(P: Enjoy) Two Imperfections

    IC: Pyrite gave it a little while before she went to see how everyone was while Ammonite ate. She figured she'd gauge how everyone would take the news, or if they could be interrupted yet, before telling them. Ammonite had started to complain of apprehension and a headache too, so Pyrite was starting to suspect Steven had made more friends...

    OOC: But think of all the stuff in between now and the movie XP


    IC: (everyone is still going to be where I described them, so you can pick, but I'll put in the Lepidolites and White Quartz and Lepidolite herself)

    Lepidolite had taken most of the day to rest, but would have tentatively come inside to join Pyrite and Ammonite if they would allow her to join. She had just come from her sisters, who were currently at the edge of the farm with White Quartz getting ready to go continue their secret project.

    OOC: true, hype~~ we'll finally see this surprise project XPP

    IC: (okay ^^")

    Pyrite tentatively stepped outside to go see who all was where and how they were. She nearly didn't notice Leeona on her way out the door until she turned around and blinked. "Ooh, hey, Leeonaa! How's it goin'?"

    OOC: It's very slice-of-life, it's not that much ^^"

    On the link thing, direct links to both this one and Hearts as well seem to be broken, and I think it's because of the length. I checked all our other ones and they worked just fine.


    IC: Leeona had sheepishly looked up when the door opened, thus had a moment to relax when she noticed Pyrite first.

    "Hey, I'm alright, I decided to, uh..." Leeona grew sheepish once more and had to fight the urge to hide her little project. "Work on something to keep myself busy while Lithio, Leppy, and White talk."

    OOC: it'll be a nice change of pace

    (I can click the links from the dashboard for the specific posts, so you can do that too, either that or the notification it sends you for every new reply. maybe we can ask one of the mods about it?)


    IC: Leeona relaxed at Pyrite's excitement, for all it was seemingly embarrassing. She slowly brought up the page with shaky Gem writing next to English letters, and the reference she had in the form of a book below.

    "Your parents were nice enough to gather some things for me, I'm...trying to learn how to read and write what they called 'English'."

    OOC: ouo

    shrug. If we can still access it I'm not concerned. It just doesn't work from inbox for me, but I've always been able to access ATLAU from my bookmarks


    IC: Pyrite beamed and just managed to restrain herself so she didn't freak Leeona out. "Awww, girl, you're tryin' to learn English~~~! Do you need any help??"

    OOC: alright, just making sure


    IC: "Not right now, but maybe later, I am just trying to get the basics for now." Leeona reassured for the time being, regathering her items. "What are you doing out here?"

    OOC: unless you really wanted to ask? ^^"


    IC: "Erhm---oof..." Pyrite started uncertainly, remembering what she'd come out here for. "Uhm, well Steven's back. He's askin' about the bubble cave, but Ammonite isn't feelin' the best today either...don't spread it around yet though, ok?? I don't want White and Leppy to go flyin' up north, heh."

    OOC: Only if it gets real bad, I'm good for now.


    IC: Leeona nodded, looking uncomfortable at the idea herself.

    "They're a little distracted at least, so we shouldn't have to worry about them overhearing as of yet."

    OOC: Well, I just sent you something else I found in PM, so we can finish talking there XP


    IC: "Not since they asked me to give them some time. Last I knew, they were on the opposite side of the farm from the direction that would take you to the ships." Leeona directed, pointed in said direction. "Most likely to avoid the foot traffic."

    OOC:


    IC: "Ever since they came to tell you and I, at least that's what I assumed White went inside to do." Leeona frowned, though tried to avoid assuming things for the time being. "They've been there pretty much half of the day."

    OOC:


    IC: "Just don't let any of the others know for the time being, they might let them know through the...the phrase was 'through the grapevine', yes? What is a grapevine?" Leeona flushed a little upon realizing she was getting off track, and her gaze turned back to her current translations.

    OOC:

    IC: Pyrite smiled fondly and gladly explained, grateful for something else to think about so she didn't feel the need to go talk to the others yet. "A grapevine is a plant that grapes grow on. They're fruits. They make these big long vines like cords that go everywhere."

    OOC:


    IC: "Why vines though? That seems unnecessary. Is it because of where they developed?" Leeona tried to curiously ask, for all she was embarrassed, calmed by Pyrite happily explaining and not chiding her for being curious.
