hmm lets do at the train station, like they're actually boarding the train and it's about to take off. and how about instead of being full-blown friends they kinda just know of each other, they're been in the same classes and such but they haven't talked to each other much and they could always get stuck sitting near each other on the train? i dunno.

A loud groan left Levi's lips as he darted through the crowd of people, trying to make his way up to the doors of the train. He had just dropped his bag off at the bag drop off area (tbh i dont remember where they drop the bags off so shhh go with it) and now he had to try to find his way to the door, though the sea of people was making it rather impossible to get through. He stopped for a brief moment, his dark eyes darting around in hopes of finding any sort of path, though it was proven to be hopeless. Groaning once again, he started again and snaked around the sea of wizards hugging their children goodbye before giving up again and groaning, hoping that if he waited for a little longer that everyone else would eventually venture into the train and he could just follow after.

Rylie had already been on the train for about fifteen minutes, sitting in her own little quarters all alone with a book on the seat next to her. She picked it up, flipping through the pages gently before sighing and putting it down next to her again, gently pressing her forehead against the window. She could see all of the people crowded around, wishing their families goodbye and it just annoyed her. She wanted to get this train ride over with, after all it'd end up taking forever and the longer it took for everyone to get on, the longer it'd take to leave for Hogwarts. Letting out an annoyed sigh, she got up and smoothed her robe out before sitting back down, looking back towards the window.

  • Holly rushed through the train station pushing her cart and dodging muggles who got in her way. She was late, very late in exactly two minutes the train would be leaving. Though this wasn't exactly a surprise for the hufflepuff, she in fact was always late. It was a trait her parents frowned down upon, though they also frowned down upon her not continuing the family trend of being a prized ravenclaw. She turned her head around to see her parents trailing not to far behind her. Her mother shot her a disappointed look and she turned her head just in time to see platform 9 3/4 come into view she let out a small yell which got her some well deserved looks from the muggles. She ignored them, however, as she lined her cart up for the barrier and increased her speed. She didn't even blink as she passed through the barrier and pulled to a stop within the train platform 9 3/4. She sighed rather pleased to see that wizards were still clinging to their parents and telling them goodbye. Which reminded her of her own parents who soon came into the station behind her panting rather heavily. "Holly, why must we always be late?" Her mother asked in scolding sort of way and Holly released her cart and threw her hands around her parents before pulling away. "Don't forget to write Holly, you should have gotten an owl instead of that cat." Her father informed her shooting a rather disapproving look toward a tabby cat who lay in a cage on top of Holly's cart rather uninterested in the world. "Father his name is William! And owls are just so boring!" She told her father for possibly the thousandth time. Her parents had always preferred owls over any animal because they believed they were more useful, but Holly persisted on getting a cat and she had won. "Yes I know but Owls are just so useful Holly, anyway run along, the train will be leaving soon." Her father told her with a smile and Holly didn't even wait turning and rushing toward the train. The sixth year pushed past the first years who flocked the train entrance and began looking for an empty quarters but having no luck she chose one with a Slytherin girl she had only spoke a few words too but recognized as Rylie O'Connell. She slipped in and chose the seat directly facing the other girl.

Hunter had arrived at the train station early. He could have been one of the first kids to board the train in fact, if it weren't for his mother that was. Hunter's mother was a muggle and wasn't very fond of the wizarding world, which is why when his Hogwarts letter came she was very resistant to let him go. "Hunter are you sure you want to go?" His mother asked him for the hundredth time with a concerned expression just as she had done every year now. "Yes mother, I'll be fine." He informed her with a small smile on his face. His mother shook her head slightly at this response a look of bewilderment on her face. "It's dangerous at Hogwarts." She insisted her blue eyes filled with deep concern. This was a topic she was stuck on every since he had gotten his letter 5 yrs ago and she had done extensive research on the topic. Which of course came up with various articles on stories of the school, such as how a few years ago a snake had roamed and turned kids to stone and even killed one, after a chamber was opened deep within the school, which of course only fueled the woman's fears. If it weren't for Hunter's wizard father who insisted that all wizards attend Hogwarts he would most certainly wouldn't have been allowed to go. He sighed wishing his father was here now, but the man had to work so he was stuck with only his mother. "Wizards belong at wizarding school." He informed her which only got him a deeper concerned look. "Your brother doesn't go to Hogwarts and he's happy." She told him casting a look at the 12 yr old boy who stood next to her. Hunter sighed casting a look at his younger brother who was looking longing at the train, he didn't care to remind his mother that his brother, Evan, was a muggle instead he informed her he had to go. "I'll send Sky with letters." He told her referring to his Barn owl before turning to head onto the train. He began looking for a quarters with Gryffindors but soon realized they were all full. He than began looking for one without Slytherins but when that came up blank too he chose one with a Slytherin he barely talked to and a Hufflepuff and carefully slid in sitting as far from the Slytherin as possible.

With one minute to spare, Levi hopped onto the train and looked back, tossing a smile to his parents that were on the far wall of the train station before he began to move down the isles, looking for a place to sit comfortable but it seemed as if almost all of the cabins were full. He sighed, slumping his shoulders as he continued to move throughout the isles before finally coming upon one of the quarters that actually had a seat left. Granted, it contained a Hufflepuff, a Gryffindor, and a Slytherin, all who he had exchanged some words with before but not many. He didn't exactly mind that they were in there either, his only concern was a fight starting between the rivaled house members or just the Slytherin in general. He hesitated before looking to the other cabins that were packed to the core before sighing and sliding into the only empty seat. It felt somewhat tense, he'd admit that, but he was ready for it. Glazing his eyes over all of the other students he inhaled sharply, leaning back into the chair and sighing. He already could tell this would be a long trip, especially because of how quiet everyone was. He would of much rathered to be with a bunch of Ravenclaws like himself, so he could have an intellectual conversation but he was out of luck for now and he would just have to deal with it. It was his fault for not packing until the last minute as well, not anyone else's. He would have to wake up earlier next year and make sure that he didn't have an absolutely horrible time on the train. He wasn't going to let this train ride be absolutely deplorable and filled with silence, so he decided to take matters into his own hands. "So..." he started, reaching up and scratching the back of his neck before sighing once more. "We're gonna be stuck here for a while so we might as well make use of it and actually talk to each other. I don't recall ever giving any of you a former introduction so I'll do that now. I'm Levi Baines, Ravenclaw obviously. Now you guys go." He motioned with his hands to the others in the area, biting his own lip as he let himself get comfortable in the seat.

Rylie picked the book up and set it into her own lap when someone else came in, that other person just happening to be a Hufflepuff that she hadn't really talked to much. She eyed the girl up and down, wondering exactly why she decided to take a seat with her but she didn't audibly complain. A groan, however, did leave her mouth when the Gryffindor came into the room, and she immediately sunk into the side of the train and narrowed her eyes, stealing one glance at the male. She didn't have anything bad to say about him in particular but she did have lots to say about his house, but she knew she would probably have the best bet of keeping her mouth shut. She fixed the part in her dark brown hair before staring back out the window, letting herself sink into the silence that was broken for the third time as a new boy, this one being a Ravenclaw, bumped into the cabin. Throwing a soft glare at the boy, she huffed again before glancing back out the window. Her attention returned over to the Ravenclaw as she heard him speak again, taking a moment to steal glances at both the Gryffindor and the Hufflepuff at the same time. "I suppose you're right," she started, shifting slightly in her seat before glancing down at her hands. "It would be terribly awful, and awkward, if we all just bathed in silence the entire ride. Anyway, I'm Rylie O'Connell, and I'm a proud Slytherin." She said, though it came out of her mouth rather dully.
