• [fancypost borderwidth=0px;]The fluffy tom approached the border of RiverClan, scanning the area. This wasn't an unfamiliar thing for the leader to be doing. Last moon, he had been here, and for the same reason. With every full lunar cycle came a new set of three gatherings. Beetlestar didn't like to have to travel so far, but he felt more comfortable doing it himself. He also had no idea how to write, so that was that.

Taking a seat, Beetlestar awaited for a RiverClanner to approach him. Beetlestar was in this clan far more than with their other allies. He had built up a huge trust in RiverClan, but he knew that CloverClan was not the other clan's first priority. It was too bad, really. But he had no idea what allies were supposed to do. The previous leaders hadn't done much, so he was unfamiliar with things like member exchanges.
General gathering (for everyone)
Leaders + Deputies (and vice leaders if you have them!)
    Healers (apprentices and assistants included)

It felt good to be part of a group that was trusted by many, however it was sad to know that her own clan hardly returned the favor. The kitten approached, curious by the sight of the Cloverclan leader. Cloverclan was one of their allies that she had heard very little about, yet felt intrigued by them. When didn't she feel intrigued by anything, though? "Um, name and business!" The small girl squeaked her inquiries, gleaming up at the much larger feline with widened violet orbs.

Milkyway padded over, eyes narrowed. He stood next to Ivylee, wary of the leader- even though he was sure they had met before. [/fancypost]

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px;]Beetlestar immediately began to smile at the sight of a kit. If this was happening in his own clan, he would have scolded Ivylee for being so far out of camp. But he had no reason to do so towards a RiverClan kit. His own mate was expecting a litter, and kits made him much happier now.

"I'm Beetlestar, the CloverClan leader," the long-haired cat replied. "And I'm here to invite RiverClan to our moonly gatherings." When Milkyway arrived, Beetlestar directed his voice towards the warrior. "There's three gatherings: the leader and deputy one, the medicine cat one, and the last one's for everybody."

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width:500px;]Curiosity began to tug at Steadfast as he overheard Beetlestar speaking with two of his clanmates. He had heard of moonly gatherings, but never of ones hosted by anybody. To him, it did not seem like a bad idea to attend. After all, it would be nice to speak with their allies in a place where they would already be.

"I'm not able to accept invites, though I don't see why we wouldn't be able to go." He said as he popped his head out of the bushes, a frown tugging at his mouth. "Especially if it's peaceful, which I assume it will be." His right eye raised slightly as he glanced towards the Cloverclan leader. Hopefully, Athena, Warblerwing, Jager, or Frightfur would be around to accept the invite soon.

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px;]Namaste wasn't into a fight, and so if the meeting did, in fact, peeter down to just that, the male would be ready to make a departure. Of course, other than that, he didn't see why they shouldn't be able to go, much like Steadfast. The chocolate oriental came forwards, offering a smile towards the CloverClan leader before dipping his head. "Welcome to RiverClan,"

Athena said softly as she trudged over, dipping her head to the opposing leader as she greeted him. Ivylee and Steadfast had handled the situation already, so Athena would go straight to accepting the invitation for the monthly gatherings. "As usual, everyone is encouraged to attend." Making a mental note of the event, Athena would announce it again in Friday's meeting. It was a nice way to bond with their distant ally since their territory was in a remote area that couldn't be reached with ease. CloverClan was peaceful, but at the same time, lonely. Athena didn't care much for other group's foreign affairs, but she worried that the smaller proclan lacked strong bonds with their allies. They never sent gifts or other invitations outside of the traditional gatherings to RiverClan, but since Athena was fond of them, she decided that their friendship was enough on it's own. "Thank you Beetlestar, I'll be at the leader's gathering soon. Is there anything I can offer you before you go?"

Frightfur arrived. He remembered Beetlestar from when he first came to Riveclan and he remembered the gatherings, too. He had gone last time and he would go again. He nodded respectfully to Beetlestar and let a small smile tug at his lips. "Thank you for inviting all of us, Beetlestar, and welcome," he offered in a slow drawl.

The slender woman's ears perked up -- CloverClan? She was not familiar with them, besides the slight whispers and rumors that she'd picked up on. All she really knew was that they were a smaller, traditional Clan that generally didn't deal with politics too much.

She found herself interested. She wanted to go.

The tip of her tail moved, the only physical indication of her excitement, as she stood up and thought on when to head out, and whether she ought to do anything to prepare for this.

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0; width: 410px; margin-top: 0px; font-family: arial; line-height:100%; font-size: 10pt; text-align: justify;]Gatherings? Ivy had never been to one before. She wanted to go, she really wanted to, especially since it was sure to be peaceful. Getting to know the other clans was something that was a goal of hers, and attending a gathering would bring her one step closer to achieving it.

Clearly excited, the kitten dipped her head toward the leader of Cloverclan. "Thank you for the invite!"

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0]While she was dreading leaving RiverClan's territory to attend a social event, she would not stop herself from attending it. She had to. She was Athena's back-up now, and she did not want to disappoint the leader.

Therefore, as Warblerwing remained as a ghost, she listened to Beetlestar for the second time in a week. Would he become a more reoccurring figure here in their home? Perhaps... or perhaps it was just by coincidence. It was nice to see the leader do his own work though instead of sending off his warriors.
