Life was Fragile.
Anyone who lived in any of the clans knew that. Or anyone who just lived in general. Life was very very fragile in this universe, and not one being who lived a full life had not experienced death. Whether it had been a friend, or family member, or even themselves. Cami knew very well what losing something close to him felt like, but just this whole new life that had been presented to him was like a big slap in the face. He was being brought into reality, he was descending into his old state of loneliness and fear, the water he was being dragged into filled his lungs and kept him from breathing.
The past four months had been a blur. He didn't know what happened or why he left Blizzardclan. All he knew was that Memphis and Sebastien had both vanished. His boyfriend and his older brother. His sister had gone somewhere too without warning. Memphis knew that he wouldn't be staying with Cami, he had hinted before, but Cami didn't know why he would have left. Why wouldn't he tell Cami what was wrong, or what was troubling him, or why he had to go, wasn't your intimate other the one who was the most honest with you? Cami felt betrayed, but most of all heartbroken. Now he had left his homeland, without even realizing he did. He left all his friends behind, Felix, and Tama....oh Tama..
He was too ashamed to go back. Too scared. Too scared of what they would think, of the painfully good memories that would most likely plague his consciousness his every waking moment if he saw his old home.
The tiny grey and black Japanese bobtail wobbled up to the coloured clan border. His thin frame was slightly trembling as cuts and bruises were scattered all over the fur from the long journey he took here. His weak legs almost gave out, but before they could he sat himself down with a shaky sigh. His dull Amber eyes stared at the ground as he unscathed a single claw. He moved it across the ground, drawing tiny circles and squares, anything that would keep him pulled down to earth.
Where was he? Shadowclan? No... Scar clan? No. But at least he knew this wasn't blizzardclan.
The small male lifted his head, tasting the air of any scents that could be nearby. Why did this situation feel all too familiar to him?
