The trip too Windclan wasn't so bad, sure his neck would be sore tomorrow, but it was no biggie. Marshall sat upon the border, the white wicker basket hanging delicately from his jaws. Snowberries adorned the basket, weaving in and out of the handle. Inside lay instant hot chocolate packets, a snowcone machine, and various other snow-related gifts. Now, seeing a winter-y basket during the summer might be odd to onlookers, but it made perfect sense for the Skyclanners who were currently having a weather crisis. A small sigh escaped Marshall's maw. Now to wait for some wandering Windclanner to find him.

Praguespring remembered when the SkyClan deputy had visited WindClan, he had still been a child then. "Hello," the WindClan advisor spoke politely, approaching Marshall quietly. "Thanks f-for the gifts," he added, noticing that the gift basket seemed to be "winter-themed". The young Siberian tiger wondered if Marshall was aware that SkyClan and WindClan were not allies. Fadingdaylight had wanted to revive the former SkyClan-WindClan alliance but the SkyClan deputy had never returned to WindClan and so the two clans had remained neutrals. "May I a-ask why t-the winter theme?" he added conversationally. Although the two groups were still only neutrals, WindClan had accepted SkyClan's invitation the last time a SkyClanner had visited.

Though, the choice in theme certainly did seem.. odd. It wasn't as if Chervil was ungrateful or anything, but similarly to Prague, he did wish to know why they had opted for this theme in particular. "Thanks for the gifts!" Chervil would be sure to add, sporting a grin, and a brisk nod of gratitude towards the stranger.

Marshall's tail twitched in anticipation as he spotted the tiger approaching. A small amused smile appeared on his maw at the tigers confusion. "Hello." he began, "The theme was chosen in retrospect of Skyclan's recent climate change. It is winter in the summer, as odd as that may seem." Seeing Chervil approach, he acknowledged him with a nod. "You're welcome."

Seeing the basket donned with the exotic snowberries, Willowkit's eyes couldn't help but widen in amazement and a small sigh slipped her maw in awe. She had not been alive long enough to witness a beautiful winter, but she had heard about the elusive season. Telltale signs included the North wind passing through, bringing promises of heavy snowstorms that could rise several feet high off the ground. Willowkit had fiercely studied the season, recalling the eyewitness accounts she had heard of this white wonderland, snowflakes drifting down from the darkened sky like small packets of metamorphosed water. Snow fascinated her, and there was nothing she would love more than to roll around and play with it when winter rolled around.

Gritting her teeth and shutting her slightly opened maw shut, Willowkit opened up to the stranger starting with a friendly smile. The news that SkyClan was experiencing winter in summer definitely drew her interest. She started getting her hopes up, wanting to go with someone cool to visit SkyClan and sneak away from camp unnoticed. It would definitely be a thrilling adventure, but she wasn't sure who would want to go with her. She didn't think that she was someone special or noticed at all, often acting more like an ghost even when she tried so earnestly. Squeezing her eyes shut to block out the negative thoughts of her crippling anxiety, she would let out a trembling exhale of breath through her nose to quell her stormy mind.

Cherviltea announced their gratitude, taking the words right out of her mind as she recovered. Staring at Marshall's chin to appear attentive without making eye contact, Willowkit would give a small nod in agreement. Hopefully, these goods would be put to good use by being distributed instead of forgotten. If no one else picked it up later, she would.

  • [fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; width: 430px;][justify]He wished it was winter here as it would be better than steaming heat that was always around. His eyes were devoid of anything but anger since the incident with Scout and there was a reason for it. He blamed Windclan and why wouldn't he. Sitting down he gave a half nod of his head before actually speaking. "Thanks." His voice was gruff and rather uncaring for the gifts or this Skyclanner.

[fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px solid #000000; width: 440px;][justify][size=7pt]Happykit bounded over, his eyes wide with excitement when he noticed the snowcone machine and the hot cocoa packs. It was like heaven on earth for the child. "Woah! Are these really for us?" he poked basket and his face lit up with excitement. "Cocoa and snowcones are the ultimate camping package!" there was so many fun ideas running through his head already, especially with the machine. "I promise I will put these to very good use, Mr. Marshall. Thank you so so much!" he was half tempted to throw his arms around the stranger and hug him, but he stopped himself. Containing his burst of energy.
