    It's the year 2022 and the United States of America has undergone a radical change with unemployment and crime rates at all-time lows. To preserve this sense of prosperity, the governmental body, the New Founding Fathers of America organizes a yearly event called "The Purge" wherein all American citizens are encouraged to vent their negative feelings and urges within a twelve-hour time period between the evening of a selected date and the following morning. Adding to the disturbance is that, as seen in the reminder poster, all hospital, and police services are suspended in order to ensure The Purge is followed through. However, more extreme methods of destruction, such as obtaining WMDs or raiding the military, are still prohibited despite the Purge's otherwise lax setup.


    Unfortunately for a group of high school students, they get pinned outside on this ruthless event. With nothing but a car to take shelter in and the simple clothes on their backs, nothing will prepare them for the horrors they have yet to witness. With the world around them as their enemies, it seems like there is little to no chance of the group surviving this night... Unless they choose to fight back. Engaging in a battle they solemnly swore to never take part in, these teens will learn what it really means to be alive.

    I cannot stress this enough, make your characters DIVERSE. Racially, in personality, anything, really. Spread your characters out. There's nothing I can't stand more than having plain and boring characters with cookie cutter personalities in my threads.

    Make the character genders even. I seriously don't want to see five girls and one boy, as sometimes this is the case. You don't even have to make a character of the two basic genders. Nonbinary, genderfluid, and trans, is perfectly fine by me.

    APPEARANCE - EYES: Parks' eyes are truly something mysterious. As a child, Parks eyes were a vibrant sea-green color, full of life and light. As time progressed and Parks grew, her orbs began to desaturate into a pale green color- possibly grey- and left seemingly empty and dull.




    - HAIR: Parks has long, chocolate brown hair that cascades down her shoulders and stops right at her stomach. Her hair is set in messy, yet soft and silky layers. Both sides of her head are neatly trimmed, the right originally shaved into a patch that contained two lines or more- unlike the left. Gradually, Parks let the patches grow out before shaving them again- this time, leaving the right side without the stripes.     Oliver is very conscientious, taking a steady approach and bending with the needs of the situation just enough to accomplish the group's end goals. And, not only does he ensure that things are done to the highest standard, but he will often go well beyond what is required simply to make his mark. In addition, he is very imaginative - whether this is a good thing or not, one wouldn't be able to tell - using this practical quality to observe and empathize with those around him and seeing things from their perspective. He actually feels like the weak link in the team, which really does not help with his poor self-esteem, even though he's a key role in the team.     Oliver takes things too personally quite often, having trouble with separating personal and impersonal situations between each other and so any negativity from conflict or criticism can cause him a lot of distress and resent towards the other person.
