[b]"w-what if it's bad?" he managed to stutter out, his eyes not being able to leave the lips of the girl across from him. "i've heard about people being bad kissers, what if i'm one of them? she wouldn't want to be with a bad kisser, i've heard that story about how she broke up with that one guy because of one bad kiss." he nervously played with his fingers, feeling how sweaty they were and only imagining how red he was. he was going to have his first kiss and oh boy was he nervous, but even more so he was excited. he manged to tear his eyes off her lips and look at the list of things they made to complete, the first thing being kissing and the last, well that made his heart flutter and his head spin just thinking about that one. and there wasn't even that many steps between kissing and that, so he knew it was going to happen soon. he glanced back up at her, managing to stop cracking his knuckles. "you promise she won't get mad if she finds out i did all this stuff with you before asking her out? i mean especially..." he stared at the list for a moment, his eyes burning into the last goal. "especially that last one." |

[b]"hello." she bowed her head slightly, offering a smile to the male. she had wanted to turn right back to the painting to continue admiring the little details of it, but instead her eyes found the male more pleasing. his eyes were dark but somehow she could still see light in them, a youthfulness that she quickly found herself admiring. his skin was smooth and untouched by the harsh years that her fiance had been through, it seemed as if this younger man knew nothing of stress. his lips were a pink that no artist could try and copy, his jaw seeming to be chiseled by the greek artists of long ago. he was art, and she found herself nearly blushing with every second she spent letting her eyes dance across him. "i'm iseul, it's nice to meet you." she knew deep down she shouldn't stay and speak with him for too long, before the older man really did send someone to fetch her, before she found herself falling in love with this stranger, before her fiances son came. she just remembered how he mentioned earlier that morning at breakfast how his son may come, nearly making her choke on her tea. she knew of his past wife and how he didn't speak of her often, but never did she believe he would leave out the whole tale on having a son. but either way she was a little excited to meet him, she was told he was young, and as someone who loved children, she had made sure their room was clean so if given the chance she could lead the boy to the room, hoping that his mother who sent him would also send toys for entertainment. but if not, she had plenty of stories made up in her mind that she could use to entertain the child, and perhaps this mystery child was another good thing that came with the grumpy old man she would be spending her future with. she didn't let herself get too lost in her thoughts though, not wanting to scare the male away with her staring, quickly turning back to the painting. "it's beautiful, don't you agree?" |
