The innocent cats of CloudClan lived under a large stormcloud, which rained every day. The cats were used the rain after many moons of this occurring. Then, ] one day, a large hurricane tore through their camp. It killed all the cats, and wrecked their camp and territory. Well... all the cats, but one. A young tom, about thirteen moons, survived the hurricane. He had gone hunting, and explored farther than he thought he would, and was nowhere near the area at the time. This tom was named Shredstride, and he was a brand-new warrior. When he got back, everything was a wreck, and there were no cats anywhere, not even bodies. Eventually, he gave up and left to find a new home. After moons of traveling, Shredstride found a perfect place to live. It was right by the ocean, where the sun rose in the morning, and falls on the other side of the territory. Soon, he started to work on it, transforming it into a little area for him to stay. Soon, the tom began marking out territory, and after a while he found a group of hungry rogues. Willingly, he invited them to stay, and slowly it developed as word passed around that Shredstride was allowing strangers into his home for food and warmth. After a few moons, the strangers became members of his Clan, which he had named DawnClan. He then renamed himself Shredstar, and DawnClan have prospered ever since. It has large oak trees in the forest that shade the ground, protecting them from the hot sand. The beach is nice and clear, and cats don't have to worry about burning their paws. There are palm trees lining the camp. The camp is hidden at the edge of the forest. It is covered by palm tree leaves. All the Warrior-like ranks sleep together closest to the entrance, and all the Tyros sleep together closest to the entrance, on the other side. The Shamans sleep together in the far end of the camp, not near the entrance. The Front-Runners as well, and the Subalterns. The Nursery is the farthest from danger.
