만세 - private plotting

eunmi. though they're from the same company, i'm wondering what the chances would have been of them interacting at some point. i'd like to imagine they talked a few odd times, like from passing by and socializing or offering help with something. if they kept in contact, i could see younghyun calling eunmi up when he gets stressed with work and such, or if he's upset with the company for the way they treated his groupmates, because she's easy to talk to. her friendliness and confidence would set him at ease and it would be a comfort to him to listen to her talk when he's in a bad place. of course he'd offer her support if she needed it, because he likes to be there for people and is quite good at advice. there also may be a possibility of lame shy lil younghyun developing a crush on her.

yejun. younghyun would be very iffy about yejun. how hostile he and the others in busan boys are towards other companies and the high horse he's on would no doubt serve to piss him off repeatedly should they ever interact. but he'd just take deep breaths, grit his teeth and wish them luck, whilst internally probably wanting to throttle yejun right then and there for his attitude. despite this, he'd lowkey feel very sorry for him, cause he figures that something must've happened to make him act in that way? plus younghyun's dad mode would probably kick in and he'd end up trying to get yejun to tell him what was up, if there even was anything.

minjae. i feel like he'd sympathize with minjae's annoyance that aim won't listen to his probably pretty damn good suggestions because of the way ex ent treats their members. he'd encourage him to think a little more positively, like the fact that the company is actually very good to the group aside from that. he'd also strongly resonate with the fact that minjae is clumsy when not dancing, because of how clumsy he himself is and how the ground seems to love attracting his body to it. also, though he doesn't really know minjae well, if they were in the same place and somebody was taking advantage of the fact that he wasn't standing his ground, younghyun would go mother bear on their booties and stand up for minjae and his ideas and opinions.

kitae. again, i don't feel he'd get a lot of interaction with kitae, and most of his opinion would be based on the younger's on-camera appearances. so he'd seem as like a cute lil bro type of guy, like the kid that would waddle into your room and ask for help with his homework or something with an adorable gummy smile. so he's pretty much blind to kitae's, um, less desirable side i'm gonna call it, because how adorable he is performing kind of distracts from that and he doesn't interact with him often enough.

sooyoung. very simply for sooyoung, she's precious, and younghyun's fatherly instincts would immediately kick in and make him want to protect her from the world. he'd remind her to eat and take care of herself if it slipped her mind, and like, if she came to him upset, he'd immediately go for a weapon and start a manhunt.

eunmi. i don't see much interaction happening between the two of them, but shaiming loves to talk, so if they did meet and socialize a bit i can imagine him rambling endlessly and her just sat listening with this amused smile on her face. she'd kind of doze off and be half-paying attention until the story ends in some weird way and she has to ask about it because she's confused - "wait so when did the raccoon get into your freezer again??"

yejun. shaiming would look up to yejun so much, because of his general funny and clever personality. how confident he is and how he performs would inspire him to try and work a hell of a lot better, even though he'd end up accidentally lazing off again oops oh well. similar to younghyun with kitae, he'd be very oblivious to how cocky and temperamental yejun could be. plus shaiming does not understand sarcasm, so should yejun try to snark him out in a sarcastic way, he'd just kinda cock his head to the side and keep smiling like "okay dongsaeng......?? wanna play hide and seek?" he'd also ask for vocal tips and such from yejun, running some things by his 'expert opinion' first as shaiming would put it.

minjae. nothing much to say between these two, but how goofy and upbeat minjae is would basically make shaiming fawn all over him. he'd probably spend time asking him a bunch of pointless questions to try and get some creative answers and come to minjae if he was in need of affection and none of his other friends were free or willing to give him any love.

kitae. like he would be to the rest of their group, onstage shaiming would be all over the maknae, cooing over how adorable he is and huggling the cute candyfloss boy, but when the cameras are off his behavior would likely change a lot. kitae is basically a kitten tbh, and in contrast energetic playful and cuddly shaiming is like a puppy. instead of dog chasing cat, i can see it being the other way around, with shaiming maybe even being scared of kitae because of how he'd treat him offstage. he'd try and avoid being left alone with kitae when in the dorms and stuff, afraid that he might be pranked or shouted at or something.

sooyoung. sooyoung is pretty much his sister from another mister like holy heck. they're both bundles of energy and optimism and affection and i can just see them getting along so damn well. especially with how they'd probably get to talk quite a bit being in the same company. plus, i'd like to think shaiming is that one member in every group that seems to know every girl-group dance, and he probably enjoys listening to komorebi's music, so the fact that he does and that she listens to melli5 could be a serious source of fangirling between the two of them, along with other groups the'd have in common. because they're both dancers i'd like to think that once they find this shared love of music in the industry they'd try to learn the choreo together and just mess around with it and be idiots.
