(Shiny Krookodile is pretty cool, though I usually don't have the patience for shiny hunting X3 The only shinies I've come across by pure accident was Sentret, Absol, Pidgey, and the Shiny Gyrados in HGSS)
By the next morning, Kaede had stirred slightly as his eyes opened to turn to look at Akira still in his arms. Moving slightly, he slipped away from her as he went to go out of the room, though just as he did with closing the shōji behind him, he already heard Eshima down the hall, her tone soft, "Kaede, you know she has to go back." His ears twitched as he turned to look at her, his eyes narrowing, "I can keep her here awhile longer, I can protect her. She'll be with me forever-"
"She was born in the future Kaede. She was not meant for this current era. Surely, you know this much."
He went silent, looking away from the woman as his jaw clenched. "You will see her again, but it won't be for some time. She'll meet a you that had survived to see the future." Kaede's eyes narrowed as he glared at Eshima, "How are you so certain about this?" Eshima paused then sighed, "I don't know... I just have a feeling. But, use that tone again with me fox and you'll most certainly regret it." Kaede rolled his eyes, though he looked away muttering, "Yeah... Eshima, I have to do something really quickly. I won't be gone for too long." Kaede's eyes turned back towards the woman, "Just look over Akira in the meantime alright?" Yet without waiting for the woman to respond, the fox was already gone, his body engulfed by foxfire until it had disappeared without a trace. Eshima huffed, "Impatient fox... no matter..." She moved towards the shōji, sliding it open, "Akira?"
-
((Yeah,I don't either.xD I've only ran into three shinies in the past 10years I've been playing.))
Akira let out a small noise as she stirred before opening her eyes.the first thing she noticed, with a small bit of disappointment, that Kaede was gone. She stretched a little, turning her attention to Eshima, blinking her sleep filled eyes."Huh...yeah?"she asked, stifling a yawn.

((Bump?)) -
(Sorry about that, school for senior year really started off busy and a lot of things got in the way >.<)
-
((It's all good,i understand that:)))
-
Eshima moved forward towards the room, peering in with a slight smile upon her face, "If you're wondering where Kaede went, he said he needed to go somewhere and he'll return soon." She took a few seconds to pause, green gaze seeming a bit lost in thought as if in deep contemplation before a simple smile played across the woman's lips, though apologetic, "Ah, I'm sorry if I woke you." Of course she wanted Akira to get as much rest as possible, not wanting her to be exhausted especially with the events that had happened. Though, she did feel a bit of pity with a tint of sadness, it wouldn't be long so she felt that Akira would return to her own time. She didn't know why she was so certain of such a fact; it simply felt like it to the woman.
-
Akira shook her head, stretching slightly."It's ok,I probably would've woken up when I sensed Kaede was gone."She said. The female was obviously still tired from yesterday's dilemmas but she felt oddly nervous, letting her know she wouldn't be able to sleep even if she wanted. However,Akira wasn't sure where her nervousness stemmed from,Was it because he was gone?or was it because she felt something looming, maybe the end of her time here?she wasn't sure.
-
Eshima smiled ever so slightly though it was still apologetic, "I see.." Her eyes turned away from her if only for a moment before she looked back to her, "I'll go ahead and make some food for you." She bowed her head slightly towards her before turning away and walking off, no doubt to prepare a meal for her. It seemed however that Kaede was still nowhere in sight.
-
Akira yawned softly, sitting up."Thankyou."she called out softly as Eshima left.she stood up and stretched, her hair was a mess from how peacefully she had slept. She smiled and fixed it,
((A bit rushed,I'm sorry)) -
(Its ok)
It wasn't long after Eshima had left the room, mostly a few minutes that a soft knock could be heard upon the shoji before it slid open with Kaede returning. The fox seemed rather pleased with himself, though as for what it clearly didn't seem obvious at all. Instead, his eyes then had focused upon Akira an eyebrow raised ever so slightly only for him to walk over towards her and said simply, "You seem well rested." It certainly was a good thing after everything that happened.
-
The female giggled softly, her mood brightening a little as she heard him."I guess so...It was definitely peaceful..."she said, referring to how at peace she'd been in his arms, knowing he was safe the prior night.Akira gave him a look, noticing he seemed proud about something."and you seem to be in a good mood."she pointed out with a small smile.
-
"Hmm? Oh yeah." His eyes turned away from her briefly, then he looked back towards her with a very slight smile, not really saying anything further about the subject. Though before he could say more, he looked over his shoulder towards the shoji as the scent of food had wafted in as Eshima walked in, glancing over towards Kaede only to say plainly, "Oh, back so soon?" Kaede simply shrugged, though moving out of the way so that Eshima wouldn't have to walk around him, remaining quiet about what he had been up to. Eshima raised an eyebrow at him though she moved past and placed the tray of food she had before Akira, "Here you go."
-
Akira found it slightly odd that he didn't say anything else about it,but she didn't question it.His slight smile had caused her to give one back...To her those smiles where rare and actually sweet...Kaede looked better smiling than he did with his normal smirk in her opinion. She saw Eshima come in and she smiled again"Thankyou."She said as She put the food down.
-
Eshima cast her a soft smile, "Its no problem." However her gaze briefly turned upon Kaede, however it was only for a few seconds as she raised an eyebrow at him as if questioning what he had been up to when he left, however she turned and walked out of the room though after a few moments, Kaede then spoke up quietly, "When you're done eating, I need to show you something."
-
Akira watched Eshima go,catching the momentary eyebrow raise at Kaede. She couldn't help but wonder where he'd gone...but she had to admit,She was glad to see him up and about after the battles of the previous day.Her Blue-Violet gaze turned to him as he spoke, her previous curiousity diverted to the question of what he might want to show her."Alright."She replied softly.
A little while later she was finished and she was ready to go."Ok,I'm all ready to go."she told him, smiling slightly.
-
Kaede had waited patiently for her, his attention seemed to be averted elsewhere as if there was something else that had so grabbed his attention. His eyes turned to focus upon her however as soon as she said she was done and with a satisfied nod of his head he said crisply, "Let's go then." Of course it seemed like he was brimming with impatience, or was it a slight anxiety? One could never be too sure when it came to Kaede. Either way, the fox began walking at a swift pace as he made his way out of Eshima's house and began walking the usual long way around the village though with the continuous twitching of his tail was clear that whatever Kaede was to show her no doubt wouod be something. The further they got, the further it seemed as if he was walking into the deeply forested area until he stopped at a clearing, though it was a good hour's walk from the village and yet the scenery truly was colorful and full of life, the trees appeared to be in perfect bloom alongside the many blooming flowers, a place clearly undisturbed by anyone.
-
Akira had followed his lead, questions and curiousity swirling in her brain.Despite how distracting her thoughts could be she was able to keep up with his brisk pace easily. She would occasionally glance up at him, looking for any emotions that could tell her where they might be going. She was quiet despite all the questions she had, just trying to keep up.She was relieved when he finally slowed down, her legs hurting slightly. She looked up and a small gasp escaped her,her eyes going big in wonder."she this what you wanted to show me?"she asked him softly, turning her crystalline gaze towards Kaede."It's beautiful,"
-
Kaede's gaze fixated ahead, though upon Akira speaking up he had turned his head towards her and with a very faint smile he turned his head away, "Not quite. Though I had a feeling you would love this place." His gaze scanned over everything if only for a few more moments only for him to turn towards her, though his face was difficult to read his heart certainly was feeling a hollow ache. He felt truly he wouldn't see Akira again for awhile, and the expression on her face further deepened such pain. He was being selfish, he didn't ever want her to leave his grasp.
Without thinking, his arms reached out and enveloped her in a tight embrace, murmuring softly, "I don't want you to leave.." His face was losing its calm composure, his ears flattening in a clear sign of distress as he whispered, "I feel like if I let go of you now that you'll disappear again.. I don't want that... Stay with me." His grip loosened slightly, however he still kept her close to him.
-
Akira had felt confused,Kaede was acting off today...She wasn't sure what could be causing it...maybe he could sense her time running out too?Her blue-purple eyes were concerned as she gazed at him, eventually melting in surprise as he pulled her in for a tight embrace. She finally understood as he spoke,he didn't want her to leave...she didn't want to leave either...but she knew she'd be forced to at some point.she slowly wrapped her arms around him, refusing to pull away even when his embrace loosened..."Kaede.."she spoke softly"I won't leave you....I...I never want to leave you...you crazy fox."She said, her last words filled with love and adoration.however her smile fell a little.."I want us to stay together forever...but I know that both of us know I could be thrown back to my own time at any time...If that happens it won't be my choice...but as long as it is...I won't leave you...you mean the world to me..."She said, her eyes filling with tears as she hugged him again.
-
Kaede held her tightly yet again, muttering quietly, "Idiot.." He took in a breath as he closed his eyes muttering, "Saying things like that just hurts me even more..." His hands gripped her tightly as he turned his head, breathing in her scent that had become so familiar and comforting to him and altogether soothed him. He knew with certainty that he didn't want Akira to leave, he wanted to utterly keep her close and never wanted to let her leave his sight... he wanted her to stay with him forever even if that was an impossibility, he truthfully didn't want her to leave. He knew better though, that her mere presence there was only to fix a possible mistake of the past and she would return to her own time and leave him here in the past.. He really didn't want that. He really loved her and she further pulled at his emotions making him feel quite agitated yet completely in love with the human woman he was holding so close to him. "..Akira.."
He leaned away, though he could feel as if she truly would vanish before him again as if these moments would be slipping by so quickly. He hated this feeling, though if he wasn't going to have much time left then he would take advantage of the time he did have left. "If this is the last time we see each other at least for awhile, promise me this," His golden eyes seemed to be burning passionately, though it was clear he was hiding the pain of possibly being separated from her, "Marry me if we do meet again. No one else will have you, understand? If we do meet five hundred years from now, I want you to be mine and mine alone." The possessiveness in his tone was clear, he didn't quite like the idea of Akira being possibly with anyone else other than him and considering how devoted already he seemed to be to Akira, surely the fox was quite determined to keep her near. However one thing was uncertain, how would Kaede be five hundred years from that point in time? Surely it seemed it would be quite awhile if they were to see each other.
