  • [fancypost borderwidth=0; width: 400px;][justify]★— Virgo was sitting in a mud puddle, feeling the stinging of their words stuck in his skin like cactus needles.

He had been playing a game with the older cubs and kittens, romping around when suddenly— SPLASH! He slipped in the mud and got it coated all the way up to his chin. He stood back up, grinning, but suddenly, one of them pointed at him and yelled, "Look at him! He's covered in poop!"

It may have not seemed devastating to the majority of ScarClan, but for a young child, all he wanted to do was become one with his older peers. It was hard to do that when they were all laughing at him.

He could have whined to his mother or siblings, but then one of them added, "Gonna tell Mommy? What a baby!" With those words being said, Virgo felt fierce hatred brewing inside of him, but he fought it down with more anger. He grit his teeth. He'd show them! He'd grow up even faster than they did! He'd be serious and calm and show them what a bunch of stupidheads they looked like! That was what he would do until it became part of his personality! Yes!

"What Are you kids doing?" Stu frowned, looking them over. We're hey picking on Virgo? He wasn't sure. He hadn't been picked on himself, well not in the typical ways. The serval looked the children ever. How hey could be so mean to each other was being him.

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 400px; text-align: justify; font-size: 8pt; color:#;]Alex was young, yes, but she was not as young as dear Virgo. "Hey, I think he pulls it off quite well. I know I couldn't wear mud and look as stellar as him!" Alex barked, smiling at Virgo. The poor guy didn't deserve all the mean comments that were being thrown at him.

  • [fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px;][justify][size=9pt]"What in the fuck?" Pollux didn't bother to filter himself around kids anymore. They'd grow up to hear it eventually, and most of them had the natural intuition to know a bad word when they heard one, so they (hopefully) wouldn't use it. Perhaps he was a hypocrite for being irritated that these kids were bullying Virgo - he was a bully to his 'peers' himself - but Virgo was young and small, he didn't deserve this kind of treatment from the people he looked up to and admired. Nah, fuck that.

Pollux normally kept his pelt very, very clean. He didn't enjoy grooming for a long time, so he did it in short periods several times throughout the day. Today, though, he could make an exception. The snow leopard dove into the mud, making sure to get a nice and even coating of the sticky stuff all over his fur. He was now equally as dirty as Virgo, and if any of these kids made fun of him, he'd kick them into the mud, too.

"Next person to make fun of Virgo gets a mouthful of mud," Pollux snickered, taking a seat next to the wolf pup and wrapping his tail comfortingly around him. "I guarantee, you've never looked cooler than you do now." See? He wasn't such a bad guy.

  • [justify][fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 350px; line-height: 15px; font-size: 8pt; font-family: arial;]it was good that pollux had beat jemma to telling them off, or she would have said more than one curse, and threatened with something that lasted longer than just the residual taste and feeling of moist soil in their mouths. the achilles appeared beside stu, sharing a similar look but more pointed than his, with her deep brown gaze. while she didn't like virgo, she didn't dislike him either. though second chances weren't typically her style, a small part of her felt she'd been to harsh to judge as he, along with his siblings, were younger than the regulars she decided wouldn't be on her good side, far from the starting age. she wasn't going to go with alex's and pol's ruses, either, but she would keep her eyes on the group of adolescence that were beginning to get away. "they better run," she muttered under her breath.

  • [fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; width: 270px;][justify][size=8]Edgar watched is brother sulk, gritting his teeth and looking for all the world like someone had just personally insulted his mother. Their mother. Mothers?
He said nothing to Virgo, not even going as far as to make eye contact with them, but watched those who had picked on him with a fierce gaze; when others joined him in the mud, the fire in his eyes faded into something like annoyance.
Why do that when you could just beat the shit out of the kids who had made fun of him? That did nothing. They weren't going to be punished. They were just going to get off the hook. Maybe they'd laugh even more. Lost in his loop of angry thoughts, Edgar chewed his lip and looked back to Virgo. He snorted, though not unkindly, and made his way over to the mud as well. He didn't drench himself; instead he just sat in it and smeared one lone streak across his face.
    "This is dumb."[/fancypost]

Bullies always lacked brain and class, something the small pup appreciated. Saga sat on the rim of the mud puddle, electing not to soil her fur. Nonetheless, she did attempt to cheer up the downhearted male before her. "Ya know, in some clan's, mud is used as camouflage on a soldier's pelt. With that much mud, you're basically a warrior right now." The girl said, not quite certain if that fact was true but, banking on the fact that it would probably cheer up the other child, she told him anyway.

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px; font-size: 8pt; text-align: justify; width: 420px]the feline was never one to fight back against bullies; much to the fact she never even noticed they were bullying her. Walking over to the small group, Kostía looked down at the wolf pup, covered in mud. This brought a small smile to her face, but not because it was funny. It looks fitting on you, Virgo. she mused, ears flicking as she let the tip of her mits dip into the muddy substance.

Bullies were everywhere, sadly, most of the people in this clan were guilty of being just that. Everyone was guilty of being a bully and to say they hated them was hypocritical. Mae was almost annoyed when she found the boy being picked on, though, because it wasn't fair for him. No child should ever have to be teased. They'd just end up like her. She padded up quietly, flicking her tail against the ground as she sat down. [/fancypost]

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0; width: 400px;][justify]★— Suddenly, Virgo was surrounded by ScarClanners, all angry on the behalf of himself. The children didn't think twice before scattering off throughout the territory, not seeming to have learned their lessons, but still away all the same. Voices chimed all around him, some gruffly sticking up for him and others commenting on how the mud suited him. He blinked back tears, watching his brother barely even react.

What did he feel about this? He felt grateful. But mainly ashamed. He had to have, what, eight ScarClanners helping him get rid of a few kits? His ears lowered, but he put on a small smile. "Thanks, guys." he murmured, gaze downcast. He'd like to pay thanks to them all individually, but there were too many to count for his little vision. Studentpaw, wasn't it? And Alex, some badass guy he didn't know, Jenma, Edgar, Saga, a cool-looking wildcat he also didn't know, and Sylmae.

Yes, he'd thank them for real. Later.

Scarclan didn't tolerate lots of things, but Dodger himself hated it when people were unkind. It was entirely unnecessary, especially to someone who meant you no harm. "Do you want to go for a swim before it starts to stick to your fur?" He hated it when that happened, it took ages to get all the dirt out, and his claws were usually caked with them.
