  • ((i like it it's a preeetty font xD I used it for my newest advanced bio))
Shikon smiled and walked out the door, into the crisp night. She looked around, towards the sky, where it looked like the sun would be rising soon. "I'm glad we left early," She said, partly to herself. "The sun's gonna rise soon." Buster looked around.

  • ((xD Shweet x3
By the way, I think I said Sebastian had brown hair earlier. He has black hair...My bad xD))

Sebastian yawned, growing a bit tired. He wasn't exactly nocturnal or anything--he just didn't sleep. It probably wasn't healthy, but it didn't seem to affect him much. "Then we should get there soon. Hop on," he paused, growing larger and changing form until he was a large black horse. He flicked his tail, waiting for Shikon to jump on. He wouldn't be as tired going there in some kind of animal form, and this wasn't exactly your average 'prince charming on a white horse' story, but it was close.

  • ((lol! I've been thinking he has brown hair this whole time xD))
Shikon smiled, wasting no time climbing onto his back and getting comfortable--sort of. She grabbed a hold of his withers. "Don't go too fast," She said. "Or else Buster won't be able to keep up."
Buster, looking nervous, stood by Sebastian's side.

  • ((My bad xD))

The horse tossed it's head in what resembled a nod, and then he was off. Sebastian ran at a steady trot, slow enough for the dog to keep up but quickly enough for them to make it to the cave in a matter of minutes. As he planned, they were already crashing through the forest in just under five; however, he slowed down, smelling others nearby. It wasn't often large groups of people randomly ventured into the forest--certainly not armed with gunpowder, which he also smelled strongly in the air. He finally slowed to a stop, kicking up dirt as he did so.

  • Shikon now remembered why she didn't like riding bareback, but the thought was pushed from her mind as the scent of gunpowder reached her nostrils, along with scents of people. Puzzled, she slid off of Sebastian's back and looked around. Buster, having ran at the horse's side the entire way, was laying down at the foot of a tree.

  • Sebastian trotted forward some, a familiar scent flooding over him. And then he heard voices, one of them very distinct; Jace. He glanced back at Shikon, who was a little ways away, wondering if she'd heard too.

"I'll go see who it is. Try to keep Buster here--I don't want him to alert whoever it is of our arrival," he said to her, in his human form, before disappearing ahead. As he walked, he once again shifted, but this time into a smaller form--a snake. He slithered over the leaves, looking deadly than any snake you'd ever see; what, with his strange coloration--pure black, with a silver gleam. It was like some species from a horror movie.

He neared the cave, and slithered in unnoticed, Jace caught in an argument with the woman, and the guards not bothering to look at the ground; no, they were looking for people, not a snake. The woman had failed to mention to them that the man they happened to be looking for was an expert shapeshifter, quite a valuable face. Sebastian slithered in behind poor Jace, and before the boy realized what was happening, he dropped to the ground unconscious from a bite from Sebastian. The woman blinked, looking as if she wasn't sure what happened.

  • Shikon's eyes widened as she was finally able to untangle the scents, finding that one of them belonged to Jace. She wondered what he'd be doing back here, but didn't think about it too long before she started off towards her cave, but she stopped just outside the entrance, hidden from sight.
    ((oh hey--we reached 600 posts xD I didn't notice...let's try for a thousand!))

  • ((Oh, cool .3.
Yeah, let's. That just means we have to keep up our muse...No biggie...))

Sebastian shifted back into his human form, his usual dazzling smile gone. He was frowning now, down at Jace. "You might as well come inside," he called to Shikon, who he could smell standing outside the cave. "No point in standing around out there. I think these people have business to do with you," he said, not noticing the flicker of recognition passing across the woman's face.

  • ((lol! yeah no biggie xD))
Shikon hesitated a moment before entering the cave, Buster at her heels. "I don't know any of these people." She said, her red gaze raking the group.
((i am low on muse right now, cuz i've been using it for my advanced bios))

  • ((Same, cept different reason x3))

Sebastian blinked, his frown deepening. "Really? Then why--," he paused, raising a hand and plucking a shiny, silver object from the air as it suddenly flew towards him out of nowhere at an impossibly fast speed; it was amazing anyone could have reflexes like that. Now looking straight at the woman, after a moment of silence, he lowered the object so that it was level with his eyes. "You just shot a tranquilizer dart at me. Why?" He questioned calmly, studying it before letting it drop to the floor. The woman's eyes widened, and she now looked afraid. She kept quiet, saying nothing.

  • Shikon ignored him, her eyes locked on the unconscious Jace. "Will Jace be okay?" She asked, tearing her gaze from Jace to Sebastian.

  • Sebastian blinked, glancing at Shikon. "He'll be fine," he said slowly, slipping his hand into his pocket and pulling out a tiny glass vial filled with a clear liquid. "As long as he takes this. I'll make sure he does later."

  • A small sigh of relief escaped Shikon's mouth. She crossed her arms, looking back at the woman. "So, would you like to tell me why you're here?" She asked, gaining some of her confidence back.

  • Sebastian slid the antidote to the venom of his bite--in any venomous form--back into his pocket, falling silent and listening as Shikon took the stage.
    -
After gaining a bit of nerve, the woman cleared her throat. "Y-yez, of courze. Ve are here for ze boy," she said, pointing a thin finger at Sebastian. "Or, ze zhing, if you vill."

  • Shikon looked puzzled. "Why?" She asked.
    [FAIL. -.-]

  • Sebastian frowned once more, looking just as confused as Shikon.
    -
"Eet eez not your buzinezz," the woman snapped, getting her fierceness back. "Now, if you vill?" She motioned for Sebastian to follow her, but he stayed put. "Come now, boy. I do not vant to vazte any more time, leaving you here vith zat girl." She decided to try to take another route, and glanced at Shikon. "Look, you are in danger, he needz to be in captivity."

  • "I think it is my business." Shikon argued, eyes narrowing. "You're in my cave, on my turf. Now tell me why you want Sebastian 'in captivity'."
    [AND it left. :(]

  • Sebastian remained silent, as if they weren't talking about him.
    -
"You are a ztupid girl, we did zhiz to keep you zafe!" The woman barked, annoyance flashing in her slate grey gaze. "Now, I do not need to reazon vith you. Zebaztian, come, now."
    -
Sebastian looked as if he were about to finally speak up for himself, but a tranquilizer dart had embedded itself in his shoulder before he could. He blinked, wincing slightly as he plucked it out, and sighed. "You people really won't listen to reason, will you?" He muttered, swaying slightly on his feet.

  • Shikon stepped in front of Sebastian, hoping he wouldn't pass out but still knowing he would. "He's not going anywhere until you give me a good reason to let you take him." She growled, holding both daggers--which she had kept hidden--out at ready. Buster stood at her side, growling.

  • "What eez eet vith you kidz and your ztupid, zilly gamez?!" The woman shouted, way past the point of mad. She said a few brisk words in Russian, and the guards were on Shikon in an instant. Before they could reach her, however, there was a large black tiger in their way, a vicious snarl on its face. It leaped at the nearest guard, pinning him and growling down in his face. The poor man looked just about ready to call it quits, but Sebastian did nothing. The other guard, looking alarm, made as if to run off, but before he escaped, a boom echoed throughout the cave walls. The tiger let out a roar, followed by a dull thud as he fell aside and onto the ground, and the men disappeared from view, scrambling out of the cave. The woman didn't look any happier, though. She stared at Shikon as if they were feuding sisters, making no move to disarm her.
