[b]Welcome to The Stadt, the remnants of a previously legendary society ravaged by a brutal force of nature once thought unimaginable. Freed from the terror that broke them down, they are now rising from the ashes, and yearn to be as powerful as they had been decades ago.

    [hr]

BRANCHES — The Stadt is divided up into three branches, all with varying purposes and responsibilities. Scouts are expected to choose a branch to join at their graduation ceremony.

THE BATTALION - The offensive branch. Warriors trained specifically in battle and nothing else. The best fighters that the clan has to offer, these are the soldiers sent out to fight during raids.
THE MILITARY POLICE - The medicinal branch. Unlike most clans, the medics are trained in both fighting and herbs, though are obviously not as skilled in battle as the other two branches. They care for the rest of the clan and keep order, making sure rules are enforced as well as keeping spirits up and making sure everyone fairs well.
THE GARRISON - The defensive branch. They are sort of the middle ground for those who can't decide between the other two branches - taught equally both fighting and medicine, they can defend the clan as well as take the role of a medic. During raids they hang back the protect the territory in case of a counter-attack.

RANKS — Soldiers and up choose a branch and are given a rank. Scouts may choose to opt out of training at any time and become a citizen. The ranks are as listed below.

General - Leader of the clan. All-powerful, any and all military decisions are left up to them.
[ Horus Ignis, played by oddi ]
Commander - There are three appointed commanders total, one for each division. They specialize in the branch they lead, and make decisions that involve their branch and their branch only. They all report to the general. When the general dies or retires, one of the commanders will take his place.
[ The Battalion ] [ Aleks Sierzant, played by asyli ]
[ The Military Police ] [ Aurelia, played by astraea ]
Captains - Members of each branch that have proven themselves to be excellent at what they do. A semi-high position, this is more of a stepping-stone to one day becoming a commander. There are usually two or three per branch.
[ The Battalion ] [ Freiheit Hadrian Prior, played by meese ]
    [ The Military Police ] [ TBD ]
    [The Garrison ] [ TBD ]
Ambassadors - As The Stadt is a fairly isolated clan, a small handful of the members are tasked with visiting and learning about other civilizations. They visit allied clans often, as well as bring gifts, request raid help, relay information, etc. Ambassadors also act as spies, infiltrating enemy clans, but this part of their job is kept a secret from the everyone but the military officials. This is a semi-high position, and there are usually five to ten of them, all from varying branches.
    [ TBD ]

Councilmembers - A semi-high position made up of citizens who have proved to be active, intelligent, and friendly. They are the voice of the people and assist the General in decision-making.
    [ TBD ]

Soldiers - Normal members of one of the three branches.
Scouts - Animals of six moons of age and older training to be a soldier. They are taught not though one-on-one apprenticeship, but weekly tasks and activities held by the captains of each branch.

Citizens - Adult members who have opted out of joining any branch. They hunt and patrol, but don't have to fight or heal.
Kits - Members under six moons.

RULES & TRADITIONS — The Stadt is not a tradition-oriented group. Small parties throughout the year are common, but the biggest celebrations are the solstice festivals. Held twice a year for a full week, these festivals celebrate the coming of the winter and summer solstices. Allies are often invited to join in on the fun.

Monthly initiation ceremonies are held for scouts graduating into soldiers. These ceremonies, attended only by the scouts and the higher-ups of the military, always begin with the captain of each branch giving a short congratulatory speech. Then the scouts take the stage one by one and choose a branch to serve.

Special funerals are held when someone in the military passes. The deceased is placed before the public in an open casket-style funeral, where the general will give a speech and present them with a Medal of Honor. They will then be cremated, their ashes bottled and given to their family along with their medal.

TERRITORY — [x][x][x] The Stadt lives hidden behind massive fifty-foot stone walls, a towering reminder of the suffering of their ancestors. Their territory spans acre upon acre of land, but after they took an astounding dive in population a decade or so ago, most of their members take up residence in a small portion of their land known as the Shigonshina District. The Shigonshina District consists of dirt roads lined with cottages and storefronts, abandoned by humans centuries earlier. A river cuts through on the easternmost side, providing easy travel around their massive territory, as it cuts through every district.

The rest of The Stadt's land is open for them to wander. It consists of multiple biomes, including meadows, mountains and forestry. The outer districts, Shigonshina included, are mostly housing, but there are a few stray cottages scattered throughout the inner territories for anyone to claim as their own if they'd prefer. At the very heart of the land, behind Wall Sina, is The Fortress - a massive castle where the military officials meet during times of war. Finally, just outside of the Shigonshina District is the training grounds, where scouts live and are primed for their future in the military.

CLAN RELATIONS — The Stadt has no specific orientation, meaning that they refuse to title themselves as pro-, anti-, or neutral. They make and break alliances as they see fit.

There's no form!"
Easy - you should tread this clan just like a normal clan. Simply track the guide [you are here], make a joining thread in the board, and soon you'll get some responses.

"I'm confused. Is this a neutral clan?"
Not exactly. The Stadt doesn't fit into any category, therefore stereotypes don't matter to them. They could be declaring war on an anti-clan one day and raiding a pro- or neutral clan the next.

"The Stadt seems really familiar for some reason..."
Yeah, it should. It's based around the hit anime Attack on Titan/Shingeki No Kyojin!

"Oh! Does that mean that Eren and Mikasa live there?"
No, not exactly. The Stadt is based around the AOT universe, but not actually in it. The titans and humans both have been gone from this particular universe for about a century. Of course, you're always free to make a character from the anime and put them here!

"I don't know anything about Attack on Titan! Can I still join?"
Of course! The Stadt actually has nothing to do with the show whatsoever. I only borrowed the location and the idea behind the military. Everything you need to know is in the guide above.
