  • [fancypost bgcolor= transparent; border: 700px]He went slack-jawed at Marg's words. It was all, of course, in jest. He was just doing the whole charade to get her to laugh, and he was pleased to see it was working rather well. Suiteheart knew he had to keep it up. "I'm honestly appalled that you think I'm a nerd," he responded before adding, "Don't you know who I think I am?"

He simply grinned as Margaery exhibited pride over her jokes. It was cute, he thought. But now he had to school her in the art of pun making. "That sounds cool. Iris eye had been there to see and hear 'em," the deputy chuckled, ignoring the pounding in his head. He also attempted to ignore the flashing pictures draped in haze in his mind. He saw himself laughing with some dark feline, making jokes like nothing was wrong at all.

"Well, if you keep it up, you might get to see that look more than once." It honestly didn't take much to surprise Suite. He was a pretty easily surprised dude. He wasn't sure why, but he'd always been that way. And even if he didn't show it, he was usually always surprised by everything.

As her humor shifted to concern, he frowned. He hadn't wanted this... He hadn't meant to put a sour note in their fun. But wow, look at him go! "I'm fine," Suiteheart answered, "but my head's killin' me. It's weird. It always does this at random - like I get headaches at weird times, I mean. It's dumb as shit." The tabby, at Margaery's suggestion, slowly made his way down the tree before sitting at its base. "Sorry I ruined the fun."

That one's a given," she giggled in response, finding it hard to keep up the facade and not give into the overwhelming desire to simply laugh. She didn't know why he amused her, just that he did. It wasn't like she didn't appreciate it though- it wasn't often that she got to sit back and joke around with a friend.

His next words caused her good mood to falter suddenly, bittersweet memories dancing vividly in her mind. It was difficult, but she managed to push them away in favor of the present, her smile returning perhaps larger than it initially had been. [color=#eecccc]"Eye can't believe you made such a cornea pun. Iris you made more of them, honestly," she truthfully responded, laughing again. God, this made her feel so strange... Despite everything, she was realizing that she liked him. A lot a lot.

Margaery would keep his comment concerning being shocked in mind. If there was one thing she loved to do, it was surprise people, that was for sure. [color=#eecccc]"I look forward to that then. You probably won't even see my coming, me teleportation comes in handy, doesn't it?" She teasingly responded.

In the deputy's mind, Suiteheart hadn't ruined the fun. Margy was just prone to worrying, especially about him, and to see him in pain hurt her (in more ways than one). Taking a seat besides him at the base of the tree, she attempted to reassuringly press against him, shaking her head gently as she did so. [color=#eecccc]"No, no, you didn't ruin anything, I promise. And what sort of headaches? I used to suffer from migraines and they were absolutely terrible. They sort of stopped when my old body died but I can relate to the pain."
