Oh that's not all. The peanut gallery strikes again in 3rd period. ![]()
In algebra, we have an honors class and a regular class, two different books. I got my books in first period history, way, way before algebra. I grabbed the honors book, mind you, it did not say algebra anywhere on it. I was not told it was the honors book. I didn't know until 3rd period when the girl next to me told me it was the honors book. So, I thought that I would talk to my teacher on Monday, today, to get it all straightened out.
On Monday, we had gotten a few new students, so she was walking. I thought she wasn't busy, or I got up to go talk to her because she was away from everyone else. She walked into the back room so I just did a full circle around my desk and sat down... Yeah.
Finally she came over and I explained what happened. The asshat behind me tapped me on the shoulder, I turned around, thinking he needed a piece of paper or something. He held up the honors book. The one kept under our desks is an older copy and it does have the word 'honors' on the front. Not the new versions. He pointed to it and literally sounded the word out.
I have won three awards for my writing, read, storytelling, poetry, ect. I know that that is the honors book. By now, the entire class was in on it. The teacher even said, "I showed you the books on Friday, you must have just been off looking in space."
No, I got the books in first period, thank you.
Like, this was a conversation between me and the teacher. Why the hell were you people listening to my conversation anyway? I could have been asking something personal, I don't need your input. I know I made a mistake, and I'm doing the right thing by speaking out about it to fix it as soon as the situation happened, rather than waiting until the middle of the year.[/fancypost][/fancypost]
