[fancypost borderwidth=0;width: 485px;font-family: verdana; line-height:94%; font-size: 8.5pt;margin-top:10px;][justify]"Nee-sama," a petite mouse-gray feline would speak, her silvery voice containing equal parts respect and apprehension, as she attempted to catch her sister's attention for the umpteenth time that day. Suppressing a sigh, the girl would hesitate for a moment, narrowing her gaze ever so slightly as she considered attempting to address the other again while her lips were still partially parted—though, in the end, she opted to close her jaw, and swallow whatever thoughts she'd wanted to voice, as the chances of her hearing were quite slim, and she so despised wasting her breath. Goodness... as lovely as her twin was, she could be quite scatter-brained at times; often did she allow herself to become lost in her thoughts like this, inadvertently tuning out the rest of the world. It was a troublesome habit, to say the least. However, what she lacked in attention, she made up for in her self-confidence and determination—all traits to be admired, for sure; and Amaya would certainly not hesitate to correct anyone who suggested otherwise; she wouldn't have anyone undermining the talents of her beloved older sibling, or contradicting her views on her one and only role model—such was simply unacceptable; there was no rhyme or reason to it, but was there really any need for one at all? She didn't think so—and at the end of the day, as selfish as it sounded, her personal views were really all that mattered in her eyes.

As the two of them continued on in silence, rather than vainly calling out to her sister another fifty times, she settled for training her azure-kissed gaze hard on the other's lithe, cream-coloured figure, contenting herself with the simple action of observing the graceful lift in her step, the fluidity of her movements; just what the hell had the others been thinking, when they'd said they had wanted to cast her out? Had it been herself being considered for being driven into exile, that might have been understandable... but her sister? Her oh-so wonderful, flawless, and far-too-kind-for-her-own-good older sister? It was unthinkable, unfathomable... were they all blind to perfection when it was staring them right in the face? In that case, it was the loss of their com— no, former comrades, not hers, not her sister's. If their old place of residence had thought it right to drive them out, then clearly they weren't deserving of their presence at all. She and Asami would find a different home, one far nicer than their first one had ever been. Who cared that they were searching for one in the mortal world, who cared that they would both disappear if they didn't manage to convince someone to enter into contracts with them; those were all issues they could worry about later. For now, all they needed to do was put distance between themselves and their old establishment— enough so that she and her sister would never have to cross paths with those assholes ever again.

Now... she really only hoped that her twin knew where she was going. How pathetic would it be if they were to both suddenly walk over the edge of a cliff and plummet to what she would assume to be their deaths? (Given that they weren't mortal, she admittedly didn't quite understand the concept of 'death' or know whether or not such a concept applied to them for that matter, but someone had once said that it was better to be safe than sorry, right?)

"Asami nee-sama," she suddenly would intone, loudly, and in a far more insistent fashion than before; pausing in her tracks to regard her sibling with an intensely expectant stare, her normally-taciturn gaze appearing considerably more stormy and tumultuous than it ever had before. "...With all due respect, do you really know where we're headed?" Though clinical as ever in her manner of speech, Amaya's voice had acquired a subtle edge, which served to further communicate her sense of unrest and disquiet (though she did a fairly decent job of hiding it all beneath her cool exterior; her level of composure had always put her far above most of those her age in terms of maturity—not that it was necessarily anything to be proud of, but it was useful in of itself at times).

[fancypost borderwidth=0;width: 485px;font-family: verdana; line-height:94%; font-size: 8.5pt;margin-top:10px;][justify]Perhaps it was all just in accordance with her personality—the fact that she had always been slightly more outgoing than her younger twin, despite her appearance (like Amaya's) also being comparable to that of the untouched, glass-like surface of some lake located in the heart of some distant, secluded forest—but she had always been a dreamer. Oftentimes, she would slip into her daydreams and reveries to fantasize about better times and circumstances, when she and her sister had been a child and everything had been so pleasantly simple, to the degree that it had almost been disgusting. It really ought to come as no surprise to anyone if she were to say that she preferred her memories and delusions to reality; after all, couldn't everyone else say the same? For whatever reason, there wasn't a single creature in existence—neither mortal nor god—that could honestly say that they didn't wish for something more than the lot they'd been given. Asami didn't know if it was because they were all created to be ungrateful little whiners, or if it was because the universe was just that cruel, and life was just one big cosmic joke in which they all were the punchline... However, all that aside, she had quite enjoyed her life up until now, and she would very much continue to enjoy it for as long as she lived. Of course, there had been ups and downs, and she did harbor a few regrets—but that was the natural way of things. If the universe was cruel, if it expected her to break down and fall to her knees and rail at how everything was unfair, then that was too bad—for she intended making the most of her time in existence, and would fully aim to spite any entity that dared to tell her she was wrong in doing so.

Honestly, she couldn't really care less that she and her sister were no longer affiliated with their old establishment; the place and the creatures had been rather dull, and it didn't hurt to mention now that she'd always liked to entertain notions of leaving to explore other places when she'd been younger. Admittedly, she was a tad bit upset with how they had been forced to leave, but it was an insignificant detail in the grander scheme of things, wasn't it?

A dark, seemingly haunted forest had just come into view, when a sharp voice brought her to an abrupt halt—effectively capturing her attention, and holding it long enough for her to turn her head to regard the speaker. She was not dense; the disconcerted look in her sister's gaze was quite evident despite the low light, and in all honesty, she couldn't help but feel the slightest bit exasperated with the other's voiced inquiry (though thankfully, she was just stoic enough to keep any traces of annoyance from marring her youthful, unblemished countenance). "Amaya, there was never a set destination to begin with, and therefore, your question is not valid. But not to worry—I am adventurous, not reckless. I don't plan on leading us off a cliff at all." She didn't need her clairvoyance abilities to be able to tell what sort of thoughts were running through the other's head... such was simply the bond between siblings, she supposed.

Perhaps even cuter than her own sibling, commented the feline internally. Her maw was stitched into a placid smile. She might have even grinned a bit at the sight, if she could without any pain. Taking a pawstep towards the noise and ruffling a few bushes with her thick fur, the female would begin to ready her ability of telepathy. They were probably nearing the forest, perhaps - thought the doll with a cock of her cranium.

Greeting joiners weren't her thing at all. She preferred to leave it to her younger and more blessed sibling. While swaying her stitched tail above the brush and grass to make sure it wouldn't get messy, the feline would approach the two with hesitance. Her first thoughts were along with hope that they weren't bouncy trespassers or pranksters. The feline hated dealing with those type of beings. They were No.2 on her list of who she would hate to deal with. No.1 was reserved for liars and cheaters, of course. She disliked them even more than the outlandish bunch. Although, this was probably a contradiction since Higuchi could get a bit out of paws herself and it happened quite commonly due to her reckless and dedicated behavior.

Red stitches laced the feline's creamy coat upon certain areas. The stitches didn't cover most of her body though. Just the parts that Vol found that needed the support of them. On her maw, the red laced her lips as if it were human lipgloss. It wasn't messy though or stitched everywhere. Just like what was stated before. In the end, the feline never needed them there which left her questioning why. Under her eyes, the feline had two small 'x''s stitched near where one would find eye-bags. Cats were lucky creatures not to have them, you know? Higuchi would probably have a ton of them by now. Her eyes were a still color though. Copper, to be exact. Burning copper.

With a small amount of hope she didn't alarm the two, the feline would cock her cranium to acknowledge the fact that they were there and for a small light greeting before using her telepathy. It took precise aim to reach within one's mind without major disturbance. She hoped it worked. "Testing. . .testing. . .testing!" greeted Higuchi in a somewhat merry tone. Hidden within it would be worry for her senpai and the extra emotions that she locked away. "Name and business, misses!" continued the feline with a light bounce to her pawsteps and heightening of her tone. Some strictness was found upon her tone too.

Way more cute than her she'd have to agree. But as her sister would usually leave the name and business to her, it had seemed that she was a tad late. But her sister handled it instead, which was rather a good thing. Paris would strode over, placing herself besides her sister. She would offer the twins a mini joyful
smile, waiting for the others to respond to her sisters question. [/fancypost]

Huh, twins. Did she have any siblings who were twins...? Spectre wasn't too sure. These two kind of reminded her of one of her siblings, Mirnia — who was still in SkullClan, most likely. That one was pretty cute... she hadn't gotten to know her sister too well, though.
The kitsune stayed silent, waiting for an answer from the two.
