    Specify the issue; I need help on giving more depth into my posts, I tend to ramble as well. I just need help on all roleplaying p much. My posts aren't one-liners, I can probably get an okay paragraph as my normal post length.

    Well, you seem you have an okay start(and mind you, 'okay' isn't as close to bad as you think). Do you want to improve in cats, dogs, humans, or other animal roleplay? I can probably hook you up with a suiting tutor once I know. By ramble, do you have problems with run-on sentences? And are you looking for help on descriptive writing.     I currently roleplay in the main game, so cats and dogs !! I tend to use run-on sentences, but sometimes I type short, choppy sentences as well. Yes, descriptive writing would be perfect!

    Wanted to share this.


    First post: Badgerstipe padded through the thorn tunnel into camp. He headed for the entrance to the warrior's den and sat down. He rapped his tail around his paws and looked around.


    First form: Name:Seakit (Seastorm when warrior)
    Gender:male
    Rank:kit, needs a mother
    Looks:Dark grey tabby
    Personality: Love's getting wet. Seakit is a very good swimmer for his age. He is very fast and loves to run. He loves to pretend to catch prey. He Will obey the warrior code. He doesn't like to hurt other cats, but if he has to he will.
    Mate/crush:Not old enough but he does call himself the ladies man



    Most recent post: For a moment, Cloudstar didn't seem to hear her. Then suddenly, he was jerked out of his thoughts and away from the rock. He finally looked at Snowypaw as he spoke. "I suppose it could be one though I wouldn't know. Maybe take it to one of the medicine cats and ask if they have had any dreams about it." He meowed. He wasn't usually as easily distracted as he was just now but he wasn't sure what it was. There was something about this wrong that made him think Starclan but he couldn't be sure if was an omen or not. Besides, the forest had been peaceful for a while now. What omen could they possibly receive?

    Big difference. It's interesting looking back at your old posts from four years ago. I was a lot different then...

    This is one of my older posts from apparently 2014, it was on an old account of mine. I remember being on here longer then that with an even older account. Apparently I don't know when I joined, or what account it was with. I've had many different accounts over the span of my time on this website.


    Old post: 2014- Brokennight was walking along until she smelled a Sky Clanner. She looked around to see were the smell was coming from the she noticed a Leopardess with a blue boa dragging on the ground. She then looked at her red dog toothed collar. "Collars are way better." She growled quietly then walked out into the open with her nose stuck to the air. Brokennight was a little overly confident over herself and thinks of herself as the loveliest cat of the forest.



    I guess it does kind of make you think a little bit. Also, notice how almost all of my sentences just start out with either BrokenNight or She. I think that's when I realized that my posts needed a larger variety, rather then just that.
    I'll do my best to find the very first post I ever made. Wish me luck, its probably buried deep within at this point. XD

(actually, i mightn't need any help at all - i just thought this would be useful, and if i don't need it, oh well)

    mysticmagic , the Feralfront community is fun and safe. You shouldn't need to worry about anything, just throw yourself into a roleplay! I remember the first time I started Feralfront- it was a mess. You'll overcome your anxiety of Feralfront eventually! If this isn't what you're looking for in an answer to your issue, please specify in a reply :)
    @Muteyy, since you roleplay both dogs and cats, I can help you roleplay dogs while one of the other tutors can help you roleplay cats(I'm not really a cat roleplayer, heh). Feel free to ask any of them. If the other tutors are not up to teaching you, I'm more than glad to become your tutor for both animals. Please PM the tutor(s) you are interested in working with!
    @Melodic Wolves, what do you roleplay mostly? Judging from your screenname and profile pic, I'm guessing you like to roleplay wolves/canines. PM the tutor(s) you are interested in working with! You should be able to see the tutor's real screennames if you scroll through the posts.

    When you have conversational posts, you could try thinking how your character would think while he/she's answering. For example, if your character is responding to an accusation, you could write that he felt abused by the others or they didn't let him tell his side of the story. You could elaborate his feelings as he responds so it'd make your post longer :)

    I would say maybe elaborate more on the dream itself or if you don't want to do that, more on his feelings towards the dream? You can even describe the weather in the post when he leaves the den.
