he was a very busy business man. with hardly enough time to deal with his personal life, he's constantly holed away in his study room researching foreign countries resources and their current imports/exports. though he is the owner of a prestigious manor on the outskirts of a peaceful upper-class village, he has little time to clean and maintain it. an agency in charge of maids and cleaning services is the first he calls, and they inform him that a person is on the way to help before a giant mess accumulates. with this in mind, he can concentrate on his tasks at hand.

it was midday, the sun high in the sky and shining down brightly on the garden of the berne's manor. passed down from several generations, the colossal structure stood intimidatingly high above the ground. kal, having woken hours prior, found himself wandering down stairs with a large newspaper in hand, reading the news travelling from miles south of a new butcher shop opening up. he'd have to make a mental reminder to phone marketing center later and ask of complete worth of the business, building included. sighing, he arrived downstairs and went straight for the kitchen, hoping a cup of coffee would wake him up slightly.
all regards to the new arriving maid slipped his mind while he continually read the fine print of the paper.
