Poppy looked up from behind the bars of her cage. She wanted to get out of this terrible place everyone called the school. Poppy noticed that whitecoats were entering the dark room where her and millons others were at in cages. They were taking out a certain bunch of experiments. When they came over to her, a large eraser was picking her cage up. She was scared but would not show it to anyone.
Selena was tired. The whitecoats had just made her the run the equivalent to running across the United States. She collapsed in the rest room. They had said they were finished but the said that 500 miles ago too......and 500 miles before that. so who knew if she was really done or not. her muscles ached.
Poppy and everyone else the erasers had taken, were being taken to a room. When Poppy looked through the bars she saw a girl on the floor, she was breathing.
"Selena get up!" one of the white coats said. Selena started to stand up again, she sched everywhere. She glanced up fleetingly and saw some experiments being taken into the room where she had to run. "Go!" the white coat screamed to her and prodded her into the room behind the other experiments. Selena did so afraid of what would happen if she didn't listen. The whitecoats who had brought the new experiments in said" Show them what they will have to do." and left. Selena glanced over at the other experiments and started to run on a tredmill like belt. She got shocked by one of the white coats and started to run faster. They kept doing this until she was running faster than 100 m.p.h. When the tredmill stopped Selena collapsedon the floor and the white coats left muttering about how she was extraordinary and one of the fastest.
After the last white coat had left and the last eraser was gone Poppy whispered "Psst...are you okay? Can you get up and release us, I will help you when you get the door open." Poppy was looking at the girl on the floor wondering is the girl could even hear her.
Selena looked over at the girl in the cage who was talking to her. She knew the white coats were watching but she knew they couldn't hear. This room was sound proof. She whispered back "When I release you, the white coats will be all over us. When I let you go, help the others and then run. Don't stop until you're far away from here. Understood?"
Poppy shook her head thinking, not without you!!!!!
"Yes," Selena said firmly. "On the count of three. one...two...
Poppy got ready to get out.
"three!" Selens launched off the ground and straigh towards the cage. She quickly opened it and the cage next to it. Like she expected the white coats realized what she was doing and started to come into the room with tazers and guns. She directed her attention to them and started to fight. She may not be leaving but they other ones would be and she'd make sure of it.
Poppy opened a couple more cages and screamed "Open the rest please?" to the avians she just released. She went to the whitecoats and began to fight with Selena.
Selena punched one of the white coats so hard that he hit the wall behind him and cracked the glass to the obsercation room. Selena noticed that the girl was fighting too. "What are you doing?! GO!" she screamed.
"Not without you! You need to get out of here too!"Poppy was screaming back at her trying to stay focus on fighting the whitecoats.
Selena needed to get this girl out of here. She quickly threw the white coat she was fighting backwards and started towards the girl. She didn't see the whitecoat behind her and he shocked her with a tazer. She screamed and turned around. Now she was mad. all of a sudden all of the white coats flew back and hit the wall. A wind conjured from nowhere had knocked them off their feet. Selena took advantage of this and grabbed the girl and started to run.
Mimi watched the other girls leave. She continued to work on the cages. She had to set as many avians free as she possibly could! Quickly, another one opened. The avian in there gave her a grateful glance and ran off. Her bown/gold wings were folded up while she worked furiosly.
Selena ran with the one girl to the door. She left her there and said "Help everyone else out." Then she ran back to the test room.
Poppy wathced the girl fly back down and began thinking then saw that the some of the avians were going in every direction. As long as they are free, I don't care where they go! Poppy darted back down and began to help Mimi unlock the rest of the cages.
Many of the white coats were beginning to get up. Selena started to throw them back again. Then all at once they started to leave. Why are they leaving? Selena was tempted to follow them but she didn't, instead she turned around and started to unlatch the cages nearest to her letting lose all the experiments
After the whitecoats were all gone, many erasers came in. Before anyone could notice them one grabbed Poppy and was trying to choke her.
mimi turned quickly when she saw erasers. she saw an avian choking in one's grasp. with her red hair flailing she ran over and started to kick the eraser ith fury and screeched, "let go of her!"
