    [fancypost bgcolor=#0f0f0f; borderwidth=0px; width: 470px; max-height:; text-align: justify][size=11pt]Aru had spied Novem (as the creature wasn't hard to miss) during the raid and so, weaving around those already locked together in a bloody battle, the kitsune, who was just about the size of an adolescent feline, made his way to his new target and to-be opponent. He held the hilt to his katana firmly, bringing it up as he activated his powers, taking longer and faster strides towards Novem. His legs propelled him forward at break-neck speeds and pretty soon, he reached the nine-headed creature's location and leaped into the air, twisting as he attempted to bury the cold metal blade of his weapon into the hydra's side. Using his weight to his advantage (although it admittedly wasn't much), he would twist the blade in the flesh of Novem if the first initial attack hit before deciding to rip the blade of the katana out. He would then land on the other side of the Exiler, using molecule manipulation to soften his fall.

    [align=center][fancypost borderwidth=0; width: 380px; text-align: justify; line-height: 11px; font-size: 11px; letter-spacing: -.2px]one of the hydra's heads had already seen the male head towards them, smiling almost invitingly towards the kitsune in a taunt. oh, they certainly were fast. novem directed a few more heads towards the enemy, spotting the flash of metal as the blade was extracted. hmm. seemed that they'd have to make a sacrifice. their main, serpentine body wasn't nearly as agile as the heads, and it seemed that the kitsune had detected that. ignoring the pain coursing through their body, novem's head spun around lightning fast, blocking off the creature's escape route and forcing him to stay with his katana buried into their body or find an alternative way out.


    of course, novem found no need to give them that alternative way out. fast as a snake, their jaw opened, exposing fangs dripping with venom, and then sprang forward. quick as a cobra, the hydra's head attempted to bury its poisonous fangs into the kitsune's body, hopefully while the other was occupied with his successful attack or trying to find an alternative way out of novem's trap.

Suddenly, there was a large head in the way and his desired path of escape was cut off. The kitsune let loose a light snarl, his thin black lips pulling back. Unable to maneuver out of the way, his katana remained stuck in the body of his opponent. He felt his fur bristling with vexation. Aru leaned back, his twin tails lashing behind him as he was practically forced to stay on the huge serpent's body.


    He could get out of this, he had to. Shifting, he turned but only when he felt something close in behind him. A large head was lunging towards him with the speed and potency of a cobra snake. The boy would try to move out of the way despite there being not much room to move about, though he somehow managed. However, Novem's fangs brushed his side. He wasn't sure what sort of liquid dripped from them, but Aru was sure as hell he wasn't going to stand around to see what it felt like to have those fangs embedded deep within him.


    Deciding this would be his chance, he leaped into the air, using molecular manipulation as a small boost, with the intentions of jumping over Novem's head. Attacking wasn't his utmost priority at the moment. Aru did not like the feeling of being trapped.

    [align=center][fancypost borderwidth=0; width: 380px; text-align: justify; line-height: 11px; font-size: 11px; letter-spacing: -.2px]score, novem thought gleefully as their fangs met soft flesh. not for long, however. wallowing in his satisfaction, the hydra failed to get a firm grip on their prey, and not a second later the alabaster-pelted kitsune was soaring over their head and towards freedom. novem wasn't about ready to let him go, though. it had been a long time since they had been injured -- their own mistake in this case, but still, it spoke of battle skills that weren't bad. looking mildly impressed, the exiler started plotting out their next attack.


    the second aru hit the ground, novem sprang forward again, two heads snaking forward in an attempt to trap the kitsune again. a third pounced from above, AIMING TO BITE ARU ONCE AGAIN.

    Once again, using molecule manipulation to soften his descent, the kitsune whirled around spying the two heads snaking forward. He now had a better sense of what this creature's attack was and Aru was not going to fall for it again. It seemed like Novem favored trapping their opponents before striking. It would seem he would have to foil the first part of their plan. Firstly, Aru would use his telepathy to create the image in Novem's mind that there were suddenly two more of him. It'd be hard to control his telepathy while simultaneously trying to attack, but somehow he'll find a way to manage even when his head began to hurt.


    Aru would then continue projecting the image if the previous worked as he crouched and shot off to the side, super speed giving him that much needed boost in order to dodge the third head's attack. Jumping to his paws, the two fake Aru's would start charging at Novem, brandishing their own separate katanas as they leaped at them.

    satisfaction and excitement coursing through the hydra at the prospect of once again sinking their fangs in, the rest of novem's heads recoiled when they saw the two copies appear. the attacking head went through with the attack, but faster than the hydra could track, the kitsune was gone. hissing in displeasure, the hydra recoiled upon itself, warily watching the two images. well, this had certainly gotten a lot more interesting. well, novem could play that game too. he normally used his telepathy only to communicate, but this kitsune was giving him more trouble than expected.


    honing in on the two, they would attempt to break into the mind of both images. one of them they went straight through, while the other...the other, they were met with a strong wall, sending out a projection. ah, yes. novem turned completely towards the fake image, attempting to lure aru in and get him to lower his guard. meanwhile, a smaller head would AIM TO STRIKE THE REAL ARU THE SECOND HE ATTEMPTED TO ATTACK, while the other eight seemed to be preoccupied with the image.

    Aru seemed to have let a small smirk of satisfaction cross his slim muzzle as he watched Novem recoil, watching the projected images with caution. The images he projected, of course, would not be able to do any damage to Novem, and so the only good thing they were for was to distract while he tried to come up with a formidable plan of action. His eyes would follow the smaller head as they fixated their gaze onto him, tracking his movements. He wouldn't be able to do much here, though he risked being bitten if he made a single offensive move.


    Well, it was a risk worth taking.


    Aru eyed the katana that was still stuck within his opponent's body and made it his objective to go retrieve it before doing anything else. Without it, he wouldn't be able to do much damage to the hydra. The moment he lurched forward with movement, the smaller head lunged to dig their fangs into his flesh. The tri-clanner would be rushing forward, seemingly heading straight into danger when he dug his heel into the ground, halting his movement where he'd twist his slim body out of the way. Ah, he was starting to get a little dizzy. Aru stumbled a bit though he did not fall or trip, swiftly catching himself whilst nearly being bitten by Novem once more. With a sharp turn, he'd leap into the air once more and attempt to land upon the smaller head that had nearly struck him and would then try to run down the neck of the creature, making a beeline to retrieve his katana.


    Meanwhile, he would manipulate the images of himself to make them seem they could teleport. As soon as he reached his destination, he would rip away the katana embedded in his opponent and swiftly leap off of the back.
