  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 420px; overflow: auto; font-size: 8pt; text-align: justify; color: silver; font-family: georgia;]Jinya settled himself in his humble abode, having cleaned up around the place since it had collected a fair amount of dust since his last time in SunClan which had been a few months ago. The kitsune was secretly glad that the things he had left in the hut were still there, untouched by grubby or greedy paws. It looked like he wouldn't need to go replacing the stuff he had and that pleased him. Jinya walked among the hut, bringing down various things from the makeshift cabinets he made and placing them back when he didn't find the thing he needed. He was looking for green tea leaves so that he could make his tea. He was tired today and thought he could make do with some tea.

Soon, he found what he had needed and smiled just faintly when he looked at the final ingredient he had needed. Turning and waltzing to that special place where he made his tea just outside of his hut, he settled himself over a pot that was filled with boiling water settled over an open flame. He carefully dumped the tea leaves in and, with a wooden spoon, began to stir. After a few minutes passed, Jinya conjured his tea cup and went to pick up the pot, only to hiss out in pain when his tongue touched the hot handle.

"D-Dammit! Fuck, fuck, fuck!" He hissed out, dropping the pot of tea, spilling its steaming contents all over his paws where he picked them up and danced out of the liquid that spread rapidly across the ground. The burning sensation at his maws made him whimper and whine before an anguished snarl ripped through his throat but the anger only lasted for a brief moment before he sighed and kicked over the pot that had originally held his tea. "Stupid piece of shit." He grumbled before heaving another sigh and leaning downwards to pick up the pot and place it back over the boiler. He kicked dirt over the fire until it was just smoldering and kicked dirt over the wasted tea as well.

Well, it looked like he wasn't going to be having any tea.

Tired and irritated, the three tailed kitsune plopped onto his rump with a bad-tempered huff escaping him.

( Whoa, last minute muse boost. I'm sorry )

  • [fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; width: 375px;][justify]She wasn't very good at minding her own business, despite wanting others to do so. As such, it wasn't a surprise that the kit rushed over quietly in the way that she usually did. Light on her paws, sneaky, quiet.. and graceful. Please don't forget that part; she lived and breathed that word.

Ever so silently, Arabella peered into the doorway of the stranger's room. He was a kitsune like her! Except not white, like she an her mom. But he had gold eyes, too. That was pretty neat. The child stood in the doorway, watching. Her staring was as intimidating and odd as it could get. That is, if Jinya was intimidated by kids. "Hello," Bella was rather polite and didn't just enter his space uninvited. Hopefully he wouldn't tell her to just piss off, because then she would either get stubborn and stay or she might turn manipulative.

The black kitsune wrenched his head in the kid's direction, golden eyes landing upon her features for just a moment. He blinked rapidly, tails lashing behind him and a slightly puzzled face making its way onto his face briefly before it disappeared and became a look of slight vexation. He could have sworn he had felt like he had been watched before... Was it this little shit who had been staring at him and giving him that weird feeling of being stalked? Weird. Jinya furrowed his fictive eyebrows, his jaw clenching and loosening, and he continuously shifted his weight on his paws.

"Hey... kid. Jesus, could you not stare at me like that? It's weird." He said bluntly, flickering his ears as he tore his gaze away from the child, looking anywhere but at the other kitsune. For a moment, he felt himself tense up. He seriously didn't like that feeling of being watched. It made him wholly uneasy, even if it was just a kid who was staring at him. Anyway, he felt this presence wavering off Arabella and it was a familiar one, too. Ah, geez. He held his cross firmly in his paw, continuously fiddling with the cold silver accessory as he glanced ahead.

  • [fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; width: 375px;][justify]It was like he was ying and she was yang. Except a more weird version because he was actually holding a cross and that me her skin feel tight. The fire on her paws flickered a bit before disappearing again. At the comment about her gaze, she would look down at the shiny cross in his hands before looking around his room. "Oh, yes. Sorry." The kitsune forced a smile on her face. She really was not hostile, but whatever this guy was doing was stirring something inside of her. The outer corners of her vision was kind of black, like someone was trying to cover it and pull her away. "Uh.. what are you doing?" That was such a broad question. He probably wouldn't understand, and the fem wasn't even sure what she was asking. He was just standing there, after all. She leaned in a little bit, eyes lifting up to his face as she smiled nervously. Something about this was sketchy. Maybe it was her.

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 420px; overflow: auto; font-size: 8pt; text-align: justify; color: silver; font-family: georgia;]Jinya flinched visibly as fire momentarily appeared and seemed to lap at the younger one's paws before extinguishing themselves, making him blink slowly and swallow thickly. Did this one have fire elementals? He had never really met anyone with that sort of power, but he didn't want to be around anyone who could control fire to their will. He wasn't scared of fire (that was obvious, he just got finished making tea) but he hated to see what someone could do with such a power. The thought of someone controlling fire, making the red hot flames lap at his fur, burning him... it made him tense up and only did the white kitsune's voice bring him back into reality.

He breathed in before he turned, pulling the now half-empty can of tea leaves towards himself where he would carry them back to his makeshift cabinet and place them inside before turning back to Arabella when he heard her question. "What...? Uh well, I was making tea. But it spilled on me." He resisted the urge to rant to Arabella about the piping hot pot he had dropped. "Other than that, nothing really... I was about to cleanse my room." He responded, not entirely giving a full layout of what he was going to do with his room. The child probably didn't even know what "cleansing" meant. It was a simple term (at least to an exorcist) and he didn't expect the youthful one to know about sage burning.

  • [fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; width: 375px;][justify]Her shoulders had tensed up a bit when he turned his back, and her paws forced her forward and she nearly tripped through his door. It was like she was gravitating towards him. The alabaster kid didn't like whatever the Hell was going on. This wasn't his fault. It wasn't hers, either. Bella forced herself to stay put. "Oh, that's unfortunate." She commented lightly on the spilled tea. That was a waste- she practically lived off of liquids. Soon, she would discover hot chocolate. Not until the weather was colder though. "Oh.. cleaning? Do you need help?" Her chest felt kind of empty.

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 420px; overflow: auto; font-size: 8pt; text-align: justify; color: silver; font-family: georgia;]Jinya had simply nodded his head in reply to Arabella, whom he was getting major vibes from. He couldn't exactly pinpoint what he thought was wrong with her, but something about this child was rubbing him the wrong way. He was already agitated with what happened a few moments ago with him spilling tea over himself and whatnot, but this feeling he could not shake off was further irritating him though he did not know whether or not this child could pick up on such a slight alteration in his expression. Jinya flickered his gaze behind him, watching as Arabella nearly stumbled into his home. He didn't care much, at least for now.

However, he let the ghost of a smirk curl upon his thin black lips when the girl spoke up again. "No, not cleaning. Cleansing." He corrected, before moving his paw into his leather satchel and pulling out some sage. He conjured a lighter and flicked open the top. Since it was an oil lighter, it the fire flickered to life in the metal container. He simply touched the greedy tip of the fire to the sage plant and the herb was caught aflame. It's acrid stench floated into the air and Jinya eyed Arabella momentarily, tails lashing behind him as he walked about his room, carrying the burning sage with him as he did so to spread out the smoke.

"I'm Jinya. Jinya Xerses. Your name, kid?"

  • [fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; width: 375px;][justify]Her eyes followed not his face, but rather his paws. It was like she was paying very close attention to what he was doing, rather than tossing it aside. Bella still didn't catch this 'cleansing' vibe, but something inside her broke loose when he lit the sage and started towards her. You would almost expect her eyes to roll into the back of her head. "Uh.. Arabella.. Hawthorn-Muse-Norwood-Vexed." The all white child scrambled for words, as her paws pushed her up as if they had their own mind. They were completely on fire now, like Hell itself was gripping her by the ankles and pulling down. Inside her, the Demon of Finesse was pretty much about to spontaneously combust. Bella laughed nervously as she backed out. "I'm sorry, but I-uh.." Really her paws were moving on their own, and they felt heavy as they forced her out the doorframe. "I really have to go?" It was more of a question; yet her body turned without giving much memo to her head. At this point she was starting to understand what was going on. "Thanks for the chat!" Her rep with that guy wasn't soiled. The child kind of just let her paws guide her- there was really no trying to turn around right now. And it appeared she was going off towards a forest.
