Drowning wasn't a fun way to go, and he almost had. Water itself was terrifying to the canine, and even more so now. But he knew that he couldn't be in a perpetual state of fear over something so... harmless. What if the need to swim came up again and he couldn't do it? What if he needed to save someone but was rendered useless because he was too afraid to even touch the wet surface of a calm lake?

A shudder ran up Ronan's spine, and he poked hesitantly at the crystalline water infront of him. His four eyes gazed upon the surface uncertainly, and he quickly pulled back with a sharp breath. Fuck. "Fuck this shit. I can't do it. Fuck it. I'm out," he finally angrily muttered, before turning around with a grunt. He didn't walk away, however, instead sitting at the edge with his back to the water, a scowl on his beak and maw.

He supposed it wasn't a choice hobby of his - he didn't really have any hobbies, now that he thought about it - but he could still do it with ease. Then again, the need to do so never really arose, because he could just teleport everywhere. He had been sitting on the bank, silently watching the silver flashes of little fish as they swam by, when Ronan had appeared nearby. The scrawny young tom had observed, curious. He was perplexed by the other's fear.

"What's wrong?" He questioned suddenly, "Is there... something in the water?"
