Let's just start with it being morning, okay?

Hazestar was resting in the warmth of her den. She flicked her ear, quietly stirring. Once the sun hit her eyes, she opened her eyes slightly and peered out of the den, to see Blackfoot's figure pad out of the warriors den. She flicked her ear again and stood up, stretching. She yawned, her haze fur bristling as she shook her fur.

Blackfoot was the first of his clan to wake up. It didn't take a lot to wake him up. It was a routine, his brain was adjusted to waking up early. As Blackfoot strode out, he yawned and stretched.

-- Stitch puts her paws over her muzzle with a groan. She stretches, her hind in the air before jumping out of the den. The female cat flicks her ears glancing at Blackfoot. She gives a warm smile and dips her head. "Hello Blackfoot." One glance at the leaders den, Stitch felt her ears go hot. She quickly turns away from it and pads to the prey pile. They were a bit short, so a hunting party would be nice. Stitch kept that in mind, she would organize a hunting arty once every cat was up. Stitch grabs a mouse and slowly pads to the leaders den.

Hazestar strode toward the entrance and yawned. Her eyes were still asleep, and she didn't notice Stitch. She went through the waterfall and bumped into her, gasping. She glanced down at Stitch, speaking. "Hello, Stitch. Sorry to bump into you." Hazestar told her, quietly padding out of her way and heading toward the fresh kill. She exaimed it before seeing a small mouse, and grabbing for it.

Stitch drops the mouse with a small gasp as she knocked into Hazestar. She blinks, collecting herself before kicking her chest. "Hello Hazestar!" The she cat grabs her mouse again and follows behind the leader. Dropping the mouse, she says "We are running low on prey, so I'm going to organize a hunting patrol once every cat is up." The female smiles and begins to eat her mouse.

  • RavenFeather:
The large black tom was never a morning bird. He despised mornings to his very core. Yet, he had a duty to his clan. Blue orbs flicked open with a low groan, ears flat against his head. Every morning went like this. Slowly, RavenFeather pulled himself to his feet and yawned, stretching his hind legs. He padded from the warrior's den, seeing a few cats had beaten him up. He said nothing as he padded to the kill pile, grabbing himself a mouse before settling down in the shade. He was always grumpy, but even more so in the mornings.

    RobinWing:
Unlike his grumpy brother, RobinWing loved mornings. He loved the sounds of birds chirping and watching the sun rise. He was always quick to wake, and today was no different. Green hues opened after a moment, shuffling to his paws. The large calico padded from the Warrior's den happily, tail swishing behind him. He dipped his head to HazeStar and Stitch, as well as BlackFoot. The cheerful tom spotted his brother in the shade. He always sat with his brother in the mornings. So, he padded over and settled down beside RavenFeather to chat as normal.

Stitch nods tightly, then lets a small grin through as she finishes the mouse. "Yeah, no kidding. But it's all for the good of the clan." Stitch stands dipping her head towards Hazestar and trotting to Blackfoot. "When you're finished eating, meet me towards to entrance of camp. We're going hunting." Stitch nods and turns towards the two cats sitting in the shade. She pads to them, giving them both a warm smile despite RavenFeather and his grumpy attitude. She meows the same to them before flicking her fluffy tail and trotting towards the entrance.

Aspenwing red fur resembled a ball of fire, as she curled herself tighter into a ball. She slept soundlessly which was surprising. She hadn't been getting much sleep lately but it seemed somewhat different today. Her eyes lazily opened revealing a perplexing pair of golden orbs. Sighing softly, the warrior felt her muscles ache from lack of movement and simply groaned in response. She rose from her comfortable position, hearing a few cracks as her legs stood. Aspenwing, apologizing to those who remained in the den, padded out of the homey den to only be blinded by the blazing sun. It stung, of course, but her amber gaze eventually adjusted to the lighting. She noticed Stitch, and a few others, prepare for a hunting patrol. She would have been eager to join, if she hadn't just woken up. She noted Ravenfeather and Robinwing sitting besides each other once again this morning, but made no comment. She understood their irritation in the morning, despising it herself. Aspenwing's eyes flickered through the pile of kill, although it was low, she managed to scrap a small vole for herself. She sat in silence, as well as alone

  • Silvercrow had always been an early riser and so when the sun came up his internal clock went off and slowly his eyes opened, consistent as always. The thickly furred tom stretched leisurely for a moment in his nest before he rolled onto his stomach and pushed himself up so that he was sitting. Following his usual morning routine, he took time to groom his sleep mussed fur and make sure there was nothing stuck to his coat. When he was sure he was clean and looked presentable, the husky tom stood and made his way from the warrior's den and to the fresh kill pile, noting how low it seemed as he bent to pick up a rabbit. Whatever he didn't eat off of it his sister would take when she was awake.
    --
Dawnmeadow was slower to rise in the morning than most. She enjoyed and valued the time she was able to sleep, always making sure she was well rested for the day ahead. As the sun was rising she opened her eyes, jaws gaping wide in a yawn as she lazily pushed herself to her paws. The calico femme shook out her fur, grooming it for a few moments so that she looked clean and presentable before taking a second to look around the den. It seemed quite a few cats, including her brother, were already up and so she padded from the den to find where he sibling had gone.

  • Tigerpaw's eyes blinked open to light coming in through the den. The spotted tom glanced around looking for his mentor but didn't see her. She left the den and didn't wake him up? The medicine cat apprentice struggled to his paws with effort and sighed as he padded over to the entrance of the den clumsily. He was always aware of his disorder but tried not to let it run his life though it was hard. He was only a medicine cat apprentice because of it and had been one for a few sunrises now. He emerged from the den and waved his tail in greeting to the another cats before heading to the fresh kill pile. There was only a few pieces left so he hesitated. After a moment, he decided he would eat later despite the growling in his stomach. The other cats needed it more than him.

Silversky awoke almost immediately after Aspenwing though she wasn't sure if she had been the one to wake her. She saw the tail of the cat disappearing out of the den as she looked towards the entrance. The silver she-cat then rose to her paws and stretched. After giving a big yawn, she headed out of the den.

Bearpaw seemed to be one of the last to awake. He usually slept in well past dawn, closer to sun high, and he loved it. He didn't mind being one of the last ones to awake. Honestly, he liked having the den to himself for a while. When he awoke, he got into a sitting position and started to groom himself, in no hurry. He licked a paw and ran it over an ear. After a few more moments of this, he stretched and headed out of the den.

Her fluffy white stomach was showing, something she didn't particularly like about herself, and her front paws were waving in the air as if she were running. With a sudden squeak, she leapt to her paws and her green eyes darted around the apprentice den. Sandpaw cursed, feeling her cheeks grow hot with embarrassment. She often had nightmares which always brought her to an abrupt awakening. Shaking it off, the she-cat arched her back into a long stretch, yawned and left the den. The warm sun felt good as it soaked into her fur while she happily trotted to the food pile, quickly forgetting her nightmare. She then spotted Tigerpaw. "Hey! Wanna share?" She asked, noticing him walk away from the food. She knew he was hungry.

getting little to no sleep was just as repugnant as one would think it is. the act of falling asleep came rather quickly to others, or so birdie heard, but, the male did not understand how their mind could be so smooth as to let them get a fruitful nights sleep. for, as birdie had not been so lucky to have fate go with him in this way, as his insomnia often curled it's own sharp claws around his soft pelage, intertwined in his mind as if pricking at him to keep him awake. it worked fairly easily, birdie could not remember this past moon when he had gotten a night full of sleep rather then his usual pondering that commonly occurred.
luckily, the past two nights where riddled with some hours of recharging, but at times it would go on for days of little to nothing of this, and he was rendered nearly useless as his tire commonly halted any activities. though this happened rarely. but also gave his example of why he often stayed with the medicine cat to help if she desired, even though he remained a fully grown warrior.
feeling his muscles stiffing, the male allowed them roll gently under his brown and white pelt, the small tabby's stretching forward and back, feeling pops and aches roll up his spine and limbs before he let out a yawn, blinking his green colored optics a few times to remove them of sleep. and despite the large, heavy bags that clung to his lower eyelid, he moved rather smoothly, or as much as one could with the little amount of rest that he had received. but, besides this fact birdie gave one more small yawn, observing the moving cats around the camp before his eyes gently caught onto a darker, silver and black adorned pelt. the male entitled of silvercrow never failed to amaze birdie, and reluctantly, birdie seemed to have caught a love sickness because of this towards the other tom.
but, he daren't approached, instead stared for a few moments and then seeing dawnmedow. seeing a chance to avoid embarrassment, he carefully walked up to the female, giving a kinder smile, only talking despite not being addressed first purely because he needed to stay away from talking to silvercrow as much as possible.
"good morning dawnmedow." his voice was quite and smooth, a gentle smile to match as his tail gently flicked back and forth.

The search for her brother was interrupted as Dawnmeadow was approached and spoken to, the tom before her familiar to her eyes. A smile that could rival the rising sun in it's brightness made it's way onto the femme's face as she prepared a reply, "Good morning, Birdie!" She replied in kind to the feline who had stopped her, and having spotted her sibling over the other tom's shoulder she continued, "Would you like to join me and Silvercrow for breakfast?" It was worth a shot, the she-cat thought as she invited Birdie to eat. She often enjoyed his company and knew Silvercrow did when he could.
