• IC: Shadow cursed under his breath as he lost his balance and went tumbling down against the rubble as well as loosing his grip on Rouge, "Nngh-!" He grunted loudly as he rolled down but managed to find his footing and jump back to land on his feet, but as he looked up to see a large piece of concrete came crashing down on him suddenly. Quickly trying to dodge the boulder he skated to the side but, the boulder caught his leg to which forced him to the ground, "Ack-!" He growled at the pain of his leg getting crushed and looked down to see that it was completely buried by the ruble. Baring his teeth he began summoning a chaos spear to blast the ruble away until something slammed onto his head that made his face be pushed into the ground, growling he began to charge his chaos spear and knock off whatever was on him.

Eclipse grinned as he stomped his foot onto Shadow's face and kept it there as he leaned down half way to get a good look at the immobilized hedgehog. "How unfortunate Shadow," he hummed and knelt down more while keeping his foot comfortably nestled against the dark hedgehog's head "let's not forget we have some unfinished business between you and I.." His voice dripped with venom as he spoke. "These humans were kind enough to alternate with my powers and..seemed to give me sort of an upgrade..." He chuckled then snapped his finger, causing Shadow's chaos spear to completely disperse into thin air. "Let me remind you that against me, your as helpless as a newborn runt dear brother-" he suddenly blinked as he heard Rouge up ahead of him as she had slammed into a wall, quickly hitting the bomb aside as it was thrown at him. "You dare?!" He snarled, ignoring the explosion of the bomb as it went off beside him and lashing his tail. Then he slowly began to smile and stood straight while keeping his intimating gaze on the bat, "Shadow..let me demonstrate what the consequences of not joining with your brethren when you had the chance are..." He stepped off the hedgehog as if he was a rug and began to approach Rouge.

• IC: Eclipse knocked one bomb aside with the back of his hand then jumped and kicked the other to the ground but blinked as there was another that was hurled towards him. Using his arms to block, the bomb exploded on contact that forced him to skid back. The alien winced slightly then growled as he lowered his arms, running foreword he used his unusual powerful strength to knock Rouge through the wall she was leaning against.

• IC: Shadow doubled his efforts into getting himself out as he heard Rouge's plee, "Leave her alone! She has nothing to do with this!" he yelled, almost desperately in attempt to stop Eclipse.

"This is what happens when you have more than just acquaintances Shadow..she is just one of the many," Eclipse showed no mercy to the bat as he grabbed her by the neck and lifted her off the ground. Grinning he pulled Rouge closer, "how does this feel? The indomitable await of death..?" He spoke as he began summoning enough power in his free hand and reel back to then send his fist flying towards her.

Without even a second thought Shadow ripped off his inhibitor rings and blasted the boulder off his leg, completely ignoring the pain and everything else around him the hedgehog flared red. Sprinting towards the too in light speed, he managed to grab Rouge out of Eclipse's grip by wrapping his arms around her, but then he took the blow, that Eclipse was meaning for Rouge, and felt the powerful strike land dead enter in his back "NNGH-!" He grunted in pain and was sent flying foreword from the power behind the punch. The two were sent towards another wall but Shadow quickly turned to the side to block the impact from hitting Rouge and they crashed through the concrete wall. The hedgehog stumbled to his knees, still holding the bat very close, and panted shakily while he could feel the taste of blood in his mouth while his red illumination started dimming away.

• IC: "Rouge..." Shadow muttered quietly as he held Rouge close and nodded to her, keeping his grip on her he kicked on his rocket shoes and skated off in the cover of smoke while ignoring the pain he felt in his leg and aching back. Bursting out of the doors of the lab building he ran faster before swerving to a stop to look back, seeing that Eclipse wasn't following he pulled out a switch and gazed at the building with narrowed eyes before he pressed the button, one by one explosions erupted from inside the building and the dark hedgehog turned then headed off where he left his bike "hang in there Rouge..just listen to my voice, I'll get you to safety." He told her while glancing down at her in concern.

Eclipse snarled and jumped into the smoke, whipping around to look for Shadow and Rouge while thrashing at the smoke to wave it away but he froze and stopped as he heard the loud explosions coming from behind him. Slowly turning his head to look over his shoulder he could see the blasts coming his way and he turned to face them, a frown on his face as the thundering fire came ever closer and soon engulfed him as the whole building flared in black smoke and exploded into pieces.

• IC: "Shadow to G.U.N., we completed the mission but we're severely wounded. We need transportation asap.." Shadow contacted the G.U.N. through his comm link while he began to slow his pace and turned off his rocket shoes. Limping as he walked to his bike and breathing slightly heavier the hedgehog set Rouge on the bike as gently as possible before sitting behind her and softly pulling the bat back to lean against his chest while he reached for the handles and started the engine. Pressing onto the gas the motorcycle took off and Shadow kept his eyes ahead as he focused on getting as far away from the burning lab as possible while lowering a hand to place over Rouge's to keep her steady, but to also let her know he was here "we'll be heading home soon.." He muttered to her as the wind rushed past them.

• IC: Shadow grew more concerned for Rouge as he noticed she finally lost consciousness but his ears perked as he heard the engines of a plane pass over them and he looked up to spot the G.U.N. air craft. The plane began to slowly lower down towards the ground just enough for Shadow to use his chaos power to warp on, but with his inhibitor rings gone he could feel his chaos energy slowly drain away. Getting ready to summon enough power to warp them onto the plane he paused for a second, suddenly swerving to the side as a boulder nearly crushed him from above, forcing the plane to fly back up, and the dark hedgehog whipped his head around to see Eclipse flying after them.

One of the many things to fear the Black Arms' general, Eclipse, was that he could shape shift as well. He had just barely survived the explosion back at the lab that left half of his body charred with smoke and scorched wounds. His arms had shifted into wings and he was flapping in the sky while diving down to hoist huge boulders and toss them towards Shadow's motorcycle, "You think I would give up so easily!" He called towards them while snatching another boulder from the ground. Using his powerful strength to throw the boulders at them, as if they were pebbles, he continued his assault and flew faster "This will not end up like last time dear Shadow!" he snarled. Gaining up on them he eventually moved fast enough to be directly above the two and swoop down on them in attempt to cause them to crash.

Shadow growled in annoyance to see that Eclipse survived the explosion and was continuing his attack against them. Moving at great speed the wind flew past them, causing his quills to flutter faintly against it but he once again swerved to the side to avoid Eclipse's attacks. As he did though, he nearly dropped Rouge in the process "Sh*t-!" He quickly caught her and held her even more close. This is to dangerous for her.. he thought as he drove with one hand, glancing up to pay attention to Eclipse while holding his grip on Rouge and trying to stay in reach with the plane. Narrowing his eyes, he forced his motorcycle to speed up more to catch up with the plane and stopped trying to avoid the flying alien's attacks, turning his head slowly he watched and waited for Eclipse to attack once more while he secretly began summoning a chaos spear. As Eclipse dove down again to continue his relentless assaults, Shadow used his remaining chaos energy to form a chaos spear then jumped into the air and threw his spear towards his motorcycle's gas tank which caused it to explode and cause the alien to be caught off guard. Using the explosion as momentum to send him the rest of the way towards the plane which had lowered it's back door for them to enter and had humans standing at the ready to catch them. The hedgehog then use the rest of his strength to throw Rouge towards the opening of the plane, but doing so caused him to not make it.

The humans standing by ran foreword and caught the bat, pulling her safely inside. Once Shadow made sure to watch as the humans caught her, he fell through the air and landed on the ground roughly. Coughing heavily he rolled to his feet and panted roughly, raising his head to watch as the G.U.N. plane flew away with Rouge in it's safety. Mouth agape as he tried to catch his breath while blood tricked down the side, his ear flickered behind him to hear the faint sound of someone landing behind him and he closed his eyes softly while clenching his fists.

• IC: Shadow turned to face Eclipse with narrowed eyes, he didn't know how much he could last against him especially without his inhibitor rings. "It's just you and me now Eclipse..there's no reason for you to go after anyone else.." He muttered as he glared at the alien.

Eclipse landed on the ground with his furry filled eyes as he stared down the hedgehog, "this is only the beginning brother..you will pay for what you have done to me in the past..and the Black Arms.." He hissed as he approached Shadow. Suddenly whirling around and using his tail to smash the dark hedgehog into the ground and stomp his foot on his chest, then he gave a smile "I won't make the same mistakes twice.." As he said those words, above them a giant alien spaceship emerged from the clouds above.

Shadow's grunted as he was forced into the ground and tried pushing Eclipse off of him until he saw the alien space ship. His eyes widened to see the spaceship and wondered how the hell a giant alien vehicle could sneak into their planet, and his mind went straight to the storm they had a few days ago. "You planned this.." He muttered under his breath, growling as he winced when Eclipse lifted him up into the air by his neck.

"Ever since our last encounter I had to set up precautions..this is just one of the many," Eclipse hummed as alien soldiers appeared behind him and he grinned, "family reunions aren't so bad are they?" He questioned as he threw Shadow towards the soldiers who then grabbed him and held him down. With a snap of his fingers the group then teleported up into the spaceship "welcome home," he told the dark hedgehog.

"Rouge! What happened down there? We ordered for you and Shadow to be discrete as possible and what do you do? Blow up the whole d*mn building?!" An agent came stomping after Rouge as she was sent to the medical bay.

• IC: The agent clenched his fists but then loosenend them as he decided to give Rouge a break after all she's been through and sighed, "alright..we'll need to form a rescue team for Shadow unless he can handle it himself...he's always been capable before but, something seems off about this. Now that it involves aliens that are called 'Black Arms'..and that somehow one of our number one agents is related to them."

• IC: As the G.U.N. plane made its way back to base and landed in the airfield, the humans rolled Rouge out of the plane and instantly into the medical bay of the HQ. The agent followed her and watched as the doctors safely began wrapping bandages around her abdomen where her broken ribs were, along with any other wounds. "How long will she be in here?" The agent asked the doctor as he looked in their direction.

"Broken bones don't heal over night..it will take quite a bit of time to heal completely...which might result in her not being able to attend the rescue team if we want to retrieve Shadow as soon as possible." The doctor replied.
