    • IC: Skating through the forest Shadow moved quickly through the fields of grass and moving between trees and bushes, his red eyes stared straight ahead as he went through the woods. The sky was covered in black from the night with only the stars peeking through the darkness, the full moon shined down on the tree tops and the dark hedgehog was barely visible as he swiftly dashed from one place to another. Only having the moonlight flicker on his black and red striped fur to become visible to the naked eye.
    Then he skidded to a stop as he came to an opening, in front of him was a large field shifting slightly as a cold breeze swept past him, his gaze was narrowed and serious. Even though he had no mission or any responsibilities for the moment his expression was still grim and emotionless, but he blinked and stood there for a long while as he decided to enjoy the cool air and relax. "..." He stayed silent while his ear flickered against the gentle wind and lowered himself onto the ground as he kicked off the power on his rocket shoes, pulling in one leg and resting his arm on top of his knee.

    Silver is floating lazily through the air, enjoying the cool summer night air. He felt that the cooler nights in the past were the best, since he is more used to raging fires and intense heat. He is blatantly visible against the dark night due to the turquoise glow surrounding him as he flies.

    • IC: Shadow looked up at he noticed something was in the air and blinked slightly, he narrowed his eyes as he saw the floating figure and stood. From where he was at he couldn't tell what it was but it looked like something was flying in the sky and the hedgehog raised his brow in curiousity. Even though he could barely see what it could be to identify it, the figure seemed familiar to him and he took a step foreword from the tree he sat under to take a closer look It looks like..a hedgehog? Or is it just one of eggman's machines? Maybe..something else... he thought and was tempted to warp up next to it.

    Silver is humming softly when he spots a rather dark figure standing in the clearing below him. The figure is very shadow-y in contrast to the moonlit grass. Curious, Silver lowers himself down to the ground, landing soundlessly in the tall, soft grass. He is a little ways away from the figure and still can't see his face. Deciding not to approach yet, he cup his hands around his mouth and calls out to the mysterious figure.

    • IC: Shadow blinked slightly in surprise as the figure suddenly began descending onto the ground, not knowing what it was doing at first the hedgehog readied his hand to summon a chaos spear and lowered himself , narrowing his eyes as it faced towards him it must have detected me.. thinking it was one of eggman's robots he clenched his fist and began powering his attack but blinked and stopped as it called out to him and he slowly stood while keeping one of his hands behind him. Then as he looked closer he dismissed his attack with a shake of his hand and walked into the tall grass, "Silver?" He muttered as he approached the other hedgehog.

    Silver is startled at the sound of his name, blinking a few times in an attempt to see who is speaking to him. Finding that he still doesn't have night vision, he forms a glowing balls of psychokinesis in his hand, illuminating the figure approaching. Silver breaks into a grin as he recognizes the figure.
    "Shadow, hey!" he greets, waving at the black-furred hedgehog.

    Silver turns his gaze to the sky as well, his golden eyes glinting in the pale moonlight. The night sky has always been his favorite part of the past. He never saw it at all growing up, as the smoke from the fires always choked up the air, blotting out any beauty.

He glanced over Silver's way from the corner of his eyes, arms still folded. "...How often do you visit this timeline?" He suddenly asked out of curiosity, and something else.

    Silver listens intently to Shadow's explanation, becoming more and more suspicious the more he hears. He lets out a soft sigh before answering the question.
    "Not often at all," he replies. "Since the first time I cam here, the rift between the past and future has weakened. So, every few months or, if I'm lucky, a tear will appear somewhere, and I can visit the past for a few weeks. Then, the tear will take me back, no matter what. I think it has something to do wit continuity, the fact that I can't stay long..."
    He trails off, frowning thoughtfully.
