Why this place out of every godforsaken clan in the entire universe? The kitsune had been traveling for two days and nights without stopping for rest. He had eaten some traveling herbs before his departure from SunClan, and had run out of them the night before to keep fatigue and hunger at bay. He had stopped far away from the border, his nose scrunching as the sour stench of blood wafted up his nostrils and the hauntingly familiar clan smell that danced cruelly with it. BloodClan. He hadn't been here in forever, but he hadn't been here as a member of the clan. He was brought rather dramatically to the clan in chains and was then humiliated publicly but that was in another body, in another life. A forgotten life that, apparently, wasn't very forgotten after all. The memories from his "good times" here had resurfaced the moment he smelled the familiar clan scent and he stood there in a trance for a good while, swaying back and forth with his lips pressed into a tight, thin line and his expression seemingly lost.

Then reality slapped him across the face again. He had remembered he used to hate this clan with every fiber of his being, and not just because they had been an enemy of ThunderClan. Now, he should feel nothing. Aru blinked slowly as he refocused finally and stepped forward, forcing himself to relax as he lowered himself down just before the border, disregarding the decomposing flesh that dangled in front of his face completely and instead turned his gaze elsewhere.

'Hey, BloodClan. My name's Aru Akise, here to ... join.'

Tessa took notice of the kitsune lingering on the border while out on a not-very-successful hunting patrol. "Joining, huh? Well, welcome to Bloodclan, then." she seated herself neatly near the white-furred creature, making subtle eye contact with the interesting animal.

The female was close behind Tessa with the friendly, bubbly smile that she seemed so amazing at keeping on her face even when it completely contradicted her disinterest in anything that didn't involve bloodshed. She was probably the most childish-seeming 'adult' in the entire clan, but she wasn't very tall either, so her size fitted her visible personality perfectly. "Oh, heya! Welcome to Bloodclan! I'm Lunae! Lunae Radium-Midoriko-Xerses! Nice to meet ya, Aru! I can call you Aru, right? Is that Japanese? it sounds Japanese!" she began her normal onslaught of sentences with childish enthusiasm that she was able to summon up by thinking back to Zjarr, and how easy he was to manipulate.

That ... had been relatively quick though he expected nothing less. At least he wasn't being overwhelmed by a bunch of unfamiliar faces all at once. That really got on his nerves the first time it happened though, back then, he had been absolutely elated that he could collect so much information. Back then, he was such a child. The detective fluttered his elongated ear, shifting his rosy red gaze towards the first person who arrived. 'Thank you.' Aru murmured towards the female in an calm voice though dipped his head towards her out of habit and because it was very common from where he originated from.

Then, he turned towards the next female that had arrived, a seemingly bouncy and energetic kitsune. This girl was the exact opposite of him. She practically drowned him in her sentences. Gee. Aru inclined his head just slightly to the side, the three white feathers that had been braided behind his ear shifting slightly with the movement of his head. 'Lunae? I'll keep your name in mind. Yes, my name is Japanese and yes ... you can call me Aru or Akise. Just those two names, alright? Nothing ... Nothing else.' He didn't want any nicknames. The only nicknames one could get out of his simple three letter name was Ru-ru and he didn't want some random stranger calling him that. Or Akki. God forbid someone called him that. 'It's nice to meet you as well and thank you for the warm welcome.'

"Oh, I apologize. Name's Tessa," she added, quickly addressing her mistake. "And Aru. It's no problem. You have a wonderful name!" she would compliment happily, a light glimmer in her eye.

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 400px; line-height: 12px; text-align: justify; font-size: 10.5px;]Aru shifted his gaze to the BloodClanner who had been the first to welcome him to BloodClan and his ears swiveled forward when he heard her name. 'Don't worry about it. It's a pleasure to meet you Tessa.' The boy would speak. He wasn't exactly sure if he was speaking truthfully here or not. Maybe he just wanted to get the introductions over with so that he could get some much needed rest. He was the slightest bit irritable but he couldn't find it within himself to shove his annoyance onto these people, not until they deserved it. He flashed a brief smile that disappeared in the next second the moment it surfaced. 'And--' She said his name was ... wonderful? What was wonderful about his name? Sure, it was foreign but it was rather ... plain in his opinion. It meant absolutely nothing. It was just a tag pinned onto him because the thing that made him couldn't come up with a better, more meaningful name.

'Thank you, I quite like my name.'

Padding over with a light smile, the athletically framed wolf took a seat among the others, visually analysing the femme with pale blue visionaries. "Welcome" Russiansiege finally spoke, nicked auricles leaning forwards. "My name is Russiansiege, but you can call me Russian for short"
