart.
Of all the life-forms that inhabit SlugTerra, the principle species are the Slugs themselves, which can be found in almost every habitat zone in the underground world. Even from there, a menagerie of sub-species make up the entire population, each with their own personal set of abilities, strengths, and weaknesses. The Slugs are the key to everything that happens in SlugTerra, especially when it comes to the case of the 'slug-slingers', people exceptionally talented in the art of dueling one another with the creatures in a fashion much like cowboys on the Surface. The most experienced of these slug-slingers are the ones with the best set Arsenals of Slugs.
Rules
1. All Feral Front rules and regulations apply here. Please respect them.
2. This is a semi-advanced/advanced roleplay. It is required that each post should at least be a paragraph long (5-6 lines). This prevents flooding and keeps the story flowing properly.
3. Do not kill off other player's characters.
4. Do not make your character and his/her Slugs overpowered and therefore invincible. People (and Slugs) have weaknesses.
5. There will be blood and some gore, but keep it at a PG-13 level and don't overdo it.
6. Put your favorite Slug from the series in the 'Other' section if you read the rules.
EXTRA NOTE: Eventually, Gangs will become a part of the RP, but for the time-being the story will start out with everyone as individuals following their own paths until they bump into each other, set names for themselves, and find common goals.
Slug-Slinger Ranks
ROOKIE
Newcomers to the slug-slinging business, they don't have well developed Arsenals of Slugs, and usually spend the majority of their time training and acquiring new Slugs throughout their travels in SlugTerra. They do not tend to be noticed much by the higher ranking individuals, or other people for that matter, but that is to be expected for starters, so it is not taken too hard.
BLAZER
Blazers somewhat follow the same lifestyle as a Rookie in searching for stronger Slugs and developing their status, but their range of action is less limited than before and can be prepared to take on tasks more suited to their titles. Although they still must deal with partial invisibility, people begin to notice them more often as their reputation grows. You can usually expect a Blazer's Slug Arsenal to be more varied and organized than a Rookie's, and each one is never exactly like, so it ends up becoming a helpful way to identify individual Slug-Slingers.
SEEKERS
These Slug-Slingers are the pinnacle individuals of the profession, having well-developed Slug Arsenals and exceptional reputations that are very much public knowledge. Having mastered the business of being a Slug-Slinger, Seekers tend to take up the role of either mentors for fresh Slingers, or jobs such as bounty-hunting, border-guarding, or protectors. Only very experienced Slug-Slingers dare to duel a Seeker.
My Form

ll Hugo "Fyr" Jira ll
"Sometimes you have to face the things in life that bring you the most pain, for all it can do is make you stronger."
Name:
"Hugo Fyr Jira. The 'Fyr' is derived from a Latin word that means 'fire' in English."
Age:
"How old do you think I am?" He's nineteen.
Gender:
"Ok, now you're just being ridiculous." Male.
Slug-Slinger Rank:
"I'm a Blazer, but I only have two Slugs: Spring-Trap and Vortex."
Personality:
"Honestly, I'm not really good at explaining it." Hugo can be, at times, a little bit of everything. Most of the time, though, he's simply cautious and therefore is silent, not speaking unless spoken to. When he does speak, it is usually a dry comment toward whatever current situation he is in, but he deserves to be listened to, for he is rather intelligent and can be serious when he wants to be. He first comes off as cold and reserved to the people who first meet him, but once they break down the shell, they will find that he is actually quite sweet and compassionate, always putting others before himself and defending his closest friends with the utmost devotion.
History:
"Eh...Touchy subject. Let's move on." Despite being born and raised in SlugTerra, Hugo is one of few inhabitants who actually know about the Surface, but, knowing the dangers involved if someone whom hadn't earned the right to be told discovered it's existence, keeps silent about it. Hugo obtained his own Slugs even before he became a Slug-Slinger: an Arachnet Slug named 'Spring-Trap' and a Hoverbug Slug named 'Vortex'. Since then, they have been his main Arsenal from his time as Rookie all the way to Blazer status, and continue to serve him well in his travels around SlugTerra.

Slugs:
"May as well just show you..."
SPRING-TRAP

Spring-Trap was the first Slug Hugo acquired in his youthful days, which were mostly spent exploring the lush jungle caverns that surrounded his home. The Arachnet Slug can be quite unpredictable at times, but Hugo seems to read him well enough that he is not thrown off guard by his erratic behavior and attitude. Despite this, Spring-Trap takes his job as being one of Hugo's Slugs, and one of his only friends, very seriously, and is an important asset on the field of battle.

VORTEX

Only one word can best describe Hoverbug Slugs--zippy. And out of all Hoverbugs, Vortex is the most zippy of the sub-species. His high-flying powers are impressive in and out of battle, and it takes rather tremendous effort just to keep track of him once he has gotten moving. This flashy attitude of his is also accompanied by a good deal of overconfidence, and occasionally the Hoverbug will get in over his head and into serious trouble if he is not careful. Even with this slight inconvenience, Vortex is a force to be reckoned with in a duel, a trait that makes him a valuable member in Hugo's Arsenal.
Blaster:
"It's a Renegade Ultra QLC Blaster."
Mecha-Beast:
"The BOOM-R, or 'Boomer', as I like to call it."
Sexuality:
"Now what kind of question is that?" Straight.
Crush:
"I don't have one." May develop.
Bf/Gf:
"I'm not bisexual, and I don't have a crush, so no again."
Other:
"That's it? Then excuse me." My favorite Slug has to be the Infernus Slug.
